De ligging was prima,goed te bereiken

Helaas was de kamer heel erg klein, daarmee was op internet toch iets anders voorgespiegeld. De airco stond uit maar bleef zoemen ook nadat het hotelpersoneel ernaar had gekeken. Wel was er een grote gemeenschappelijk hal, waar we prima gebruik van konden maken.

De locatie is goed tov de vervoersmogelijkheden en shoppen

Het ontbijt is zeeer matig, oude broodjes, 2e dag geen ruimte in ontbijtzaaltje, geen mogelijkheid om een gebakken of gekookt ei te vragen zoals veel europeanen willen.

Wij hebben niet genoten! We zijn zelf een dag eerder vertrokken. We waren ondergebracht op de zolderkamer. Zeven trappen omhoog met zware koffers. Alles was oud, de tv deed het niet.Gewoonweg een vreselijk slecht hotel. En zeker als je meer dan 260euro per nacht moet betalen. Gewoon schande dat dit nog mag in deze tijd. Maar ja,ze zullen toch wel altijd vol zitten in Venetie! De badkamer had een douche van 50 bij 50 cm, het plafond was er 1,80m! Ik vraag me dan echt af waar de 3 sterren vandaan komen. Als je binnenkomt moet je eerst nog een paal ontwijken! We hebben daar aangegeven wat we er van vonden,helaas zonder resultaat. Ik denk ook niet dat er ook ooit iets gaat veranderen.We hebben zelf honderden overnachtingen gedaan,maar dit slaat echt alles! Een afrader eerste klas.

Staff has no idea of what customer service is! They were very sour and disrespectful in two different occasions! Worst experience in Venice!

Good spacious room.

No lift. Had to carry all the heavy luggage up the 8-10 flights of stairs. Staircase is extremely narrow for comfort.

About 10min walk from trains station. Nicely decorated room, new and very clean. Breakfast was good.

We found out the hotel price had lowered 4 days prior than our check-in day, we send an email to booking.com and ask if it possible to have a better price due to its lowest price guarantee. Booking.com confirm us that we can have the better offer, but the hotel owner was definitely not happy with it, he even tried to cancel our booking by saying our credit card was not valid, but in the end, we can still check-in and got our offer. Anyhow, next time I won't bother and will cancel and rebook myself.

For the price, the hotel was a nice surprise as the rooms were really comfortable, with good decoration and amenities. They were spacious, tv included some channels in other languages. Breakfast was excellent and the bathroom was of a good size. The other thing I liked about this hotel is that it is very close to the central train station (10 minute walk) and you can carry your bags versus having to load them in a vaporetto ($$) or taxi ($$$) and then still have to walk. And at the same time it is very close to many restaurants, shops and a vaporetto stop.

In the understanding buildings have stood in the very same place for years and you cannot get all modern comfort (unless you are willing to pay for it) and in the context of having fun in great Venice I give the following comments: most rooms are at an annex next door, so you must come in and out every time you enter/leave the room, even for breakfast. Internet could only be accessed in the common space which used to be the old reception in the annex. Breakfast room is really, really small. The hotel was not fully booked and all tables were occupied on a double string of tables. To move from your table to the breakfast buffet you must dodge chairs and guests sitting or coming the other way. I cannot imagine in high season. Although already advised in many reviews there is a real early wake up call when the market stalls accross are set very early in the morning (around 5 or 6 am). So make your best to walk a lot around so you sleep like a log.

Good location, room facilities and services. I like this hotel the most in my 9 days trip in europe.

Chiose this hotel for its location in Cannaregio, an area wehere Venetians still live and work. Lots of shops and restaurants that do not cater only to tourists. Plus it is near to station, so can can drop off your suitcase and go out... Staff are friendly, rooms have everything you need and the breakfast is generous by Italian standards. Only quibble would be for noise sensitive travellers to ask for a room at the back as it is on the main strip to Rialto, so not quiet. Otherwise would definitely stay here again.

It was a decent hotel and the breakfast was ok. Bathroom was very clean and hot was available in plenty

Room was a little crammed .. But Venice itself is a place with not much free space and I think most hotels would be the same
