It was an easy walk from the train station and the staff gave a genuine and enthusiastic welcome. Everything, Duomo, restaurants, were an easy from the hotel. The terrace on top was perfect for a brief quiet moment between touring and dinner. We would stay again in an heartbeat

Breakfast was OK. The elevator is small. WiFi was not always strong

Location Staff Breakfasts Bathroom Cool floors Quietness (no noise from other rooms)

Not being able to control/turn on the air conditioning myself and not knowing what was 'normal' for the unit (but then I'm not a very experienced traveller). Once I knew that I only had to ask, it was fine.

Friendly staff who were exceptionally helpful on our arrival. The rooms were clean and comfortable and cool! Air-con in your Florence hotel room in June is a must! A lift is available for those that cannot make the stairs up to reception. The location was fantastic, in the heart of Florence a few minutes to Ponte Vecchio. Will definitely stay at this hotel again on my next visit to Florence!

First and Foremost: Monti, the receptionist who checked us in was fantastic!!! He was funny, polite, very helpful, and took time to explain all the services we were given along with our stay. He was never rude or upset by our questions, and helped us plan a perfect 48 hour itenerary for Fireze. THANK YOU MONTI!!! Next: The hotel itself was amazing. The riverview was exceptional, breakfast was good, and the room was spacious, especially the bathroom.

We had a wonderful time, and the hotel and staff exceeded my expectations in all areas!

Hotel Alessandra is in a perfect location! So close to all the piazzas and attractions. Staff is very helpful and the service of parking your car for you was very convenient.

Nothing! Even the 30 stairs that the hotel discloses before you get to the elevator isn't a problem!

Excellent location--close to everything. Friendly and knowledgable staff. Delicious breakfast. The beauty of Florence.

Crowds and high gold prices but that is to be expected.

The hotel was really close to the vecchio bridge and because of that very central but not noisy. I have to say that Andrea and Monti were great: I was travelling alone and I felt that they were always taking care of me with a big smile and great english :)

Very good location in the old city with a reasonable price. Very friendly hotel staff, thank you!

If you are in a car, it is difficult to drive in the old city traffic and find parking place.

    Location, helpful staff

Separate bathroom, even though it was assigned to my room only. Room a bit dark and tired (though clean). Other parts of the hotel were smarter and more elegant than my room

You really can't beat the location: it's on a super quiet street, but within *easy* walking distance to everything in the center. My room was lovely, the breakfast was delicious, and the staff was really delightful and knowledgeable. It was a pleasure to stay here! I will *definitely* stay here again!

The WiFi in my room wasn't super powerful, but, you know, you're in Florence, there are other things to do. The only thing to watch for: the elevator does not go to street level. You have to climb to the first floor (US: 2nd floor) and take the elevator up from there. This wasn't a real problem for me, but for anyone who has a hard time taking stairs, it could be.
