Alma di Alghero Hotel  

The staff at the hotel was wonderful. Everyone was very helpful amd friendly. I really liked that they have a courtsey room for you to shower and freshen up in on your day of departure if you have already checked out. This hotel is also really close to everything. The beach is right across the street, only 15 mins to the Old Town and there is a grocery store onlu about a 10 min walk away.

The staff were very friendly and helpful; the room was nice and air-conditioned; the shower was very nice; the bed was comfortable; the safe was free to use; we had a nice balcony.

Hotel is very nice, personal staff are very friendly and helpfull, breakfast also very good... We recommend hotel alma Di Alghero :)))

The location was perfect, right next to the water and easy walking distance to the old town for dinnor and shopping or to the nicer beaches.

The breakfast was okay and the people in the restaurant were nice, but I was hoping for more.

The hotel is in a great location. Right beside the sea and only a fifteen minute walk into the old town. The staff were really friendly and helpful, particularly one of the ladies (I think she was German). The rooms were great - really big with huge comfy beds which were very comfortable. There were nice touches like bowls of fresh fruit left in the bedrooms and also, l'Occitane toiletries in the bathroom, which was much appreciated. Both bathroom and bedroom were spotless. We loved this place and would absolutely recommend to anyone visiting Alghero.

My only quibble was the breakfast - it was pretty poor quality and completely tasteless, and the coffee was from a machine. In a city of amazing coffee, that was a little disappointing. But apart from that, this place was fantastic.

I was very happy with the stay in this hotel. Alexandra- one of the staff, did help us as I was searching for an agency which makes trips to la Maddalena (amazing!!!) and I did not find any but she did and so made our trip to Sardegna even more beautiful. The hotel was very clean and very comfortable.

It´s a pity that every morning there was the same food to eat. Even if tasty, I would prefer some variation. And it would be fine if we had even the dinner because eating out in Italy is really costy.

Very friendly staff. Great location only 100 meters from the beach. About 15 min walk to the old town. Great balcony with sea view. Clean rooms!

The beds were hard. And the breakfast was only OK. Some of the food was always finished, for example there were no eggs on any of the five days we were there. We had breakfast early in the morning, but the staff told us it was finished. Same with orange juice.

The location is great - really few steps from the beach. The staff at reception was always very helpful and tried to make our stay as nice as possible. Every day they give fruits(or they knock the door Nd give u the plate with somefruits, or u ll find it in your room after cleaning)

Breakfast was too basic. I think for this price they should make the breakfast more attractive. At breakfast you can meet both polite staff and quite shameless persons, but if any problem - just inform the staff at reception , because they really care about the reputation of the hotel.

Ths staff were extremely friendly, especially Carla. The location is very good, the beach is five minutes away plus the shops and restaurants of the old town is about 20 minutes. Great family atmosphere and the Sardinians are very warm people.

The hotel was very noisy. There is not much sound proofing. However, I think that is the standard in Italy too.

The Alma di Alghero is only a 15 minute taxi trip from the airport, with the beach just across the road in front of the hotel, and the Old Town within an easy walk. I strolled there slowly because it was warm, and was there in about 20 minutes. It would only be a 10 minute walk at my normal walking pace. Breakfast was a buffet with a wide selection of food to choose from, and with very good coffee as well as a selection of teas, including green tea (which I find hard to get, sometimes, when I'm away from home.) There were 2 supermarkets within a 10 minute walk from the hotel, and the Receptionist gave me very good, clear directions for how to find them, so I was able to buy food for picnic lunches. It was great to have free Wi-Fi, I could surf the net, look at YouTube videos, listen to music, and get my emails. The bedroom was spacious, with plenty of wardrobe and drawer space, and a nice little balcony. The shower always had hot water and the water pressure was excellent. The cleaners did an excellent job every day, and were friendly and very nice when I occasionally met them. All the hotel staff were really nice: courteous, friendly and helpful, I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends.

I would have liked to have a kettle in the room so that I could make my own tea. I like to have tea several times during the day, not just at breakfast. If I go to this hotel again, I'll pack a small kettle.

Every day we had cleaners who not only did the bed but also tidy up the whole room. The staff was extremely polite and helpful with finding ourselves around. There was always a parking space for our car and the hotel location was very convenient as well.

Although we had cleaners I found the floor a bit dirty (sticky.) the breakfast wasn't that nice, they did not consider vegetarians and I ended up eating cornflakes for 4 days (which I was sick of after the second day!). The hotel itself had a weird smell but overall it was good for beach holiday as we were out all day and only returning to the hotel to sleep.

The quality of the beds in the rooms; we had one room for 3 where one bed was missing half the support lats under the mattress and one bedroom for 2 where the armchair was missing the support under the cushion.... it would only need a small investment, a pity.....

Gutes Früchstück, super Lage, 10 Gehminuten zur Altstadt

hyggelig og rolig hotell, med god beliggenhet; kort veg til strand og kun 15 min spasertur til gamlebyen. Kjempehyggelig og serviceinnstilt personale. Romslige familievennlige rom.

God beliggenhed, tæt på stranden og kort gang til den gamle bydel.

Veldig sentralt i forhold til stranden og gamlebyen. Rolig, lå litt tilbaketrukket fra veien. Lyst, stort rom som ble godt rengjort hver dag. Hyggelig og hjelpsomt personal.

Litt trist med frokostsal i kjelleren og litt kjedelig frokost.

Dicht bij het strand. Nette kamers, klein balkon met zijzicht op de zee. Het ontbijt is OK . Een korte wandeling langs het water tot het mooie centrum van Alghero. Belangrijk is dat de weg naar het centrum erg veilig is, ook als je 's avonds laat terugkeert. Winkelen doe je liefst vóór 19u30, de winkels die laat openblijven zijn erg duur. De restaurants in het centrum vallen erg tegen, zelfs hun pizza's. Restaurant Dabs, gelegen dicht bij het hotel, is een aanrader. Erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel, bedankt hiervoor.

Wil je een goede nachtrust, muggenmelk niet vergeten !

Le rapport qualité / prix excellent suite semble-t-il à des prix bien négociés! Salle de bain soignée, notamment douche spacieuse et confortable ! Petit déjeuner très correct ! Professionnalisme du personnel !

Parking payant ! Hôtel manquant de chaleur humaine !

Het ontbijt. Elke dag dezelfde broodjes, het zelfde eentonige beleg.

L accueil le sérieux et la gentillesse du personnel sont très appréciable surtout quand vous parlez très peu la langue

Ubicación aceptable, a unos 15 min del puerto y casco antiguo. Playa frente al hotel .

Habitación con mobiliario muy limitado e incómodo( mi colchón acusaba en el centro el peso de los años ). Baño muy pequeño y antiguo al que le hacia falta mantenimiento. El hotel no dispone de cocina propia y ,aunque pretenden ofrecer un buffet amplio y variado, a las 9,30 h escasea tanto dulce como salado; por cierto, la pasteleria industrial y de mala calidad. No encontré lo que se publicitada, las fotos superan en mucho a la realidad. El personal es, en general, muy justito

La pulizia della camera e la cortesia del personale

L'Hotel non è provvisto di camere con vista mare, e questo può essere un motivo di preferenza verso altri hotel in futuro, anche perchè mi pare che nel sito di Alma non sia specificata chiaramente l'assenza di camere con vista mare. Ciò nonostante, la posizione è ottima. Ciò che non mi è per niente piaciuta è l'insonorizzazione delle camere (almeno la mia, la N.204). infatti io e la mia famiglia abbiamo riposato si e no per circa 2 o 3 ore al massimo durante la notte, a causa del rumore continuo e fastidioso dell'impianto idrico, dovuto alle continue docce dei vicini. Il motivo del rumore, probabilmente è dovuto al fatto che le pareti dei bagni sono costruite in cartongesso (grave errore !), e forse anche qualche parete di separazione fra le camere.
