Friendly staff We booked superior room which had the windows towards front street (1st floor), directly above the fruit market. Fruit market was put up around 5am onwards with a lot of noise. Would not recommend to book rooms facing main entrance. |

It was chosen because of its location - close to Jewish facilities, especially on the Sabbath. In that regard, it was an excellent choice. The buffet breakfast was unexciting, considering the relatively high price (compared to other hotels) that we paid. |

Lovely location; room decor was charming and elegant; nice to have a real bread bun (not those dreadful sweet things they seem to serve all over Italy) for breakfast; staff was courteous and polite; price was good for Venice; sheets and towels were clean and room was quiet; good water pressure; Lovely hotel - very Venetian. The room had a slight urine smell to it at first. Perhaps a child had an 'accident' there at some time. Whenever we were in the room, we opened the windows and eventually the smell faded. The light on one side of the bed was gone - difficult for getting up at night or reading. |

We had breakfast included in the room rate and asked for room service to bring it in our room; the breakfast, although continental, was pretty cool - coffee, orange juice, yoghurt, honey, roasted bread, white bread, chocolate cream, etc. The staff was friendly and nice. Very good location - 2 minutes from the vaporetto station Guglie, 10 minutes from the commercial street Lista di Spagna. The room was decorated beautifully, in a typical Venetian style - with tapestry on the walls, golden mirror and some nice lamps. I've seen a spot on the tapestry on the walls. There was no view from the room, but the windows had old style shutters, thing which did the trick. ;) The standard room was really small, but it had everything one could need for a couple of nights close to the heart of Venice. |

Location in the centre of the town. Correct breakfast. No view from the room, only a wall in front of our windows. Our room was next to the breakfast room so unfortunately we were awaken by the noise . |
