if you wish to live in historical place - this Villa is for you. Park and house is very romantic but do not expect 5 stars service. small and wet bathroom

Beautiful, atmospheric building and grounds. Staff very friendly and helpful.. Two single beds pushed together to make a double, bit uncomfortable when the gap in the middle opened up.

Magnificent 15th century home, very clean and tidy, everything worked. Huge thick walls, great bet, very large room, could have slept ten people. Brteakfast was lavish and fresh, with personal service. Very friendly staff, not all spoke English, but it didn't matter, as they all knew what we wanted, and knew how to serve. Close to Pisa, and restaurants. We even were invited to a graduation concert for young pianists, which was so wonderful, as it was held in the captivating ballroom of the old house. All the staff, especially the "manager" were very friendly and helpful. Go there !!

Incredibly interesting building, the Count is happy to explain the history to you. The atmosphere of a 16th Century villa was an excellent way to end our holiday in Italy. The frescos are stunning! Breakfast is served in the undercroft where there are also small displays of historic farming and household impliments. The rooms are equipped with character furnishings, appropriate for the type of acommodation and, being on the (very high up) first floor, have lovely views of the park. Contrary to the webpage, there was free wifi, which worked very well. A little too far from the town to walk. The restaurant needs to be booked in advance as the opening hours can be erratic. There's a small pond at the back - it gets a bit noisy during the friog mating season!

Magnifique demeure située dans un parc splendide - Personnel très agréable - Chambres spacieuses et très calmes - Parking aisé et sécurisant . Absence de téléphone dans les chambres - Les petit-déjeuners sont très simples et ne sont pas à la hauteur de l' établissement.

Le cadre, le calme, le climat... La sympathie du personnel. L'Osteria juste à côté qui propose des plats exceptionnels... le petit déjeuner était assez simple...

Tutto! Una splendida dimora d'epoca dove trascorrere una vacanza in perfetto relax. Parco storico per belle passeggiate a "6 zampe" ...già perché accettano anche i pelo setti ^_^ Ottimo ristorante!!!

De ambiance van een middelleeuws kasteel, maar zonder airco, minder aangepast aan de huidige normen, gastheer aristocratisch en niet bereid een andere taal te spreken, bushalte voor de poort, uitstekend ontbijt, ideaal voor bezoek aan Pisa en Luca, bruiloftslocatie levert prachtige plaatjes maar wel belemmeringen voor de hotelgasten maar het interieur maakt weer veel goed.

Siamo stati molto colpite dalla villa che e' bellissima ed immensa... Lo staff dell' hotel molto cordiale e sorridente il che non e' mai male... Il servizio buono, camera grande con balconcino, abbastanza fresca anche di notte ed un bellissimo giardino da vuardare dalla finestra al risveglio... Purtroppo per noi che amiamo il mare come hotel e' un po' distante, tra il traffico e tutto ci vuole anche piu' di mezz' ora per la spiaggia; ottimo invece per chi vuole farsi un week end culturale e visitare pisa & luca che sono molto belle ed a due passi... Un altro piccolo problema e' stato il matrimonio che c' era la sera nella villa & gli schiamazzi fino a tarda notte, non per noi adulti ma per la bimba che avevamo con noi che non riusciva a dormire...

Situation exceptionnelle, tres calme, à 5 mn du centre de Pise... Très bon accueil... Lieu magique chargé d'histoire... Parc magnifique... Très belle chambre... Le temps d'une nuit, on se prend pour une princesse ou un grand seigneur... Heu.. J'ai beau cherché...

- sehr tolles altes Herrenhaus, man fühlt sich in der Zeit zurückversetzt - auch Zimmereinrichtung dem Gesamtbild entsprenend mit alten, aber sehr gepflegten Holzmöbeln angepasst, toller Ausblick - Frühstück gut - großer Garten zum draußen sitzen und Spazierengehen - gebührenfreie Parkplätze vor dem Haus - Restaurant mit auf dem Anwesen (Essen gut) - Gemeinschaftsbad sehr gepflegt, mit zusätzlichen seperaten Toiletten Insgesamt ist es gerade für die Durchreise (und somit nur ein paar Übernachtungen) sehr empfehlenswert, da es eine angenehme Abwechslung zu den üblichen Hotels bildet. - Besitzer sprach nur italienisch, eine Verständigung war aber mit ein bisschen Mühe trotzdem möglich - keine Klimaanlage, jedoch Ventilator, im Haus ist es jedoch sowieso ein wenig kühler als draußen

E' un posto incantato, c'è una bellissima energia. Sia la villa che il giardino sono meravigliosi. E' anche un bel viaggio nella storia rinascimentale.

Ottima posizione per chi vuole visitare Pisa e Lucca, personale cordiale, ambiente molto bello, curato e nel verde Anche il materasso era d'epoca..molle che cigolavano:scomodo! Mi aspettavo che la colazione venisse servita nell'enorme parco.. :(

Sehr freundliches Personal, Superlage zwischen Lucca und Pisa, imposantes Haus von aussen, Heizung war toll, Restaurant nebenan angenehm. Leider keine Aufenthaltsräume.
