The best thing about this hotel was the location. The shower was poor. The bed was uncomfortable. We had to ask for towels. |

The room was very clean and comfortable. When approached the staff were very helpful. The breakfast was very nice and there was always plenty of food whatever time you came down. The location was fantasitic for getting to the airport and for catching the water buses around Venice, also there were lots of reasonable retaurants and bars close by. On occassions the toilets did get blocked particularly in the mornings when everyone was using the facilities. However when we returned in the afternoons the staff had fixed the toilets and the bathrooms had been cleaned. |

The hotel has a great location, a short walking distance from the main railway station. My room had air conditioning which was good for my stay in Venice when the temps were 34 in the day. The hotel is comfortable but nothing special, e.g. the breakfast was rudimentary. My room was on the ground floor but I overheard dismayed guests being told on check-in that their rooms were on the 3rd floor and that there was no lift. |

Very convenient location for those getting off cruise ships - you can actually walk from the ship to the hotel. Very close to Santa Lucia train station and to the bus stops for the airport. A bit too generic but ok |

the staff were very helpful and kind, especially when i need a doctor to come and see me. They all speak good english, so language is not a problem. the rooms are clean and so are the towels. It is just off one of the canals and very near the train station. the bathrooms were quite clean. it is on the outskirts of venice as such a long walk to go to piazza san marco. there is no lift in the building and the steps are quite high. It is a problem for disabled people like me or older people. I think for the type of hotel it was expensive, but then venice is allover expensive. Breakfast could be better organised and maybe include some toast and sliced bread and also some ham. |

Amazing value in the best possible location. This hotel is steps away from the train station and in a city like Venice that is invaluable. You go to Venice to get lost in the magic but you really don't want to do that with your luggage in tow. The included continental breakfast is great! Fabulous coffee and fresh coissants plus more. The walls are a little thin but there is nothing you can do about that. |

It was very close to the train station, but I could not hear the trains. A good distance from the really touristy area around St. Mark's. The room was sweet, the bathroom large with bidet, towel warmer, hair dryer, nice shower. Breakfast was fine (if you come early, you don't miss the yogurt). Cappuchino made for you. Right near the Scalza bridge. Great places to walk. Could hear other guests through the walls. Noisy on the street also (high school kids walking to school, church bells). |

Breakfast and location was good The walls are paper thin and you could hear everyone walking up and down the stairs and in the corridor. There was also a generator running outside our room which was really loud during the night. At 7 in the morning the staff also started shouting to each other outside our door. Overall we did not sleep well. |

I liked the convenience of the continental breakfast. The variety was good. The manager was most helpful letting me use a computer to find information on the tours I had purchased prior to my travel. There is a problem with shower spray on the floors in the shared bathrooms. It is always cleaned up in the morning. |

This was the worst hotel my husband and I have ever stayed at. When it comes to sanitization and comfort, this hotel was downright awful. Thin walls, dirty floors and bathrooms, spiders and mosquitos in the rooms (my husband has bites everywhere), the hotel requires a $10 deposit for you to use the remote for the TV—for as much money as we spent on the room, they should trust us with their remote! |

The location was very central. About a 5 minute walk from the Venezia station. Staff alright. Breakfast a plus (though not too many choices, very basic) There were 3 of us in 1 room w/ bathroom and both the room and the ensuite bathroom was really small. 3 ppl could not get ready at the same time without running into each other. Walls were paper thin too, we were lucky there were no loud ppl until final night. But then again, you only go to the hotel just to sleep. Venice hotels are really expensive so watch out. |

Location near train station. I booked a room with shared bathroom however I was given a room with ensuite at no extra charge. Balcony. Friendly & helpful staff. Lack of a lift, especially since I was staying on the 4th floor. |

Location - it is close to everything, but yet away from the busi San Marco square. There are good restaurants in the nearby. Check out their neighbours - good food for cheap! They can improve the breakfast. Elderly people will not appreciate the four floors up..... |
