Cute and quaint accommodation. Easy parking. Helpful and friendly staff. Good breakfast. Clean, well maintained, good value for money. Central location. Nice decor. This was the best hotel of our whole trip. Zero complaints or problems. It really shows that a small family hotel with a good reputation beats the big so called luxury chain hotels. |

The staff very very helpful and friendly. The location was excellent and the breakfasts also excellent-the best breakfasts I've had anywhere in Italy. I liked the spacious and attactive bathroom. Being able to have a spa bath was a treat. I was travelling alone andI paid 100 euros for a room without a chair to sit on or a desk . Being alone, it makes sense that I might spend time in my room in the evenings-particularly as I stayed for 7 days. One day my room was nor cleaned until almost 3pm. There were also mosquitoes and I suggested to the staff that insect repellent should be made available. They listened politely, but nothing was done about it. |

Room large and comfortable with good facilities Noisy at night - didn't get to sleep until 1am as revellers in street and woken with deliveries at 6am. Hotel staff ripped us off with the taxi to airport so we would not go again to this hotel. We intended to book a taxi with a firm we have used before in Lucca for 45Euros to the airport - when we asked the staff to book it for us they said they could get a better deal for us with a firm they used and they told us they had booked a more luxurious taxi for 45Euros. When we got to the airport the taxi driver demanded 60Euros and said the hotel were aware of the cost. We were stuck in an unpleasant situation at the airport with little time to spare - eventually we agreed on 50 Euros but it spoilt the end of the holiday. |

A charming hotel in a beautiful historical city. The staff was helpful and friendly, the rooms were lovely and clean, and the location in the center of the city was excellent. The breakfast was delicious and provided many options. Would definitely look forward to staying there again. The room air conditioner could have cooled the room more. |

Our room was quiet and our bathroom was vwey nice. I enjoyed the jacuzi bath. Hand towels were of good quality and changed regularly.Breakfast was very nice and parking facilities very good Our room could have been larger for 2 people. The airconditioner did not work very well and is not strong enough for the heat in August. There should also be airconditioning in the bathroom. No mirror in the bedroom. No shelves for book or items on one side of the bed. Pillows could be softer and of better quality. |

This is the best you will find anywhere near Lucca. The owner went out of his way to make everything absolutely perfect during our stay. We had trouble with train tickets and he actually sent somebody to the station to buy our ticket. Do yourself a favor and stay at this beautiful quaint hotel. The rooms are individually decorated and ours was fabulous. The breakfast is straight from a movie set and the ladies were amazingly helpful and kept the food and coffee going long past eleven as we were always late! We can't go often enough! |

Very warm welcome from staff at reception, who were excellent throughout. Rooms well appointed and comfortable - though small - seating area in the lobby. Choice of breakfast fare was also excellent. No Tea/Coffee making facilities in the room. This is fairly standard fare in our country (Ireland) now. In a hotel of this bracket, it's not an unreasonable expectation. |
