Sublime. This is a 4 star Hotel posing as a 3 star. The rooms are large and well-appointed. The staff cordial and obliging. My wife and I travel a lot so It was a refreshing surprise to have such a genuinely excellent service in a city centre location.

If you want to visit Pisa and tour Toscana, then hotel A. La spina is the hotel of choice. Just 5 mins away from the Pisa central train station as well as from corso italia the main shopping street. Piazza dei miracoli is approx 30 mins walk. Hotel provides an good value for money since it is small, clean, has good size rooms, a good bfast and most imp excellent staff. Will definitively try to stay there when back to Pisa.

The personnel of the hotel was very nice and friendly and they made us feel home. The hotel is very near the airport and the railwaystation, so it is an exellente place to make daily trips to nearby towns and to the see. The rooms are spacios and the bathrooms are nice and in good condition. The hotel would merit four stars instead of three, when a little parts of the walls would be repainted and a water damage on parket floor in a room would be repaired.

Beautiful hotel, more than delivered on description given. Great location for exploring Piza. Sadly we only had one day/night there but would definitely go back and would most definitely stay at same hotel. Staff extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful especially with info on directions for sight-seeing and restaurants, nothing too much trouble.

A most enjoyable stay: the staff were brilliant, the room was large and lovely, beautifully decorated, comfortable and clean. We drove, but the hotel was close enough to the airport for a short taxi ride, walkable to the station and car parking is available and worth the €10 per day. As parking is limited, reservation would be sensible. The Duomo and Leaning Tower were 2kms - about 25 mins walk away. The best hotel of our week's tour of Tuscany!

We absolutely loved this place. It was a wonderful private, We adored the way it was decorated and the comfort was fantastic. We recommend it for couples! It is quiet and so nice. If we could move that to our county and land we would live there!

The hotel has Italian style and comfort. Great hospitality with friendly, helpful staff. Good location, 10 minutes by taxi from the airport. Close to the train station which enabled us to travel easily to Florence, Lucca and Viareggio during our 5 day stay. Wonderful comfortable bedroom and lovely bathroom with a great shower. Good location about a 20 minute walk to the Leaning Tower, the Duomo & the Campo Dei Miracoli, Field of Miracles. Only thing lacking was a kettle in the bedroom to make a hot drink.

This hotel is a good 30 minute walk from the Pisa's main attraction the tower. Once inside it is very comfortable but am afraiid the approach to the hotel needs a lot to be desired. Bit off putting till you go in!

Staff friendly, helpful and welcoming, very good breakfast. Room spotlessly clean, nice bathroom. Position near station means it is a good base for day trips to eg Florence, Lucca and Livorno. All parts of Pisa are within walking distance (25 mins).

We found the location quiet and close to the airport and station so easy to get to. We asked for a quiet room and were given one. The room was lovely and what we expected. The breakfast was more than adequate and served by a delightful and charming lady. The reception staff were helpful and professional. This hotel is well away from the main tourist area so may not be the choice for some, but we enjoyed the stroll across town seeing lots of local activities we otherwise wouldn't have seen.

We would stay at this hotel again when we return to Pisa! The nearness to the airport and easy walking distance to everything, including the train station is ideal. What made this the best place to stay was the individual attention of the staff. Angela makes each person feel as though she is a long lost friend and your enjoyment and ease of traveling in and around Pisa is of utmost concern. Her husband was equally caring and helpful. They gave us great instructions and recommendations.
