I thought the hotel staff was extremely accomodating and couldn't have been nicer, especially Monty. He went out of way to help us on many occassions with our luggage as well as reservations and accomodations. I did not like the fact that you had to walk up a flight and a half of stairs to get to the elevator that only ran between the first and the second floor. This was a problem with luggage. Also our room was on the third floor and there was no elevator from the second to the third floor. |

The breakfast was good. The hotel was close to museums. We stayed two nights. The first night the air conditioning was on and very cold in the room and the next night there was no air and was very warm. There were no controls to adjust temperature. The bathroom was not clean when we arrived. Toothpaste in the bathroom sink. The toilet did not look clean. On the second day the towels that we used the first day were folded and put back on the racks. |

Close to shopping and museums,Staff friendly, attentive and helpful with suggestions of restaurants and map reading. Would have liked tea and coffee making facilities in the room.Did not realise there were so many stairs before reception.Bag lugging up to the lift was not what we were prepared for. |

Helpful staff, convenient location, very quaint accommodations. Also liked the little wine bar/restaurant right across the street from the hotel. Elevator is one level up from the main street (reception is 2 levels up). WIth bags, you have to walk up 2 flights of steps before getting to the elevator (they don't have staff on that level to assist you). Also, they had an internet connection & pc available for guests but it was down for one of the two days I was there. |

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Excellent location, easy access to all major sites in the city. Great value for the money. Yes, you do have to walk up 30 steps to get to the elevator but in Europe you are lucky to have an elevator at all. No complaints about my stay. Would definitely recommend it to friends. |

The staff at this hotel are wonderful and so helpful (especially Monty) - as soon as we arrived at the hotel we were made to feel so welcome. We would definitely stay at the hotel Alessandra again. The location of the hotel is brilliant as it is only a few minutes walk away from all the major tourist sights. |

The staff were fantastic, very happy, helpful, genuine friendly people Showers struggled with demand in the morning - so I just had mine in the evening - not an issue, in an older building |

The staff were helpful and well-humoured. The room was not well cleaned on one occasion but the manager swiftly corrected this. The hotel had a little too much character, given that there were 103 stairs to climb from street level to the room (although the miniscule and sometime malfunctioning lift is designed to save roughly half the steps) Breakfast was good - but why can't Italians produce... |

Not only is this hotel excellently located right by the Ponte Vecchio, but it also has a panoramic roof terrace for a relaxing meal or drink whilst admiring the beautiful Florence skyline. |
Set next to the Ponte Vecchio, Italy’s most famous bridge seems close enough to touch from Hotel Hermitage, the bed and breakfast with possibly the best views in Florence. |
The Minerva offers a rooftop terrace and pool with beautiful views over Florence's historic centre. Internet is free. The Duomo and main railway station are a 5-minute walk away. |
Hotel Europa is perfectly placed in the middle of Florence’s historic centre, its rooms enjoying spectacular views over Brunelleschi’s famous dome and Giotto’s bell tower. |
