Center of Florence is only a ten minute walk away. Great safe location and free parking in front of the apartment. Shops and restaurants in the surrounding area and no noise from the street.
First of all the guys that run this place are very friendly and cool. They were there at the door when we arrived (we arranged the time through sms), Francesco showed us the apartment and everything we needed to know about nearby places for food, shopping, bars.. Apartment was clean and beds were fine. It was big enough for 4 people, but the ideal is for 3 people. Jiacobino square is right out of your door and you can take a quick espresso and breakfast at Marco's cafe. There is a very good pizzeria on the same street. A walk to the city center was about 20 minutes. I couldn't ask anything more from this place. Excellent
Parking it's a general problem in Florence and few times we had to park few blocks away from the apartment
very good location, walking distance to city centre and station. Owners lovely couple , very helpful. New, clean and lovely courtyard for sitting in at night. Best bit was 20m walk to wine shop that had wine on tap to fill your own - it was lovely wine for a few euros.
The apartment is very close to a busstop from which 4 buses go into the city. The unit is well equipped and it is nice to have breakfast outside in the morning sun.
The apartment was hard to get to with the one direction system in Florence and hard to find. The outside appearance is an ordinary door in a normal street and the owner was not there when we arrived since they do not live there. Fortunately I had a mobile phone and the owner arrived very quickly. There is no toilet for the upstairs sitting and bedroom.
Comfortable, close to center
Mosquitos, some problems with plumbery and cleaning
Comfortable beds, clean and modern. Not far from the centre of Florence. Staff were very helpful and friendly.
Wifi didn't always work
Nice apartment and nearby center location with good bus connection (daily family ticket 6€). It was great to have good air condition and machine to wash clothes. The apartment is well designed by owners and was practical to us. It was clean and modern.
Everything was fine! Thank you!
We liked being a bit away from the city centre in an authentic Italian neighbourhood. Plenty of space for 4 people.
The wi-fi was a bit testy
Alloggi Palmini is the best apartment we ever stayed. It's very big, clean with everything you need. We felt very lucky to book it! We stayed there 3 nights and would rather to stay even longer. The apartment host Milco is a great man. He showed me nearby bus station, restaurants, fruit shop, bread shop etc. We can find good pizza, Turkey Kebba, fresh fruits and even fresh sea food in the nearby corner! This apartment is very special and worth for every euro you pay. We would recommend it to our friends and book it if we have chance to visit Florence again.
We enjoyed everything!
Very comfortable apartment. Friendly owner very happy to help. Bottle of wine was a nice touch. It was great to stay out of central Florence on this occasion, and enjoy a few days in suburban Florence, including the supermarkets and local restaurants frequented almost entirely by Italians.
The kitchen could be better equipped with pans, utensils etc. Some basic food would also be very helpful eg olive oil, bread, salt, and preferable to the bottle of wine really. And watch out for the mosquitoes in summer - they somehow find a way into the apartment even with doors/windows closed so either bring or ask for repellant!
Nice, comfortable, quite accommodation. All kind of shops around. We recommend it!
This was a very special place to stay. Only a little bit outside the historic centre but close enough to easily walk to it. Also well connected by buses. It was nice to stay in a real neighbourhood away from the tourist areas. The accommodation was fantastic with the added bonus of the outside sitting area. The owner was very welcoming and helpful. When we return to Florence we will stay there again.
Perfect location, friendly and helpful staff. Ask them where to go for quality and good meals, they know their places.
Good Value for money, Beautiful Apartment! spacious & Clean - He gave us a free bottle of wine as we were on honeymoon!
This was a wonderful, self contained apartment that was in a quaint neighborhood with grocery store, restaurants and coffee houses close at hand. Transportation was available on the many buses that came in and out of the neighborhood heading toward the old part of the city. There is also a nice interior courtyard with tables and chairs where you could eat and socialize. There was a washing machine in the apartment which made dealing with laundry very easy and convenient.
There were no real negatives to staying at Alloggi Palmini. It was very convenient and quiet. It is a bit of a distance, but still totally possible to walk to the center city. The buses however, make that trip very easy and quick.
Everything is great and would recommend for a stay
The quilt is slightly thick for the summer time.
Excellent facilities and superb and friendly staff. We even got help to recover a Kindle left behind.
Difficult to park outside, but we managed "the Italian way".
Apartment and facilities got a "just new" feeling to them, everything is spotless. Helpful host proving the details to the surroundings and how to get into town.
Nothing, all was perfect.
Great place to stay! Lovely apartment with everything you could need. Only 10-15mins walk from the train station. The square 1 minute away from the apartments has a great bar, restaurant and shops. Would definitely like to stay here again.
Everything was fine. A very convenient and nice apartment not far from the main city sights. It was a great stay, thank you!
Some repairs were being done in the ajacent apartments, but it didn't bother us too mucn.
Everything was nice, the apartment, the location close to the train and bus station, the proximity of restaurants and our place for working.
Location was in a nice area a reasonable walk to the historic centre. Great shared courtyard. Clean with reasonable use of the available space.
No Parking although advertised. Noisy from others in building and a lack of sound insulation. WIFI was extremely poor and dropped out. TV reception was poor, not watchable at times. Kitchen had minimal utensils.
FRIENDLY PEOPLE AND NICE PLACE, PERFECT FOR TAKE A REST.
The apartment was excellent. There was everything we needed. Milco was great. He gave us very useful information about the city and the neighbourhood: where to buy things and where to eat (don't miss the pizzeria on the nearby square!). He also left us a bottle of delicious Chianti wine as a present.
Internet connection was slow sometimes. Som eof the streets in the quarter have almost no sidewalks, and most of the Italians are crzy drivers ;)
