Featuring a heated indoor pool and a rooftop bar with 360° views out over Florence, this ultra-modern hostel is a 10-minute walk from the Santa Maria Novella Train Station.
Score from 3586 reviews Very good
The Norcenni Girasole Club is set on the slopes of the Chianti hills, between Florence and Siena. There is multiple swimming pools, a spa with a fitness center, plus various bars and restaurants.

Centrally located, Aline is just 800 metres from Piazza della Signoria square and the Palazzo Vecchio. It offers air-conditioned accommodation with free WiFi.
Score from 12 reviews Very good
Location and wifi are brilliant. Even though is was advertised as a shared bathroom, we had our own shower and sink which was useful.
Desperate need of a makeover. Even though the place WAS clean (which is important in my book), the extremely dated, unfashionable decor will never make it look so. A few touches here and there will make it look great.
A short walk from the center of the city Good price Good wi-fi Shared but good toilet Secure building
The room and the incorporated shower needs a renovation We had the windows directed to the street and it was noisy and the walls shaked when bigger tonnage cars passed
walking distance to train station, museums , and various tourist sites. Clean facility all around. Laundry machine is available. Staff took out the clean wet laundry and left them in our room while we were out, we hung clothes up to dry overnight. Convenient coffee shop around corner for breakfast or late meals.
Our room is facing the the street where two way traffic non-stop from 3 AM to midnight. No AC- it is warm during first week of Sept 2014. request a back street room id possible.
The location is great. We just spent there one night and everything was cool. The personal was awesome and very kind.
It's not 24 hours so we needed to way a bit before getting in.
the staff is helpful location
The place is very well located, its safe, quiet and clean.
The location was okay, and the facilities were clean.
The lack of air conditioning. No kitchen facilities or taps we could use for drinking water.
A lot of noise from the toilet, it is not quiet, I was even very hard to sleep.
clean, comfortable room excellent location friendly and helpful staff- we were able to leave our stuff after check-out wifi worked well
the room was small the double bed was actually two small beds that were put together
Comfy bed and good location but that is it.
This is a barebones as it gets. We had tea towels for bathing. It is an expensive step above a hostel.
Only the view from my room
The reception are close too early and open a little bit late. Only 1 bathroom provide shower. It doesn't provide proper towels and also no heater during night. The most important thing is it was too expensive for a 1 star hotel!
very friendly and helpful staff / felt secure / small set-up made me feel quickly at home (not anonymous) / rooms spacy / quiet (of course this would always depend on the other guests) Beautiful times spent sitting on the balcony towards the backside (changed from a room facing the street, by generosity of the hotel manager), facing rooftops and mountains in the distance
shower in the room may be convenient, but I personally did not want to make the whole room feel like a bathroom, with the humidity, and did not want to disturb the other person still sleeping, so I preferred the shared shower. I would have enjoyed a table in the room. The wash basins should have a sieve or so over the drain - we accidentally dropped a small ice cream spoon into it, so one could lose more valuable items. Also needed in the shower to collect hair which otherwise might plug the drain.
the staff at the reception were very nice courteous..and helpful...very close to florence smn station..walking distance..nice area...very safe and secure.
no bathrooms in room..had to share..they were filthy ..as there was no one in the reception at night, so in the morning couldnt even use the toilet...was very wet and the wc was very dirty...no tissue paper everymorning!!!
Everything was so so. Not too bad not so good.
Quite cold at night. It was not that cozy.
The reception was very nice, have lots of service mind. The room was clean and simple. Clean toilet. Have washing machine. Easy to walk to train station.
No coffee bar or microwave.
We are a young couple (28 and 30 years old) without children. We were looking for a room where to sleep in Florence for a long week-end (from Friday to Monday) able to satisfy the following needs: (1) We wanted a location near the city center and easy to reach from the train station. (2) We weren’t interested in breakfast or other special room services, because we wanted to spend all the day visiting the city (a lot to see there, of course) and eating out in the local cafes and restaurants (a lot to eat there, as well). Hotel Aline has been perfect for our desires. It has a good location and good services: (1) Both city center and train station are just 10-15 minutes of walking distance. (2) The room was really very spacious, with a double bed, a wardrobe and a table. Inside the room there is also a sink and a shower located in a corner and, since the room was pretty wide, there was no risk to flood the floor because they are far enough from the other furniture. The room was clean and also the WCs, which were in common, were clean (there are two common WCs with shower for the seven rooms of the Hotel). This Hotel has proved to be good choice for us. The fact that the sink and the shower are inside the room and only the WC is in common is really a plus.
A good location and friendly stuff.
Very, very noisy. Only for the second night we received a good room.
The staff were great they gave us a bottle of wine for our pre honeymoon. Wifi was great Location was good. will come back again. Not a party hostel.
Everything was excelent!
Late arrivals are charged 5 Euro per hour after 19:00. Noisy at night
Excellent central location and very informative, helpful staff. Extremely good value for money.
Reading reviews on other sites, I can honestly say I think they're completely unwarranted. Our stay in Hotel Aline was extremely enjoyable, with the lovely receptionist helping us frequently, with translations, locations of attractions etc. The rooms themselves were clean and comfortable, and were cosily decorated and furnished. Our room had a small shower, and it was easy to use the shared bathroom (only shared between 3 rooms or so) at the end of the hall. The building was secure and required 3 keys to enter, and the location is perfect for exploring Florence, only a short walk away from the city centre and shops. Would recommend to anyone visiting Florence and looking for a comfortable, reasonably priced place to stay.
Heater didn't work the first night, but the receptionist quickly solved this issue, and the building was quite warm anyway!
Lovely older lady on reception when I arrived, quite helpful. Reception only available 8am-7pm...... Decent location relatively close to the train on edge of town (walking distance).
Mosquitos - I was eaten alive on the first night. Older rooms looking a little tatty - one shower for shared bathroom (though was lucky never had to wait).
