This hotel has a good location: it is next to the tourist information office, and there is a supermarket across the street. The hotel does not do laundry, but there is a self-service laundry shop in the northern part of town, ca. 10 minutes on foot from the hotel. We had a room on the second floor, not large, but quite charming. The breakfast was fine. The hotel has a good restaurant, which serves excellent pizzas and other types of food. The staff was friendly and helpful. They allowed an early check-in at 8 AM, which was very helpful to us. This hotel gives you good value for your money.

(1) There is no safe in the room. (2) There is no fridge in the room. (3) The bells of the Basilica may wake you up at 6 AM, but you cannot blame the hotel for this. You can hear the bells all over Aquileia. If you stay for more than three days, the bells will probably not disturb you anymore.

Location, right next door to wonderful mosaics. Excellent restaurant and very friendly and helpful staff.

It was probably adequate for a 2 star hotel, but the room was small and dark with shutters that couldn't be opened properly, and the towels were as stiff as a board.

Very good value for money. Location in the heart of the beautiful and ancient town. The Basilica is really close (including its bell, which may wake you up as early as 6am, but that is part of the charme of the place)!

The breakfast was in line with Italian standards, thus a bit poor if compared to the expectations of other countries' uses. On the one hand, this is ok, since two stars hotels in Italy are not supposed to provide breakfast; on the other hand it is surprising, given that the hotel includes a very good restaurant.

Das Hotel verdient auf jeden Fall einen Stern mehr als es hat: es ist sehr sauber, und die Familie bemüht sich besonders um die Gäste. Es wird sogar wenn man möchte ein richtig üppiges Frühstück serviert, was für Italien ganz und gar nicht selbverständlich ist!!

Die Zimmer waren gut eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Geputzt wurde jeden Tag - mit frischer Bett- und Badewäsche. Die Hotel- und Restaurantmitarbeiter waren sehr zuvorkommend und sprechen auch genügend Deutsch, so dass wir uns als nicht Italienienisch sprechende Gäste gut verständigen konnten. Das Restaurant macht echt gute Pizzen!

Freundliche, hilfsbereite Hotelmitarbeiter. Gute Küche. Gute Lage des Hotels, da die wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten gut zu Fuss erreicht werden können.

Aquileia e' una bella cittadina ricca di arte e cultura. info point molto disponibili ed easudienti. abbiamo trovato una pasticceria incredibile per i suoi dolci. il soggiorno alla Basilica veramente "casalingo" , buona pulizia, e poi abbiamo mangiato benissimo.anche la posizione geografica e' ottima per muoversi nei dintorni!

Pulizia insoddisfacente. Manutenzione trascurata (zanzariere non funzionanti etc.). Pizza "alla basilica" con materia prima non di qualità (acciughe stantie..). Prezzo alto per il livello generale della sistemazione.

Nice location, right in the centre with private parking - the Basilica (as the name implies) is just a short walk away. Really good value for money and the attached restaurant serves excellent food for at reasonable prices. Friendly and helpful staff, they changed our room to face the backyard (less noise from restaurant) instead of the front when requested.

Rooms are a bit old-fashioned and not necessarily super-clean but they were okay. The breakfast selection was quite meagre (eg. no ham or cheese) and served per table (not buffet style) so the portions were also limited but they provided prosciutto and cheese on our request.
