La disponibilità e cortesia del titolare sig. Marino , dimostrata sin da subito visto che nostro malgrado (il volo era in ritardo) siamo arrivati a mezzanotte. La posizione, 10 minuti a piedi da S.Pietro,e fermata del bus proprio davanti al portone del b&b. Ottima la colazione servita in camera. La camera,spaziosa,arredata in modo pratico e con bagno privato.

A essere proprio pignoli il bagno avrebbe bisogno di una rimodernata.

La disponibilità del proprietario e soprattutto il suo fedele cagnolino che lo seguiva ovunque scodinzolando.

everything! the owner - Marino - has improved his english ( we stayed here 2 years ago) and is very helpful: he gives you the map of the city, show all the routes, transport, orginises taxi and tickets to galleries. When we come back to Rome we will again stay here!

I appreciated the courtesy and helpfulness of Marino, the owner of the B & B. He is extremely kind and professional in the way he runs his B & B. This is my second visit to this B & B and if I ever need to go back to Rome, I intend to choose this guesthouse again.

The location is near Vatican and S.Pietro. You can walk to there in 10 min. The hotel has small room and shared bathroom. Nice and Clean, it is very convenient for you to visit Vatican area for a short stay.

Great host, air conditioning and breakfast!

Very difficult to access location - there's really only one way to get there from Central Station, and if you don't know to take it then you can end up like we did, walking along an elevated highway with no sidewalk.

Place from the very beginning makes a very nice impression. We immediately made ourselves at home. Our host Marino, very welcoming, came for us to the railway station San Pietro, from where after a 5 minute walk we got to the B&B. Just after the arrival the host gave us maps of Rome and explained how to get around the city (bus numbers, etc.). B&B is located in a very convenient location and is an ideal base for touring Rome. Quiet and peaceful location is an advantage and allows to relax after sightseeing. Close to the Vatican and the Basilica of St. Peter (about 15 minutes walk). Just after leaving the house there is a bus stop, from where you can get to other disctrics of the city. Nearby there is also a supermarket and a few cafe and restaurants. Breakfast is served on the terrace, which leads out of each room. The menu is typically Italian (sweet): coffee, juice, croissants, scones, jam, yogurt (all fresh, bread bought daily at the bakery). Room which we stayed in was large, comfortable, with a TV and its own air conditioning. Host cared for towels and sheets were changed frequently, and the room was cleaned every day. In the whole B&B there was access to the internet via wi-fi or on host's computer. Kitchen, generally available, equipped with all the facilities necessary to prepare lunch or dinner. We highly recommend this B&B. Miejsce od samego początku sprawia bardzo sympatyczne wrażenie. Od razu poczuliśmy się jak w domu. Gospodarz Marino, bardzo gościnny i uśmiechnięty, wyszedł po nas na stację kolejową San Pietro, z której po 5 minutowym spacerku dotarliśmy do B&B. Zaraz po przybyciu gospodarz wręczył nam mapy Rzymu i wyjaśnił w jaki sposób najlepiej poruszać się po mieście (numery autobusów, itp.). B&B leży w bardzo dogodnym miejscu i stanowi doskonałą bazę wypadową dla chcących zwiedzić Rzym. Cicha i spokojna okolica jest dodatkowym atutem i pozwala wypocząć po całodziennych wędrówkach. Blisko znajduje się Watykan i Bazylika Św.

Excellent location, just outside the Vatican walls. Is opposite several bus stops taking you to the Colosseum in around 15mins and many other districts. Pantheon, Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps are all within walking distance. The Trastevere district with many good value restaurants, frequented by locals is just a short taxi ride away. There is a lovely Pizzeria over the road with decent prices for the area and many snack shops nearby. We booked a room with a private bathroom, which was modern, well decorated and romantic. The bed was very comfortable, and the room and bathroom spotlessly clean, with excellent air-con. You have access to a shared kitchen which has plenty of appliances and cutlery. There is an indoor dining table and also a large shared terrace where a typical Italian breakfast of yogurt and croissants, breads, jams, juice and coffee is served each morning. Marino was friendly and very helpful. He provided a us with a map and great advice and directions to get us to all the main attractions. He even booked us a last min reservation at the Vatican and called them to sort out a couple of queries I had. I would definitely stay here again and found it to be excellent value for money.

We couldn't find a supermarket nearby but other than that I cannot fault it.

It was the most beautiful holiday, the conditions of the hotel were excellent, the host is a special person, everything very clean, we have not missed anything, the hotel location is excellent, rich breakfast, it pays to choose the hotel you will not regret. Internet service is excellent, couple with real family style room and living environment. The room is very spacious and offers febulous sight. Cleaness is absolutely not a problem here.

Very hard to find where it is. The owner is not so good in English and too rigorous about check out time, so communication might be a little bit tricky, but I guess that happens everywhere in Rome.

The accomodation is in very good place, the host was kind and helpful.

We really enjoyed our stay - Marino, the host was helpful, friendly and generous. He went out of his way to bring us maps and showed us where to visit and how to travel to see the places we wanted to visit. He even booked opera tickets for us on his computer. Our room was immaculately clean, as was the bathroom and kitchen. Every morning, we got a huge breakfast which set us up for the day. Our room was of a good size, with a television in it. The room overlooked an outside terrace. I'd recommend Alle Porte Del Vaticano B&B to anyone - we plan to return.

I liked the fact that it is within walking distance to the Vatican. Moreover, I appreciated the genuine help and concern of the owner of the Bed and Breakfast. When I do return to Rome, hopefully in the near future, I will make it a point to stay at this b & B. I think that staying at Alle Porte del Vaticano is really very good value for money.

Marino (proprietor) was there to greet us, and could not have been more helpful, giving us all the help we needed. The room was clean and much better than we expected for B&B. All in all we had an excellent stay, and if we went to Rome again, we would definitely go back.

Dobra lokalizacja, blisko Watykanu. Pokój ekonomiczna mały ale wystarczający. Hostel ten to po prostu mieszkanie 4-pokojowe.

Najgorsze śniadanie jakie jedliśmy do tej pory - 1 bułka, 1 rogalik, 1 jogurt, dżem, masło no I suchary. Bieda. Właściciel codziennie sprząta pokoje I zdarza mu się wyrzucać rzeczy - mi wyrzucił stopery do uszu. Mieliśmy pokój ekonomiczny z łazienką na korytarzu - pozostałe pokoje posiadały prywatne łazienki. Mimo tego inni goście korzystali z łazienki na korytarzu, przez co często musieliśmy długo czekać na wejście.

La verdad el lugar es muy bueno, se nos hizo tarde para el chenk in, pero nos comunicamos con el dueño, el cual acudio rápidamente, ningún tipo de problema, el desayuno fue muy variado, café con leche, manteca, mermelada, yogur, una especie de medias lunas, tostadas y pan, podes utilizar tranquilamente una terraza la cual esta bien ambientada, lo recomendamos 100% Muchas Gracias Saludos! C'est une très bonne adresse avec un bon rapport qualité/prix. Le patron est accueillant et donne des renseignements pour les balades et surtout le bus car à Rome ce n'est pas simple! L'endroit est très convivial, c'est un appartement avec des chambres et une petite cuisine avec un frigo pour se faire ses repas et surtout une petite terrasse super agréable. Un bon petit déj est servi dans la chambre. L'endroit est très propre, notre chambre avec salle de bain privative était plutôt grande avec un lit confortable (ce qui est important quand on marche beaucoup!). Enfin on est à 10 min à pieds du Vatican, pour y être tôt le matin c'est bien pratique. Et plusieurs lignes de bus qui vont au centre ont un arrêt en bas de l'immeuble.

Les chambres ne donnent pas sur la rue donc il n'y a pas un bruit la nuit mais on entend ce qui se passe dans l'appartement les chambres ne sont pas très bien insonorisées. Cela ne nous a pas dérangés, les autres voyageurs étaient respectueux et après une journée de visite on s'endort très facilement!!...

Prima locatie, Sint Pietersplein is circa 5 minuten lopen. Het appartement wordt door de eigenaar goed onderhouden en schoongemaakt. Er kan gebruik worden gemaakt van een mooi groot terras en van een keukentje.

Alles rondom het bed en braekfast was super. Marino is een topvent en doet er alles aan om mensen het naar de zin te maken. We hebben ons hart niet alleen aan rome verloren maar ook aan Marino en vooral aan Cica, de liefdevolle hond. We komen zeker weten terug!!!! All around the bed and braekfast was super. Niets ten nadelen van het b & b maar we hadden mensen in het apartement die totaal geen respect hadden voor anderen. Ze maakten de boiler leeg zodat niemand warm kon douchen en waren luid in de nachtelijke uren bij hun aankomst zowel als bij het vertrek. Mensen houd gewoon een beetje rekening met elkaar, dat is voor allen fijn en dan maak je ook niet het b & b te schande... nothing to the detriment of the b & b but we had people in the apartment totally had no respect for others. They made the tank empty so no one could shower warm and loud in the night hours on arrival as well as upon departure. People just keep a little into each other, that is all fine and then you do not make the bed and breakfast to shame ... nulla a scapito del b & b ma abbiamo avuto persone in appartamento totalmente non avevano rispetto per gli altri. Hanno fatto il serbatoio vuoto in modo che nessuno potesse doccia calda e forte nelle ore di notte in arrivo e alla partenza. La gente semplicemente tenere un po 'l'uno nell'altro, che è tutto bene e poi non si fanno il bed and breakfast per la vergogna ...

приветливый хозяин встретил нас, посадил за стол, выдал карту рима и объяснил как передвигаться по городу на общественном транспорте. завтрак на следующее утро был очень обильном, да в последующие дни тоже) кофе варит сам, молоко греет) везде порядок, чисто, есть холодильник, микроволновка, чайник и чай. душ удобный, чистый, хозяин наводит там порядок каждое утро. на веранде, когда хорошая погода, очень приятно завтракать, да и просто сидеть в интернете. кстати, с вай-фай там все в порядке! расчет как наличными, так и безналом. очень комфортно для тех, кто не боится передвигаться по городу на большие расстояния)) Ватикан рядом, можно срезать дорогу домой от метро как раз через площадь Ватикана
