The people at the reception are quite helpful and considerate. The breakfast is quite good. It's quite near to the railway station so that we could make good use of our time for sightseeing. |

Excellent position! Good and enough breakfast. Unfortunatly, the heater doesn't work during our stay. The staff gave help to deal with this problem. Friendly. All hotel price in Venice is much higher than other cities in Italy. No lift. |

The location was ideal as it was near all modes of transport to help us get around the city with ease. No clean towels given, very noisy floorboards, the cost was much more than it should have been for the premises. No one was available at checkout. Eventually, staff were helpful but it took continual nagging. |

Well, as for conditions of Venice the hotel is was not expensive. The location is great, very close to the train station. The staff was really nice and helpful. The room was ok, although one thing was a bit scarry - the blood of killed mosquitos on the wall... |

Close to the train station. Breakfast was okay with yogurt and cereal available. Worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Awake all night killing mosquitoes. Room was so small, had to walk sideways to get around bed. Disgusting shared bathroom. |

Breakfast included and okay. Coffee good. Located very close to train station, water bus stop, and sites, but also on a quite street. No night noise. The AC was not working and it was still warm enough to make sleeping difficult at night (late September). We could not leave windows open because of mosquitoes. Was not as clean as it should have been; obvious dirt smudges on wall, some debris on floor. |

Clean, if simple, and very easy to find with a convenient location near the Venice train station and airport bus drop-off point. Also, amazingly quiet for a hotel so close to the Grand Canal. Breakfast includes caffes made made by a friendly staff. A very good value. A bit of an air-conditioning or other mechanical hum from outside the building all night, which got louder by morning. |

Staff we met were friendly and helpful. Able to leave luggage at hotel on last day and collect later. Good position regarding bus/rail/vaporettas. Good position for cafes/restaurants at night. Shared bathroom - a nightmare. No lift. Looks as though next door hotel has been acquired and the two hotels merged together. Chalk & Cheese comes to mind as the new section is of a much higher standard - bright and clean looking and worth the room rate. Compare this to the Rooms/landings/staircase etc in old part of hotel which looked very dingy, dirty and dark and in desperate need of redecoration cost of room overpriced. |

Excellent location 1 minute from the train station. Just off a lovely street with loads of nice restaurants and shops. Within walking distance of the main attractions. Our room had a balcony which was great. We were sharing a bathroom and there were two on our floor which were always free when we needed them, they were also always clean. Rooms were cleaned well every day with fresh towels provided. The breakfast was fine, nothing fancy but adequate all the same. As with other guests I also got bit with mosquitoes but this was my fault for leaving the balcony door open as the Air Con worked fine. |

The staff was exceedingly pleasant and helpful, going far beyond what is expected for folks manning the desk at a hotel. Only one small fridge for 7 rooms. No one manning the desk after 6pm. |

The location was great but there were no views. Let's see...no hot water (not a drop), breakfast was terrible, no tv in the rooms, have to leave your key at the front desk every time you leave the hotel. |

Very helpful and friend staff. Facilites are basic but very clean. Location is excellent, steps from the train station and the free breakfast is a great bonus! For the budget traveler that is looking for a basic place to stay in Venice, I recommend it. |

The staff was nice and the people were very polite. The bed was horrible and lumpy, mosquitoes everywhere, the breakfast was small and pathetic and always out of something-only one coffee per person. |
