Maria's friendliness and hospitality
Clean, warm room, well kept every day. Good bed, good shower, clean and with soap and shampoo.
Breakfast was very disapointing. Coffee was good, but the plastic wrapped, factory made bread and jams were cheap and tragic. With a fresh bakery down the street: why not supply your guests with fresh bread? is that really so much trouble? A housekeeper that speaks no English at all in a tourist city like Venice? Very complicating.
The bedroom was nicely furnished with lovely painted designs everywhere. Wood beam ceiling. Nice bathroom and a shower with jet streams.
There was nothing we didn't like!!
clean, nice location
No lift , no wifi , staff can't speak English.
Excellent location, the lady who runs it is very friendly, and the place is nice.
Clean, comfy, very helpful hostess, great breakfast coffee, close to good local reasonably priced restaurants with friendly staff Thank you
Small room up stairs if you have heavy luggage
The location was in a less touristy part of town, which meant wonderful food and experiences for less money (but still very easy to access everything else). The facilities were excellent, and the woman who worked there was very friendly and helpful.
Stairs only - we didn't mind, and this is very common in Europe, but if you're carrying a lot of luggage or struggle with stairs it's good to know.
Best water pressure we had in Italy. Albeit a very small shower...the pressure was great. We also thought, Maria was charming. She speaks no English. But we got by. The supermarket a few doors down was a big bonus...great prices!
Location was really nice with a lot of entertainment and shops close to the hotel. The area felt very safe and being next to a canal felt very open and quiet during the night. The owner was extremely helpful and was a great host.
Breakfast was slightly lacing but close by there were some excellent coffee shops.
Great hospitality, very clean, make sure to not over pack because the walk is a killer..
Clean Good price for location Location
The lady doesn't know english, but it won't be much problem
The location was excellent. I found Cannaregio to be my favourite part of Venice, much more relaxed and less touristy than the centre, and with some really nice, casual bars.
It was quite noisy in the morning, so I tended to get woken up around 8am.
Amazing location and service!
Great enthusiastic staff Nice Venetian style Clean rooms
Walk to San Marco is about 30/40 min, but worthwhile
Very well located in a quiet neighborhood. Excellent room with an awesome shower. Very nice aad helpful owner. Would choose to stay here again in a heartbeat
Shower floods bathroom!
perfectly located in getto. not so many turists. perfect for a quiet stay in venice, also during high season times.
10-15 mins walk from Venice S. Lusia Train Station, easy to find if you've googled the map before you go there. Staff is nice. Room is well-decorated and breakfast served in the room. Bakery, restaurant and supermarket located beside hotel.
No wifi and no lift. Not recommend for travellers who have large luggages, even the male staff is so nice to help out in moving our luggages. It's a building only with bedrooms, no any facilities.
Very clean Brand new bathroom TV with BBC world Friendly landlady location - close to some great authentic bars, coffee shops and bakeries
Can be a tiny bit noisy
Location was very good and owner of hotel very sweet lady .
Mattress and pillows could have been more comfy but ok
nice room, but a little bit tiny. Really hot place, but good air conditioning system. The tv only have italian channels, so you won`t be able to now anything about the rest of the world. Nice lady and honest!!
The breakfast needs improvements...everything comes in a box..the croissant, the jam..etc. We need home made italian food!!. The reception or entry smells funny... we believe it was the cleaning liquids..:)
Beds a little narrow and no internet but to be fair we booked that knowing there was none..the lady was lovely but didn't speak any English and breakfast was very basic but good value for money as Venice is expensive.
Close to ferry station
A little bit inconvenient for staff cannot speak English
good location. If you arrive at the VCE airport with heavy luggages, get to the linea arancio to save some walking. We arrived in heavy rain and took off at Madonna dell orto and only climbed two bridges, which was wonderful (but several dollars more).
The kind lady doesnt speak English, although it doesnt matter a lot.
The room was in a wonderful location, well-decorated and the staff was very welcoming.
Very hard matresses
