The location was quite good, just a couple of blocks from the vaporetto that takes you to the airport and the train station, and 15 minutes walking from San Marco. The staff was great and the breakfast, delicious! Our room was extra spacious, clean and tidy. We loved it and I'm sure we will be back!

Alloggi Barbaria is 10 minutes' walk from St. Mark's Square. It is ideal for visiting Venice Lagoon's islands at only 1476 feet from the Fondamenta Nuove dock. Breakfast is served on the terrace in summer. Rooms are simply furnished and located on the first floor of a building from the 1940s with no elevator. Each one is air conditioned, and features a TV and private bathroom. Some rooms have satellite TV channels and free Wi-Fi, which is also available in public areas. A sweet Italian breakfast is served each morning. It includes jam, bread, mini packaged cakes and hot drinks. Located in the Castello district, Barbaria Alloggi is near the Ospedale water-bus stop, with links to the train station, the bus terminus, and the airport.
