The only thing we didn't like was the location. It's quite far from Venice to start out with, which we knew going into it, but we expected the transportation to be better. Obviously that is not the fault of the hotel. The area around the hotel is not a nice area, and when we had to walk there from the train station the first night, we didn't feel very comfortable on the poorly lit back roads. There is a bus stop right next to the hotel that will take you into Venice but it doesn't run a lot nor after a certain hour so if you're planning on going in and out of Venice, make sure you know what times you can catch the buses to come back.
The hotel and staff were great! Gabriel was so welcoming and attended to any need or question we had. The breakfast was incredible. For 3 euros you could have a coffee and a croissant, and for 5 euros you could have all you could eat with a wide selection of fruit, pastries, toast, cereal, yogurt, and more. Gabriel greeted us each morning at breakfast and made us whatever type of coffee we wanted. Be sure to listen to his recommendations on coffee! He won't let you down. Our room was large, very nice, tidy, and all new. The bathroom was very clean and large as well. The bed was comfy so we got some good sleep while we were there! Overall, it's a great hotel for a good price with excellent staff!
