Amazing location and service!
Great enthusiastic staff Nice Venetian style Clean rooms
Walk to San Marco is about 30/40 min, but worthwhile
Very well located in a quiet neighborhood. Excellent room with an awesome shower. Very nice aad helpful owner. Would choose to stay here again in a heartbeat
Shower floods bathroom!
perfectly located in getto. not so many turists. perfect for a quiet stay in venice, also during high season times.
10-15 mins walk from Venice S. Lusia Train Station, easy to find if you've googled the map before you go there. Staff is nice. Room is well-decorated and breakfast served in the room. Bakery, restaurant and supermarket located beside hotel.
No wifi and no lift. Not recommend for travellers who have large luggages, even the male staff is so nice to help out in moving our luggages. It's a building only with bedrooms, no any facilities.
Very clean Brand new bathroom TV with BBC world Friendly landlady location - close to some great authentic bars, coffee shops and bakeries
Can be a tiny bit noisy
Location was very good and owner of hotel very sweet lady .
Mattress and pillows could have been more comfy but ok
nice room, but a little bit tiny. Really hot place, but good air conditioning system. The tv only have italian channels, so you won`t be able to now anything about the rest of the world. Nice lady and honest!!
The breakfast needs improvements...everything comes in a box..the croissant, the jam..etc. We need home made italian food!!. The reception or entry smells funny... we believe it was the cleaning liquids..:)
Beds a little narrow and no internet but to be fair we booked that knowing there was none..the lady was lovely but didn't speak any English and breakfast was very basic but good value for money as Venice is expensive.
Close to ferry station
A little bit inconvenient for staff cannot speak English
good location. If you arrive at the VCE airport with heavy luggages, get to the linea arancio to save some walking. We arrived in heavy rain and took off at Madonna dell orto and only climbed two bridges, which was wonderful (but several dollars more).
The kind lady doesnt speak English, although it doesnt matter a lot.
The room was in a wonderful location, well-decorated and the staff was very welcoming.
Very hard matresses
Close to rail station and Orto port, easy to take water bus to Murano and Burano. Excellent facilities, very comfortable.
Satff cannot speak English a little. Breakfast not good.
relaxing place to stay, well located in Canareggio, friendly and helpful owner. Comfortable bed and very nice shower with water jets. I would certainly stay again.
This is lovely little B&B run by an Italian lady who lives there. The bedroom and ensuite are very clean and fresh. It is well situated not too far from the train station nice little bars locally
Very good coffee but packaged croissants and toast disappointing
The only staff is an Italian woman who olny speaks Italian but we didn't feel any problem. Th facility was all renewed and we really enjoyed our stay. We want to stay here again at next visit.
The location is perfect and the breakfast was served in the room, very nice clean hotel
It was a little bit expensive (but for Venice very good price).
Quiet, well appointed, efficient.
Room on the small side and rather dark. Breakdast was prepacked everything.
Lovely host. Location is great really near the train station.
Despite they could just speak Italian, the efforts to establish a communication was great. The owner noticed that we had 2 big luggages and kindly offered us a room on the first floor, as they don't have elevator. The room is lovely and renovated. According to the standards prices in Venice, this hotel is a very good option.
The breakfast was very poor, just 2 breads, one jelly and one butter, and also a cup of tea or coffee.
- VERY clean room/bathroom - Enough space in the room (by EU standards) - Nice bars & restaurants next door
- Identical set of 1 croissant and jams/honey/butter from a supermarket (!) + 1 cup of tea/coffee for breakfast - Very thin walls and floors - Relatively far from any public transportation (5-10 min walk up and down canal bridges - consider a water taxi if carrying lots of luggage)
Spotlessly clean rooms and bathroom decorated in a Venitian style. The owner was very helpful and the fact that we do not speak Italian and she spoke no English was not a problem. There are only 6 rooms and our family had 4 of them -all very similar. It is about a 20 minute walk to St. Mark's and just a few steps away froma variety of local bars. Breakfast, much discussed on here, was served in the room and was basic but if you know that before you go, it is not really a problem. Great value for money - we would stay here again.
The pillows! All mainland European hotels offer thin flat pillows and here was no exception.
The owner Maria is very helpful. She initially arranged us to stay at a higher floor but because of our huge luggages and the hotel is without elevator (mentioned in the description), she immediately offer to let us have the room on the first floor. She also suggest us how should we walk around Venice, which attractions should we visit and which kind of pass should we buy to save some money.
Before reaching the hotel, there are 2 bridges you will have to cross if you were to walk from Venezia S. Lucia Station. One of the bridge have ramp but it is with speed bumper and the other one is just stairs. Even if you decided to take water bus no. 1 towards Lido to shorten the walk needed, you will still have to cross the stairs only bridge.
