All rooms face the busy, noisy street in front of Vatican Museum. Traffic noise constant impacting on quality of sleep.

Thoughtful and tremendously helpful staff, kind and flexible w/ last-minute change in accommodation needs; Elegant exterior, restrained, simple, well-done decorating, spacious closets and bathrooms; excellent mattresses; Intimate, pleasant bar, commodious breakfast room, with an excellent variety of food; lovely terraces and balconies. Perfect location for Vatican visits.

The only quibble we had - the breakfast coffee was subpar, but we do "press" at home and this is perhaps not feasible in this setting.

The hotel is opposite the walls of the Vatican, near to the museum entrance. The view from our rooms balcony was amazing, the rooms were tastefully decorated and the staff were very attentive and courtious.

No iron in the room, which wasn't ideal, but there are facilities downstairs.

Its location is right outside of the Vatican. Staff is nice, and the room is well maintained and comes with nice amenities. Free wi-fi is also an added value.

The hotel is right across from the Vatican Museum Entrance and is easy to access by car (you don't have to drive through the city center). The hotel has valet parking and the night manager gave a great restaurant recommendation. The room size and bathroom were large as well.

The room we requested through booking.com was not available when we got to the hotel. The hotel had sent us an e-mail, but we did not get it. When we arrived at the hotel, we had to get a more expensive room because the type we requested was full. The hotel can get a little noisy at night if you are facing the main street because there is a bus stop right out the front door.

This hotel is superb. The location could not be better for a Rome / Vatican City trip. The Vatican Museum is right across the street, and the centre of Rome is only a 15 min walk through the scenic streets and piazzas. The rooms are clean and tastefully decorated, and our bed was very comfortable. Breakfasts were tasty and gave a huge selection. The staff are wonderful, friendly, helpful and really make your stay. We will definately return to the Alimandi in the future. Thank you.

Location across from the Vatican is perfect.

Their internet wifi had continuous problems all day. They would fix it, it would last for 30 minutes, then fail again.

Being right acress the street from the Vatican Museum was nice. The hotel is also located between two Metro stops for easy access. The staff was extremely helpful and super-nice. The breakfast was the best we found anywhere and the rooms were clean with comfortable beds.

The ONLY bad thing was the noise from the street. That said... the windows and shutters helped and even though you could hear cars whizzing by all night it was Okay because it made you feel as though you were part of the action of Rome.

The staff was very welcoming, accommodating, professional and easily handled our questions and requests -- in English. Breakfast included with room is rare in Rome -- rarer still is such an extensive and excellent breakfast.
