Very friendly english speaking staff. Young girl on reception extremely pleasant and efficient. Breakfast was excellent and choice of coffee was very welcome. Hotel restaurant on the corner served good food and reasonably priced. Location of hotel in old town was very handy. This is a must stay at hotel.

The first thing that impressed us was the friendliness of the young lady at the reception desk. A smile and a genuine welcome means a lot to weary and confused travellers! Our room was simply beautiful. The painted murals on the walls were wonderful. The jacuzzi was a real treat for tired bones after a long day of travelling and strolling the lovely streets of Lucca. Our breakfast was served promptly by the helpful and friendly staff and nothing was too much trouble.

We spent a relaxing weekend and thoroughly enjoyed the lovely atmosphere of this hotel. The staff were gentle and caring. Fresh juice at breakfast and a great cup of coffee were welcomed!

Quiet, intimate hotel, situated in a fantastic location the middle of the city and close to all the sights.

Lovely room in an old house in the center of Lucca. Perfect location, close to everything. Wonderful big breakfast.

The hotel was ideally located a short drive just inside the city walls in Lucca. Quite easy to find with the help of directions from the staff (and a map showing our exit route!) and for 15 euros per day we could park our car in the hotel's own secure car park close by. Staff were friendly and helpful and spoke excellent English. The hotel itself is delightful, painted beautifully with murals and countryside vistas throughout and in each room. The 14 rooms are all named after flowers with painted bathroom tiles to match; we stayed our first night in "strelitzia" (bird of paradise) which had a jacuzzi bath and shower and in fact loved the hotel so much we stayed our last night in Lucca there, too - in the top floor "viola" room. The decor for a small 'boutique' hotel is sumptuous and the breakfasts were amazing - everything you could possibly want - and more! The fresh coffee - cappuccino and espresso were top rate, too. My husband and I enjoyed the romance and it is ideally suited for couples or honeymooners, although there were some families with children also staying whilst we were there. Thoroughly recommended and we would definitely stay there again on our next visit to Lucca. Buonissimo! Ciao! :o)

A perfect small hotel. Great location, parking very nearby. Rooms are beautifully decorated and furnished and are a real pleasure to be in. Comfortable beds, jacuzzi bath and shower, lovely views over rooftops of Lucca. Good restaurants close by. Helpful and friendly staff. Can't say enough about how lovely this hotel is, we will be returning!

Delightfully tasteful rooms, generously sized and comfortable.

It's the best place I have ever stayed, I felt very lucky to find it. I especially appreciated the softly elegant design of the room, and the wonderful bathtub. The breakfast was excellent. All staff were friendly and helpful. The town of Lucca is special, and the location of the hotel in the town was quiet but a block from the main street.

We had very nice 4 days including New Year's Eve and New Year's Day at this hotel. The room was very cozy and a staff set it neatly every day. The reception desk staff were all helpful and friendly.The location was excellent with very central and many shops nearby.

A little water was leaking from the bathtub. Without this, completely perfect.

We liked the location, the comfort of the room and the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. The breakfast was very good and enjoyable. There is free wireless internet, as well as convenient parking for a small fee. We enjoyed this hotel very much and would stay there again.We recommend this hotel very much.
