Most of the staff are very friendly and helpful. Location is ok and the apartments are lofty and reasonably well equipped. Good value for money
At first we were placed in a basement apartment which didn't look anything like what the website had portrayed. After making a remark about this we were two nights later able to change to an apartment in the main building instead.
Location - near the park and easily walkable distance to the city center. Having a kitchenette is very convenient, as is having daily cleaning of the room at the same time. At the same time - there is a real breakfast available for free - which is much better than most b&b options. The room was spacious, warm and cozy (and we were not bothered by the trams - perhaps they are an issue on lower floors). Great value for money.
Kitchen could be better equipped - with at least a pan, one more pot and some good knives; some of the chairs were a wreck; one of the two burners was not working.
Breakfast, warm room, large suite.
location, beds were like rocks,
helpful staff, spacious rooms, calm location, very clean, large bed large choice for breakfast good equipped kitchen,
noise from the trams passing by Bathroom very clean, no need for renovation. maybe just change the water tabs for more modern ones that mix the warm and cold water
Location, personal, park in front, size of room, old furniture, open pool in the yard.
Tram line drum & vibration during night time (if your window on zoo park site). Very, very old equipment of a bathroom and corridor-hall furniture. In the morning bad water supply and bad water mixer.
Friendly staff, nothing too much trouble. plenty of choice for breakfast. Excellent location for getting about. Tram stops both ways within 50 metres.
The bathroom could do with a little updating, walk in shower would be better.
Staff remembered me from last trip in June & upgraded us to Junior Suite. Super friendly & helpful Highly recommend :))
We missed last day of pool use as closed for Autumn :(
The staff could not be more helpful. Beautiful apartment. We were lucky enough to receive an upgrade. Thank you so much.
Very helpful front desk folks...set up excursions for us! Very Nice breakfasts!
The recommended Restaurants and delivery services were very delicious
Bottled water was not Provided.
out of downtown, but easily accessible by tram. free wifi huge room full functional kitchen nice breakfast polite personnel
doesn't have slippers in the room - bring your own
We enjoyed the walk through the park to get to the metro and the zoo was very close.
The facility needs an update badly.
Friendlyness at the front desk, large rooms, good location near trams (westbound direct connect to Vatican - eastbound direct but long connection to Colloseum) and Parco Borghese - and the pool area. I was this time alone (business), but I would be happy to bring my wife next time
The breakfast waiters were nice - if they were present. I twice almost had to leave before I got my coffee. It is not directly at my favorite place Parthenon.
Central for everything via the tram yet quiet and civilised with a great pool. Staff most helpful and recommended a good local restaurant.
My husband and I stayed in the Aldrovandi Residence City Suites for 5 nights to celebrate our 30th Wedding Anniversary from the 29th Aug to the 30th Sept We picked this hotel based on the reviews of other travellers. I'm very happy to say we were not disappointed. Our suite was amazing from the comfort and size. We had a lovely view of the pool and not a sound at night. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. Not only did we receive the complementary bottle of wine on arrival we also received another on the day of our Anniversary. The location is perfect with a choice of 2 Trams right outside the door The No 19 straight to the Vatican and the No 3 straight to the Colosseum The buffet breakfast was excellent and with so many choices. I found the swimming pool brilliant,so clean and perfect for relaxing after a morning of sight seeing especially with the heat of Rome and great for reviving one self so you are fit to go back out again in the evening. This was one of the reasons why we picked this hotel. On one of the days we went on a tour to Pompeii and as we were been collected very early in the morning the hotel gave us a packed breakfast to take with us it was perfect. I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone and if I'm lucky to get back to Rome I will certainly be staying here again . Thank you for a wonderful stay and making our Anniversary so special.
Staff were excellent. Always courteous and always very helpful. Having a bedroom suite and and very large high ceilinged drawing room was very luxurious. I certainly didn't feel like I was stuck in a just a hotel room. Could easily have entertained or had a dinner party. Very nice swimming pool and bar area.
The tram is outside the front and does start early in the morning, though the double glazed windows do make a big difference. Hate the shower curtain
The apartment was great. The bed was comfortable The garden with a bottle of wine was great. The swimming pool - huge and clean The tram stopped right at my doorstep
The tram is a bit noisy, not too bad but noticeable.
Concierge extremely helpful and welcoming. Good buffet breakfast, with plenty of choice. Lovely pool and sun terrace. Good tram links into Rome. Fantastic local restaurant/pizzeria 5 minutes on tram, or short walk. Quiet location, opposite city zoo. Complementary bottle of wine in room on arrival.
Cleaner took our 'do not disturb' sign! Also didn't top up milk and sugar in the room. Hot water in short supply in the bathroom and shower temperature fluctuated. Have to get new wifi code each day from concierge. People reserving tables for breakfast and then coming down late, leaving people waiting for a table. Hot drink service could be slow at breakfast.
2nd time to Rome and had a great time viewing all the major sights and taking in the wonderful feel of the city. The Aldrovandi Residences was a brilliant choice and I was guided by Trip Adviser. Really couldn't fault them and Marco on reception could not help us enough. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants a quieter location just outside the city, but within walking distance if you feel like the exercise
The staff were very friendly, pool was great after a few hours walking around Rome in 30 degree heat. We had 6 days so we had a couple of pool days mixed in with sightseeing.Breakfast great, for a continental type.rooms not massive but had kitchenette with fridge all kept very clean by a maid that we never saw. Number 9 and 3 tram stop just outside hotel so when you mastered them yo can travel one way to Vatican City, the other way two stops to a local restaurant or supermarket or stay on to central rome via subway.
Nothing about hotel, little awkward to get there from Roma Termini (train) station. We bused and walked but instruction of 6 stops meant nothing as bus sometimes didn't stop. A taxi might have been better! Once we had our bearing no problem getting around with a 3 day bus/tram pass.
Lovely location. Friendly staff. Clean and pleasant room.
Our -1st floor- bedroom at the backside was really quiet, also at night. Good bed and wifi (daily codes). Professional and pleasant reception personnel. Taxis arrive in 3-5 minutes, to various places ca 12 euro. Vast choices of breakfast, e.g. 4 or 5 different cereals, cakes, freshly cut fruits etc etc
Stayed for 5 nights. Only regret is that at the end of each day we were too tired to visit the pool... Would love to go there again!
