Position and staff
Outstanding staff who went out of their way to accommodate your needs.
The location could not have been better; steps away from Ponte Vecchio. My double room had a view of the Arno. The room was large and comfortable. The WiFi worked great. There are some steps to get in before the elevator, but the staff carried everything in and out, so it was no problem. The place is worth the few steps. The staff is wonderful and made me feel at home.
Great stuff and a very good location
good position in the city centre, nice host, good service.everything is perfect.
Stayed for two nights. The room was comfortably large (I was solo), the bathroom was almost as big. Close to the attractions, but the street on which the hotel is located is pretty quiet which is nice when you want to get a good night's sleep. It was october so didn't need a/c. I did use the heat briefly when it got chilly late night/early morning. Breakfast was fine (i'm vegetarian and had enough choices). Definitely one of the nicest hotels I've stayed at in continental Europe Would highly recommend if the cost works for you. (fyi i'm a low-mid-budget traveler and i went in october).
Greeted very warmly by staff and breakfast was very nice with cappuccino served with a smiley face! They let us check in very early (7:30 a.m.) even though we were just hoping to leave our bags and invited us to have breakfast. Room was large and clean. Lots of stairs which was fine for us but others might not like. Overall, very happy with the hotel and grateful to their wonderful staff for saving our Florence vacation!
Slight sewer smell upon entering front door and room. Opened windows for fresh air and then it was fine. Restaurant below room was very loud until about 11:00 but probably just our room.
the location was fantastic the staff very helpful and friendly - very helpful tips as where to eat great little roof terrace old word charm
breakfast very limited access a little difficult
Near museums, ie, Accademia and Uffizi (quick 5 minute walk), centrally located, GREAT staff, WiFi/Free breakfast. It really had a great, old feel to the place and I really loved it. Super high ceilings, old fashion elevator.
The only downside, if there is one, was that it was confusing to find the hotel when you first arrived. Afterwards, no big deal, very easy.
Location and staff were very nice
The owners and all desk staff were helpful and courteous. The coffee and breakfast was good for the price and the rooms were large.
But had to because this place was perfect - charming staff, helpful on every front, phenomenonal location, room and bathroom more than I would expect for price. Will recommend and will always stay here when in Florence - wish could have stayed longer
Nothing - all good
The hotel has a great location, just a couple of blocks from Ponte Vechio! Not luxurious comfortable and clean. The best part though is Monty at the front desk! He is amazing! He made us all laugh so much! Thank you Monty!
Great location in the centre of Florence Lovely welcoming staff especially Monty on the front desk who was delightful !
Lift was a little "snug" when getting in with your cases, but no big deal.
Great location, not too far to walk from the station, even with a heavy bag. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the hotel was run very professionally. Breakfast was great.
Great location, breakfast was nice, staff is very nice, room was basic but very clean.
My room had the bathroom separate-but I think that this is the only room with this set up. Furniture in my room was a bit dated.
Obviously, sleep quality doesn't just depend on the mattress. Didn't use the Wifi.

Nice breakfast, very helpful staff. The location was fabulous!
Cold air blowing from the vent right on our bed
Cleanliness, location, staff friendliness, breakfast
slightly difficult to get up first set of stairs with large luggage
It was an easy walk from the train station and the staff gave a genuine and enthusiastic welcome. Everything, Duomo, restaurants, were an easy from the hotel. The terrace on top was perfect for a brief quiet moment between touring and dinner. We would stay again in an heartbeat
Breakfast was OK. The elevator is small. WiFi was not always strong
Location Staff Breakfasts Bathroom Cool floors Quietness (no noise from other rooms)
Not being able to control/turn on the air conditioning myself and not knowing what was 'normal' for the unit (but then I'm not a very experienced traveller). Once I knew that I only had to ask, it was fine.
house and rooms wifi probably best in italy location value for money sleep was perfectthe restaurant recommended was pure italian we were the only tourists, and it was good, ask them
