Fantastic hotel and a beautiful place for our honeymoon. Everything was just perfect! Can absolute recommend this hotel!
The staff is wonderful. Bright ,knowledgeable, very helpful. the place is elegant and well maintained for the most part. Room and bath were excellent.
some of the carpets are showing wear and are not so clean. Food prices are a bit high, but not surprising.
staff, decor, spacious rooms, beautiful garden
slightly too far from centre, traffic noise, silly prices
The Hotel facility is so peaceful and beautiful. Francisco at the pool couldn't have been kinder, even giving us a local restaurant recommendation to experience a meal with the "locals". The made to order food at the hotel is EXPENSIVE. The breakfast is amazing and located in a beautiful banquet room. Everyone there serving was kind, English friendly..a wonderful experience! The tall trees surrounding the pool were breath-taking and a picture I'll always remember. I'd like to stay again on our next trip to Rome!
Coming back from sight-seeing each day, we had to find a taxi somewhere, you couldn't just walk "home".
A highly professional staff/hotel from the beginning to the end of our holiday. Could not praise it enough. Fantastic.
Could not fault anything!!
Quiet location Staff, Shuttle service Pool Breakfast
Expensive food and drink
A truly luxury hotel, friendly and plenty of staff, amazing breakfast, great pool surrounded by high trees and Palm trees, a big enough hotel yet with a very exclusive feel, great room. Bikes available for free to explore the city.
Very few dislikes, maybe just the extra charges for in room dining and little flexibility for late check out.
The service was great and the facilities were fabulous.
The WiFi was not great as we kept losing connection. As one would perhaps expect, food was expensive in the hotel garden bar.
The location, the garden, the terraces and meals. Its a little of a paradise ... for tourism.
The room: uncreative furnishing, problems with phone, TV and wifi.
Nice hotel but too far from the city! Not my style.
Amazingly chic hotel, great friendly staff, great facilities such as bike / ipad to borrow <3
Love very much the swimming pool and the elegant Italian garden. Beautifully located next to the beautiful big park in the city. Subtle bus service every hour an hour taking guest to Spanish Steps area makes it super convenient. Best tiramisu ever in Rome! Best room service Pizza ever as well!
The swimming pool and the restaurant. The latter, though pricey was quite an experience.
Getting a taxi into the city centre can take a lot of waiting.
I really enjoyed the hotel. The staff are very helfull, the restaurant is great and the rooms are very big and clean.
I didnt like the fact that yhe hotel is far from the city attractions. They have a shutlle service. But since we were 5, we had to schedulle a shuttle just for us. And that was impossible to do it....
Luxury hotel Out of the city Luxury free shuttle to Spanish Steps
Staff attitudes very varied Main bar closed
Beautiful hotel, great staff,Sala verde for breakfast is really beautiful
Location is high so forget about the bicycles, shuttle to downtown had 6 seats only and needed booking,so we had to take taxi often (Rome taxi price climb pretty fast)No bathroom kits(tooth brush, shaving kit,etc...)a little overpriced
Beautiful decor, classic style and service, modern facilities. Located away from the tourist crush in a quiet, wealthy residential area. There is a free shuttle every 30 minutes to the Spanish Steps (10 minute drive). We loved everything about this hotel.
Wi-fi weak and unrealisable
Facilities of the hotel.. Garden and pool.. Shuttle
Old rooms.. Carpet..
We were in a room with windows higher than head height, all we could see is the sky!no view Prison feel, very dark. They have no tea/ coffee facilities in the room, you have to order room service for each cup of tea and it is €10 per person to do so! The place is beautiful and the staff is very nice although we weren't satisfied during our stay in the hotel.
Spacious room Romantic Breakfast
Staff is not interested in guests Rather arrogant Dinner (not in 2 stars restaurant) is extreme expensive: tomato soup 20 euro, 5 cm2 fish and 6 carrots for 38 euro
Room was not ready at 2pm when we arrived.
Everything - it excelled in almost every way and was a fantastic environment to chill out, be peaceful and get on with some important work for a couple of days.
Reception staff and the second shift of cleaning personnel, hall, exterior of the building
Rooms are in poor condition, head to change the first room because the carpet was fully wet and there was a constant smell of fungus and humidity; broken bathroom sink (fixed it my self), safe box was on low battery, shower tab and small mirror were broken. In the second room situation changed slightly and smell of humidity decreased, safe box again had a low battery and small mirror was broken. Cleaning lady's did not change towels and bed sheets. Only another shift of cleaning changed towels and bed sheets.
Service was stunning. Pool is beautiful. Fruit at breakfast superb. Wine excellent. Our weekend at the AVB was probably the best hotel stay ever. Fab
Double bed was 2 singles lashed together
