Hotel del Centro is in the historic center of Palermo 165 yards from the station and close to the shopping district. It features a free Wi-Fi internet point.
Score from 652 reviews Good
Set on the northern coast of Sicily, B&B Vista Mare is only a 5-minute walk from Palermo Harbour. It offers air-conditioned accommodation with sea views and an Italian sweet breakfast.
Score from 66 reviews Wonderful

Score from 502 reviews Very good
The hotel is good, central, close to train station and bus stop that goes to airport, it is clean, staff very friendly, good bed, very quite..
Poor breakfast Wi-Fi doesn´t work in the room, just in the lobby
The staff is very friendly and helful. The pictures of the rooms are exactly the same in reality. The hotel is nice and clean and no doubt quite cheap.
We had to climb 3 floors with heavy suitcases on foot since there is no elevator! And the ceilings are about 5 metres high, so it's more or less like 5 floors height! Thus I wouldn't reccomend the hotel to elderly people, families with little children and people having some diseases, such as asthma, heartaches or walking difficulties, etc.
Superbly run, beautiful hotel with good facilities and breakfast, not forgetting the very friendly, professional reception staff and breakfast staff. Highly recommended.
Wifi only worked in the common area.
Heavy laguage to carry on 4 flour is hard
Very helpful personal Good location too sea old town
Good location for easy access to train station and other historical places in Palermo. All staffs speaks fluent English and they were very favorable. I should point out the pictures on the web do not show its elegant interior at all. I liked all the designs of lobby, kitchen for breakfast, reception, room and bathroom.
you should carry your luggage to 4th floor without lift.
The hotel was built in a historical building, and everything inside the hotel says elegant and confort~ The staff was very friendly and passionate, she voluntarily offered us touristic advises~ She is also very patient and very willing to answer our questions! It is a very nice hotel and definitely has great value of money!
The hotel was very nicely decorated, situated in an older building. The staff was helpful and friendly. The air conditioning, and wifi worked very well.
We knew that the hotel had no elevator, but were assured that none of their rooms were higher than the second storey. It is true that all their rooms are located one the same level, but what we did not realize was that the hotel was up five flights of stairs! After a day of walking we found the stairs hard.
Owner cancelled room when arrived.
position, charme of the hotel and room, very good and polite staff
Nice and helpful crew. No problem with leaving luggages or helping with the map. Interesting interior design. A little bit baroque but not too fancy. Comfy beds.
The neighborhood is messy and little bit underwhelming. Can be koud outside at night especially when you have window from the street site.
Good location, good facilities, helpful staff, would stay again!
Good location not far away from places of interest and central railway station. Nice breakfast.
Not so easy to find, high stairs, ho lift, bed smell at the entrance hall.
The decoration of the hotel The staff The cleanliness The comfort
The noise of the street (but this is Sicily) The position The lack of elevator
Everything was great! The staff was very helpful, especially Daniel and Alex! A/C and wifi worked perfectly! The location is smack in the middle of the old town, with lots of restaurants, bars, and sights within walking distance. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone coming to Palermo! Thanks everyone for making my trip so memorable!
Breakfast Facilities Too old
Brilliant interior! Antique furniture - all as on the pictures. Near to grand central. Not bad breakfasts. Attentive english speaking staff.
The surroundings are awful. It seems you are living in Harlem. If you think how to reach to the hotel, choose Via Roma, not Via Maqueda! When the windows are open it is very noisy and dusty. Wi-fi is only in a lobby.
Clean and tidy No problem with special wishes in service Very good and rich italian breakfasts
Electric stuff in rooms seems a little bit old Staff could have known english little better A little far from center No fresh fruits for breakfast
This is nice and fine hotel to stay in Palermo it is between two big streets Maqueda and Via Roma and due to this it is a lot of noises in the evening. But it is close to center. It is very clean.
Breakfast is poor. Eventhough that it is not in good part of the toen (neiburhood) seems scary at night but we didn't have any problems.
Clean rooms, great staff, room with balcony, furniture.
- great atmosphere - friendly and helpfull staff - clean & tidy - nice and original roomdecor; think overly pink/green, floral patterns and old fashioned furniture. - perfect location between the central station and the city center. Lots of restaurants and shops around the corner - best breakfast ever! - nice view (from the 'green side' of the hotel) - 24 hour reception
- the shower could be a bit more modern, plus if you're tall, you won't fit underneath. - the staff doesn't speak English that well, but then again, none of the Italians do. :)
The staff was kind and well-mannered, and the place was clean. Breakfast is nice.
First, I didn't appreciate that they charged my credit card before I arrived because I wanted to pay with cash. Then I wrote beforehand asking for directions and all the lady told me was: "150 m from the train station". When I got to the station my husband (who only speaks Italian) phoned asking again for directions, and the man that answered only repeated that it was 150 m and to ask there where Via Divisi was (maybe he didn't speak Italian). The neighborhood is very disagreeable and it is NOT 150 m from the station. When we got there the room was nothing ike the pictures.
Interesting old property
