Residenza Grisostomo

Il fatto che persino a Venezia si possano trascorrere 3 giorni spendendo una cifra abbordabile, soggiornando in pieno centro, in una residenza praticamente affacciata sul canal Grande, a 2 passi dal ponte di Rialto. Camera essenziale ma pulita e dotata d Tv lcd!

A due passi da rialto, arrivate facili a piedi dovunque

molti problemi: stanza rumorosa, senza wifi, colazione di mediocre qualita', adsetta alle pulizia di scortesia soprendente

Posizione strategica vicino a Rialto e a 5 minuti (piacevolissimi) a piedi da S. Marco. Posizione davvero ottima.

Colazione (non internazionale) servita in un corridoio che dà anche l'accesso ad un bagno condiviso da più camere.

Hard to find (I would recommend taking the water taxi to Rialto then it is only about a 2 block walk) Internet was in and out... but lets face it who cares.

The breakfast was a little too less for the price of the hotel, but we weren't hungry so not so bad afterall. After trying to take a relaxing warm shower in the evening there was no more hot water so instead of warming up I got frozen.

I liked the staff, and the room. It was perfect for the 2 nights we were there.

Great, central location close to the Rialto Bridge and St Mark's Square, with lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Although the staff were not completely fluent in English, they were friendly and very accommodating, providing us with a map and recommendations.

The price is OK for Venice. The room was nice and clean. The separate bathroom was clean as well. The staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast us more than you expect in Italy. Thank you!

It is very hard to find, because Google Maps is wrong. You have to take the little passage on the left side of the shoe shop.

LOTS OF BED BUGS... NOT OKAY!!! It is very inconvenient after the trip i over to discover that you have multiple bed-bug bites on you. The hassle is then cleaning everything one owns so nothing spreads. Quite disgusting. The place was very pleasant (until this discovery) and very well located.

Difficult to find but not too hard if you follow numbers.

Its good location for walking around the city, but its quite difficult to find it.

I didnt like russian staff. Not much comfortable for long staying

we didn't like to use the shared bathroom. it must be dedicated to each room. and also breakfast was poor.

I one lady who works there as a cleaner is very friendly andhelpfully. She woke us up 5 minutes before the breakfast time finnish so we didn't miss it.

I stayed there with 3 more friends we all would like do pay separatly by cash if we had chance but the owner give me my receipt after 10 min of my arrival with the total without ask me how We would like to pay. He also was rude when I ask to change. Also I ask 4 single beds and was 2 doubles I ask to change and he didn't understand or he doesn't want to understand... The mattress was terrible unconfortable and very hot room I couldn't sleep because of both reason! For sure I will never recommend this hotel.

Location is superb however really hard to find! Ask around when you get close. No sign in the street. Breakfast slightly better then ok.

When (if) you find it its ok, as always you get what you pay for.

Good location in the very center of Venice. Room was spatious and had nice old-style interior. Free Wi-Fi.

No a/c in the room, shared bathroom.

The shutters in the room close so that its pitch black inside the room, so you can sleep in. Location was good near Rialto Landmark and Vaporetto stops for water taxis no. 1 and 2. to most locations. There was a mini kitchen in the room with plates and knives and forks and a fridge to keep your food fresh. Lots of extra pillows in the cupboards.

Tv didn't work and displayed everything as green. Couldn't get the free WIFI to work on my bb. Room could have done with AIrcon, although it did have a fan. Door into and out of the apartments stuck, you had to kick/pull the door to open it once you had turned the key A city tax of E10 was charged cash ontop of bill, for 5 nights/dbl room. Continental breakfast included: automatic coffee etc, a hot roll and a sweet croissant. Little difficult to communicate with the manager as he only spoke Italian.

They took ten days before we go all the money from my credit card. And I talked with booking.com they said '' ok ,The money will be returned in some days'' But money never returned.I Reserved a twoo room,because there was our relative.Because '' Residenza Grisostomo'' took all the money on my credit card, I also paid the money for the other room too.Actually ,we decided to pay ,when we arrive to hotel,with cash. We couldn't find adress because they don't have any directions.I Think when they give a directions,they must say,for find the this place sould go in a dark hall of 70cm and aprox.12 M after when seen the light in a no way square turn right side you can see the wooden door, just on doorbell,( last one) there is a name of the Residenza... When we arrived there, reception in a secret room behind the mirror. You couldn't see anyone when you need. There were hairs on the sheets. Poor breakfast.Too expensive for a place of this quality.Just for backpackers.

Breakfast minimal. Coffee undrinkable and one tea bag to share between two people. Kept the price down !!
