Alma De Roma

The Staff were excellent; breakfast every morning was very good, and they made available 24/7 in the kitchen snacks and things to drink for free.

The only thing that bothered me was the fact that my bathroom was not in my room. I had to leave my room and walk down the hallway to my bathroom. The bathroom was locked and I was given a key.

Excellent service attitude and friendliness of the people running the hotel; clean and nice room; more like a home feeling than a hotel.

Otherwise nice and well-served breakfast could be enhanced with cheese and/or ham.

Stayed in 6 hotels while in Europe this trip and this was the best by far!! Best (full sized) shower, best bed and pillows, friendliest staff(!!), best breakfast. Wished we could have found more like this one. The owners made us feel like family. Good location (not the best), but you're in Europe! Walk! Stay here.

Good hotel

It was a very welcoming experience and we were pleasantly surprised with the size of the room and in-room washroom. Great location (only 5 minutes to Termini) and many amenities nearby. The terrace is a perfect place to wind down after a long days of walking around Rome. The BEST cappuccino we had in Italy along with tasty bread and pastries for breakfast.

The water pressure was a bit irregular.

Alma has a very good breakfast in a very nice terace. The hotel was very quite and clean. We rent a motocycle very near of the Alma to visit Rome.

Breakfast at the terrace with good bread, nice cappuccinos and welcoming staff/owners make you feel home.

An improvement in shampoo and soap would be appreciated. No internet.

Considerate hosts, pleasant atmosphere, a decent breakfast on a nice rooftop terrace all enhanced the clean, comfortable accommodations. Very convenient to train, buses and subway. A good family restaurant in the same building.

It was hard to find as it turned out to be on 5th floor of a building. with no signage anywhere. The room was basic and clean, with no TV but a nice bathroom. The B&B is family run and all the members of the family were very kind and helpful Breakfast is basic but, then again,. in Rome, with accommodation so expensive, one cannot expect much more when paying under 100 Euros for a night. It is verty close to the central train station which was our priority and, as such, we would stay there again should we need quick access to the trains.

No signage and as such difficult to find.

Very nice bed & breakfast with great service of the owner and his family. Beautiful roof terrace for breakfast when weather is nice. There is also a small breakfast area inside. The room had a comfortable bed and clean bathroom. All furnishings were new. The curtain of the roof window let through lots of light, but the owner changed it for us immediately to a darker version (very kind!). He also told us that he will soon place black-out curtains in all rooms. We slept very well. It was quiet during the night, especially when you realise you' are in the centre of Rome (5 minutes from Termini train station). Breakfast was tasty too with fresh fruit, bread, cake, sweet croissants, jam, fruit juice,thee and cappuccino.

There was no TV or internet. For us this was not a problem at all. Besides, there was an internet cafe just around the corner when you walk in the direction of Termini.

Very nice accommodation, nice staff and location.

The owners are very nice people, helping you a lot with tips of places to go around Rome. The breakfast was very nice, simple but large and the owners are there all time with a smile.

Since it is attic the roof is very low in some rooms and it is quite uncomfortable to walk on it, you have to be very careful with your head, I hit myself very hard ... not nice ... but if you are careful, the room is fine.
