Very friendly, helpful staff. Nice, calm interiors, very good shuttle bus to the center. Awfuly expencive food; 18 euro for a spoon of nuts in a room mini bar - somebody there was nuts. Also 26 euro for a club sandwich in a pool bar? Crazy. No direct lift connection to pool - some don't like walking through the lobby wearing a swimsuit.

I like very much all staff and services. All staff is very polite and usefull. There is very wonderful garden and area inside. There is a only cafe in the garden? where i tryed to have lunch, but i could not enjoed my food because of very bed quality of food , In spite of priсes were too expensive and i hoped the food would be delicious. But to my suprise the food was very simple and not intresting, I think it was not worth so hight price. Some of dishes reminded me fast-food at a price of a hight-level restourant,

Great staff, great service. We wanted to take a day trip to Florence and the people at the front desk made recommendations on how to do that, gave us the train schedule and suggested things to see. Best of all, when we arrived back at the hotel at the end of the day, we stepped into the hotel bar and the bartender brought us our favorite drinks - perfectly made - and a light snack. The shuttle to the Spanish Steps could start earlier than 10 a.m.

A beautiful hotel in walking distance to the Borghese Park and the Modern Art Museum. The staff was very helpful in making arrangements for daily excursions and even last minute arrangements for a private english guided tour of the Vatican. They offer a shuttle to take guests to and from Rome City Center. Hotel was away from the City Center so we didn't get to experience the night life of Rome as much as we would have liked.

The service & cleanliness were exceptional. Also the location was perfect for walking through the park into Rome which was 15 minutes away. The cost of eating and excessively high mini bar prices. I know its 5 star but behave 10€ for water & coca cola 8€ and no tea making facilities wad poor.We ate out everytime, didn't once eat in the hotel.

Great location, quiet, away from noise but within walking distance to everything. The hotel provides a courtesy shuttle service to the Spanish Steps, which was great. Room and bathrooms very large and luxurious. Wireless internet was a small fortune! Not necessary in today's world to charge that much for internet access. At least offer it for free in public areas.

This hotel was lovely to stay in while in Rome. It is in one of the (relatively speaking) quieter parts of the city, yet not too far out that you couldn't walk out for breakfast and then on to the centre. We stayed in for breakfast though. It is served in one of three impressive dining areas, which gives you a clue that the dining experience is special here. There is a lovely two star michelin restaurant, a club restaurant and bar, then the breakfast area. We were given a room upgrade overlooking the private gardens and pool. Fittings were magnificent everywhere and our room was immaculate. The cleaning staff were lovely. There is a dress code for the garden and restaurant, but don't let that put you off this fantastic hotel. It's a gem and we loved it.

Basically all. Great class. Upon arrival we were put in a much smaller room than contracted, agravated by the fact that 1 of the 2 matrasses was totally used up and each spring felt. (Very surprising experience in a hotel of this class!). When protesting next day we were initially told that it was the room contracted. Only upon our insistance this was not so, was the hotel manager called.,Thereafter the matter was settled in a very satisfactory way by allocating us a junior suite..

The overall sense of efficient calm. A notable aspect of the service was the courtesy shuttle; both day and night drivers were the epitome of helpfulness, and no request was too much or too inconvenient for them. The buffet breakfast was all one could wish for and the restaurant staff were ever attentive. The reception staff were warm, efficient and welcoming and willing to go out of their way to be helpful.

10 min to the Pizz.Spagna by cab (costs 7-10 eu). Breakfast was excellent, beautiful view over the window, classic music, perfect service. Superior room is very poor. The carpet are pretty old and there were no toothpaste/toothbrush/ cotton pads and sweing kit.

The wonderful decor and the extremely friendly staff. We had a lovely, spacious room with a perfect marble bath. The breakfast room / terrace are an extra treat. An added value is that parking is in the hotel's own court. It is very close to the city (5 minutes away from via Veneto) and still adjacent to the huge park of Villa Borghese. In the summer the hotel features a beautiful pool in the garden - we'll have to come back in the summer to explore it.

Wonderful, 9.1
Score from 313 reviews
“The location right off of the Piazza Navonna was great. The rooftop bar and restaurant were excellent ( we had our best meal in Italy there).and the views of the city at sunset and night were beautiful. The hotel was very comfortable, good air conditioning, comfortable beds with adjustable positions, We received an upgrade to the executive floor. The room was fairly large for Italy with great bathrooms with wonderful waterfall showers and high quality amenities. The room had a minibar, flat screen tv and good lighting and fairly large closet and dresser. We had a welcome basket and large bottles of water each day along with chocolates, robes and slippers and turn down service each evening. The hotel was small, quiet, with beautiful art work and we felt secure with electronic locks and a room safe. The staff were personable and attentive. The breakfast buffet was diverse and the coffee good. Would definitely return when in Rome.” Barbara, Mt Horeb Wi |
