Residenza Grisostomo  

Hemos tenido muy mala experiencia en el Hotel Al Lion Morosini en Venecia. Nos dieron una habitación horrible y se habían cobrado 748 euros de los 7 dias de estancia por adelantado. Estábamos en sus manos, podían hacer lo que quisieran. Uno de los días no tenían pan ni bollos un día para desayunar. Me han parecido unos ladrones auténticos. La habitación estaba en un edificio muy viejo. Los cristales de las ventanas muy sucios. El baño se encharcaba. Nos dieron al final una habitación con baño compartido y no nos devolvieron el dinero por la de con baño incluido. Por favor, no lo elijais como hotel. No quiero que nadie repita esta mala experiencia. La llave de la habitación abría todas las demas habitaciones y todas servían para abrir el cuarto de baño. Un horror de hotel como os digo.

La habitación no estaba en el hotel. Estaba en un edificio distinto. Me he llevado un desengaño enorme y me he sentido estafada totalmente.

Un lugar extremadamente cómodo y confortable, muy cerca del puente de rialto y con una atención excelente.

Quedaba muy cerca del Rialto. Aunque te pierdas en Venecia (uno de los grandes placeres en esa ciudad) siempre hay carteles que indican cómo llegar al Rialto.

La habitación había sido separada de otra estancia por una sivisiónd e madera forrada en tela, y del otro lado funcionaba una oficina, así que la privacía era escasa. El desayuno no era muy rico. El colchón medio hundido y la pared llena de cadáveres de mosquitos aplastados (puaj)

Nos encanto...el hotel es recomendable..nosotros estabamos en un anexo pero con todas las comodidades

The location was great although it was very difficult to find at first. We were within walking distance of St Marks Square and the Rialto Bridge. The decor of the room was quite grand and the room was very spacious.

The breakfast was very disappointing, definitely didn't feel like we got our moneys worth with that. The hotel isn't very well signed, we struggled to find it and had to ask another hotel receptionist to help us and even he didn't know where it was so he had to ring the B&B himself. The bad points wouldn't stop us from going again! Overall we enjoyed our stay very much.

we liked the stay very much, hotel stuff was very helpful. great location near Rialto bridge (just little difficult to find the building upon arrival), good price. breakfest is simple but Ok. sharing bathroom may not always be comfortable as it depends on other people as well. we would come to the hotel again if staying in Venice and would recommend it.

Great location - easy to be found (not always the case in Venice) just next to Realto Bridge ! Very cosy and comfortable, with "period" furniture and shining floors, high ceilings and spacy rooms, large bathroom, which makes you feel at home. Very, very nice staff. Free Wi- Fi ! It's very important, keeping in mind that some Internet-cafe's are charging 5eur for half an hour! We had to use Internet an evening after we checked out in the morning, and we were welcomed to do it - appreciated !

No view - just a wall in two meters, but after all we came to the hotel only to sleep !

Very good location near Rialto Bridge. The room had everything needed and it was quite clean. Even the hairdryer was there in the bathroom. Tiny & nice breakfast room with small canal view and warm croissants, nice staff.

It's very difficult to find (no signs on the main Cannaregio St. That towards the hotel) so if you are for the first time in Venice and you are not familiar with streets numbering it may be a problem as it was for us. Also on booking.com confirmation I got the address of Al Lion Morosini Residence (a set of rooms located 2 streets away from the main building) but no address of the main Al Lion Morosini building with the reception. At the place there also wasn't any info how to reach the main building. When you get to the area from train station direction (about 1,6 km) and you are passing the red church on left side, you have to look to the right for a red fire hydrant and turn right just there entering this very small street. The entrance is almost in the end of the street on the right side. At the Residence there was a problem with warm water in the bathroom - when too many people had shower in the morning there was not enough left for us (imagine getting shower in cold water!). The fridge would be useful and it was put in the room but it wasn’t work.

I did not like anything in that hotel. It was the worst hotel I had ever checked in. Bad staff, dirty rooms, and noisy place. We arrived and nobody was at the reception and we spent 1 hour looking for the staff. Then a chinese staff who cant speak english took us to a different building and give us a dirty room.

Beware!!!! This hotel is a rat hole. I don't know where to begin with. It has a good location near the Rialto bridge but you must search for it like 1 hour. It's like is intentionally hidden from visitors. Bad smell like living in a canal, the owner is Chinese and doesn't speak neither English or Italian, you can get with 5 euros a breakfast 100 times better than the one at the hotel, the toilette is 3 m2 etc. Beware, beware, beware!!!

Very good location, Staff helpful, Large Room, Clean

Location was great. Easy to find and easy to reach both Lafayette and Opera metro stations. Very central and safe location.

The room was small and bathroom was not clean. There was no minibar and A.C. There was maintenance at some parts of the hotel which we haven't been told before.
