Score from 817 reviews Wonderful
Clean and nice hotel, with perfectly clean room. Wifi was fast, the breakfast is ok, and there's a nice restaurant on the ground floor. Parking in a closed place right next to the hotel is 5EUR/day which was ok as well.
It's a bit far from the city center, however a tram and bus takes you directly there, so it's not a big deal.
Good value for money and the staff were very helpful. It's not super close to main tourist attractions, but very easy to get into the city by tram. Breakfast was good, and the restaurant puts on a good dinner.
Only issue was that the hotel was quite noisy. Thin walls meant we could hear our neighbour's phone going off at night and their conversations.
Wi-Fi was great! Good, clean, comfortable room. Easy walking distance to train into central Firenze. Didn't use their parking, found a place on the street right outside hotel.
Bathroom was your typically "too small to turn around in" type. Shower needed repair (door and drain).
The room was very large and comfort, nicely decored. Good and varied breakfast. Easy to get to the center of town.
The breakfast and the restaurant in the evening were very good. The staff was kind and helpful. Location was not so far from the city tram service.
That parking was very difficult and if you wanted to get the private parking from the hotel there was an extra 5 euros to be charged. It can be very noisy in the mornings because of the main road, but the worse part was that we were charged 3 euros extra per day per person as city tax when in other hotels nearer to Florence City centre charged only 2 euros! On top of this we were not given a receipt for this.
The location of the hotel is good.
Although the conditions of the reservation included free WiFi, it turns out that there was a problem with the internet and there was no WiFi at all. As I told that to the manager and asked for a discount, he said it wasn't the hotel's fault and that although the hotel did knew about the problem ahead, they didn't see fit to let me know ahead and enable me to decide whether I still want to reserve (I wouldn't have reserved if I knew there is no internet in the hotel at all). The bottom line is that I wad demanded to pay a full price although I did not recieve what I payed for. Instead of apologising I had to argue witht the manager adn it didn't help. Other than that, the bathroom is VERY small; the bathroom plastic cover was broken; and the aircondition was noisy and poorly located (directly in front of the bed).
Room & bed
Well furnished room, nice hotel, the staff was helpful, can park even on the street for free, 5 minute walk to the tramway, which tram goes directly to the city center (6-7 stops, 10 minute). Breakfast is good enough.
We reserved a private park place in advance, which they confirmed, but at our arrival they told me, there is no space in their private closed park area, so we should park on the street, but it was just one night, and the district seemed to be safe enough, so it was not so big problem. Other bad thing was, for the breakfast, there was no vegetables! Otherwise it is a quite good hotel!
Everything is perfect.
A little far from the center
Conveniently located close to Federiga tramstop (around 15 mins tram + 15 mins walk toward the old city centre). Theres a gellateria/ice cream very close to the hotel.
Wondered if the city centre hotels were better. Hotel is located outside the touristy destinations and theres nothing going on that area therefore a commute to SMN station is always necessary. Room is not soundproof.
Great location, just a minute from a tram stop that takes you to the city center. Great staff. Breakfast ok.
Had a leakage in a sink first day,but the staff took care of it fast.
Comfortable, really clean, easy to get to the centre. Good breakfast (with a proper cappuccino made at the moment by request). But what really does the difference in this hotel is the staff: they are friendly, helpful and always in a good mood.
Can be a little noisy, sometimes you can hear the others rooms. Nothing that a pair of ear plugs don't solve.
Helpful staff Good food in restaurant for dinner Good breakfast included - great variety
Older hotel, would expect a lower rate but rates are higher in Florence.
Modern hotel, very clean, hard beds, good breakfast (don't expect a cooked full English: this is italy!!) we had a hire car so needed parking, so opted to stay out of the main center, but it was only a short tram ride in for just over a euro. The tram was minutes away from the hotel. Was east to get to from the airport too. Really helpful staff, managed to get us a ticket for the football at ticket price. All in all a great experience. We would definitely return!
Every about the Hotel is very good.
It is not in the main city area
It was clean, neat with good service.
A little bit far from city center
The hotelstaff was nice and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean.Breakfast was good. The hotel was near the tramstop. The centre was only seven stops by tram. There was tram every 5 minutes.
There wasn't fridge in the room.Wi-Fi connection wasn't very good.
Quality of Wifi, relatively close to the city center (by tram).
Noisy street and air conditioner, shower fixed into one direction, very poor breakfast.
Breakfast Lady was excellent Location - really is just 10 mins by tram to the centre Price
Car park was really really small.....
Reception is not good, unkind.
This hotel was convenient to see the sights of Florence, we used the tram which was so easy, reasonably priced and close to hotel. The rooms at the front were a little noisy from traffic in the mornings but this did not affect us as it was the time when we were getting up anyway. The rooms were a good size, clean and comfortable
-Wonderful beds -Comfortable transportation to center with close-by tram -good value for money
-Very small lift
The hotel was well kept, clean and bright. Breakfast was basic but good. The service was excellent; every member of staff we came into contact with was very helpful. The hotel is perfectly situated for the Federiga tram stop outside of Florence. It only takes about ten kind by tram to reach the city centre. Would definitely recommend.
We were not able to get internet access in our room in the third floor for the entirety of our stay which was an annoyance. We did report it and I think they tried to fix it but didn't before we left. This was a minor annoyance in what was otherwise a great hotel.
Staff were very very friendly. Breakfast was really nice. Staff in breakfast room was charming... Hotel room was clean and nice bathroom. Overall, if you ignore the wi-fi issues and the car park spaces which were much too small... it was a really nice place to stay. Also ideal for those needing a lift, all that was small too and not sure if you would get a wheel chair in it.
Wifi was down for the first night we were there and then I had problems with Samsung phone connecting the second night.... I suspect (from checking it out on the internet) it might be because the hotel is using an old router. Also, the hotel saved a space in the car park after requesting it... thankfully, but the spaces in the hotel car park were much too small for the size cars in there. I'm not fat, but had a hell of a job getting in and out of my car - really was not good! I've only got an Audi A3 and so not too big but as you've read it really became a bit of an issue.
