Located close to the city centre, yet away from its traffic and noise; beautiful surroundings. Impeccably clean room, day and night service. Rich breakfast served in a beautiful veranda, excellent quality of food. Polite and friendly staff. The warm, refined scent of the reception hall is something I recall with pleasure. Discrete, yet impressive Christmas decoration.
We booked a superior double room, but it was smaller than we expected, according to the site's description.
It is an upscale hotel.
Professional service, very good breakfast. Very polite and pretty SPA reception attendant. Non ordinary decoration. Confortable and spacious bathroom. Convenient location nearby to most of places of interest and shopping areas.
TV was malfunctioning and always with red display. SPA need very early reservation and treatments are very short and overcosted for its actual services which are not similar to asian level. Avoid arrangements by concierge for sightseeing & transportations as prooved to be non reasonable at cost. Rooms facing to street suffering from the noise of tram train during the night because of no good noise insulation of window screen.
I did not like that the sauna only opens at 11.00 hrs. That is too late.
The lobby/entrance Two of the staff at breakfast were exceptional e.g. Vivien and Emma (?) - much warmer and more informative than front of house staff.
Room needed refurbishment. Carpets old and stained. Airconditioners in poor shape. Facets of the bathroom not in good working order. Breakfast just Ok. Hotel somewhat out of the way.
excellent hotel ambiance raffinee grande classe
Low value for money Do not respect what promised on the net. Not a luxury room.
The staff were amazing and helpful, The room was clean, Availability of a shuttle bus to Spanish Steps was of great convenience
Room had poor sound proofing, we cud hear everything from the corridor, being the first room near the lift, we could hear the lift going up and down regularly too. Not a huge problem though...
The hotel is comfortable and the staff professional We had an upgrade to a junior suite which was spacious. The free shuttle to the top of the Spannish steps was essential as the hotel is a little outside the main tourist / Roman attractions
I would avoid the 2 star Michelin restaurant which is overpriced and remarkably average. The location is also a bit of a disadvantage compared to other more central hotels. Price wise though the hotel is good value for money. The meal at the restaurant cost very nearly as much as the 4 night stay in the hotel
design Rooms and hotel design and the hospitality
Decorated with great taste and situated in a superb neighbourhood, away form busy tourist areas. The staff very attentive and friendly. The shuttle to the Spanish Steps was amazing!
the food at the garden/pool restaurant-expensive and ordinary-made a surprising contrast with everything else at the hotel
Pool and attendant staff Luxurious room Availability of bikes Peaceful location
Booking for Michelin-starred restaurant cancelled with almost no notice Poor quality of food at café Sometimes patronising attitude of staff
Professional courteous staff particularly helpful in fixing up tours and tour guides and very helpful courtesy coach service to Spanish steps. Nice touch to be given a room upgrade on arrival.
Couple in next room having a row all night one night! But nothing hotel could have done.
The location, facilities and food were exceptional by any standards
Some of reception staff seemed a bit stand offish but maybe that suits some guests but in general most of staff couldn't do enough for us
The rooms are spacious. The bathrooms are modern and wide. Still the hotel did not lose its old charm while able to supply modern accommodation. The free bicycle and iPads are a very good touch. Breakfast was more than adequate and full buffet. The breakfast room/view was also very good. The hotel food in general is very high class. We did not try the pool, although it looks very good. The location will be both a + and a negative! If you enjoy the quite beautiful side of Rome this will do for you. But if you want the huss and buzz of shopping, monuments, and night life, then you need a car.
Really nothing.... -The location will be both a + and a negative! If you enjoy the quite beautiful side of Rome this will do for you. But if you want the huss and buzz of shopping, monuments, and night life, then you need a car.
Breakfast excellent, comfortable beds, excellent shuttle service, romantic poolside bar.
We were on our honeymoon and had emailed on booking to alert the hotel of this-we were very disappointed that it was never mentioned on check in or during our stay.
quiet location attentive staff Borghese park across the street easy access to tourist sites
Breakfast was excellent but other meals need improvement
everything especially attention to details
Everything too old
Concierge is the best! wifi really easy beautiful hotel pool territory free shuttle service to spagna nice rooms! loved the hotel
From reception on arrival to the end of holiday it was like being with freinds
expensive local dining accessibility
Fantastic hotel and a beautiful place for our honeymoon. Everything was just perfect! Can absolute recommend this hotel!
The staff is wonderful. Bright ,knowledgeable, very helpful. the place is elegant and well maintained for the most part. Room and bath were excellent.
some of the carpets are showing wear and are not so clean. Food prices are a bit high, but not surprising.
Very good hotel with very friendly staff. Spacious room with a good bathroom. Near the Villa Borghese. There is a free shuttle from the hotel to the Spanish stairs. Free parking and free and excellent Wifi in the whole hotel.
Fitness room has limited equipment.
