Just one thing which is not a big deal, the shower top needs a replacement for the water to come out better and the temperature of the water to be more regulated. Since it is an old farm house so I presume the hot water system can be a bit complicated.
We are a party of 4 travellers and we found the apartment to be simple, warm, comfortable set in a quiet and peaceful environment. We stay in a one-bedroom apartment with 2 levels. The kitchen, bathroom and living room with a most comfortable sofa bed. The upper level has window with a very nice view and 2 single bed and a double bed. In the kitchen, we have a small oven, water boiler and useful utensils for simple cooking. The farm house is located on a side road of the main street going up to the old town of Assisi and the bus stop is only a 2-minutes walk. Also it is located at the foot of the hill of Assisi and there is a very nice pedestrian walk leading all the way up to Pizza Giovanni Paolo II, where you can walk up to Basilica di S. Francesco. It took us less than 30 minutes to walk up in a very relaxed manner.
The owner David is a very nice guy who offer free pick-up at Assisi train station and also free drive to the train station after we check out. We enjoyed simple home-make breakfast with scramble fresh farm eggs & bacon (we put in a request for egg) and pastries made by Dina, mother of David. Also because I made a mistake in a second booking without remembering to cancel, David said he will not us anything for that. So feeling a bit of guilt about this, we asked him whether we could order a dinner for 4. It turned out that we paid him 10 euros per person for a good lesson with Dina in making a local dish of "Toasta" with vege/pototoes, a very local speciality and learning Italian at the same time. It was not only the food is delicious and local but it was also the hospitality of the owner which filled our heart with warmth. We also were very happy to meet the grandfather of David who is 95.
