Good location. And located at 3rd floor, but elevator is available. Enough choices at breakfast. Staff speaks English quite well.
Bathroom smelled awfull (maybe because of a problem?). Shower was not working: water temperature was switching from cold to hot and the other way round. That was hard to control. Next, it was impossible to fix the showerhead somewhere, so you had to hold it the whole time.
The location was very convenient and the staff very welcoming.
The room needed some pictures to make it more welcoming and suggest the bathroom is updated as some of the fittings were somewhat dated and noisy.
Location, close to the river and town centre.
Typical Italian breakfast: average white bread and a lot of biscuits and cakes, cold boiled eggs, unripe fruit...
The location was fine.
The hotel is really more like a pensione. No real lobby, one must enter in a courtyard, drag the bag up a few stairs, then struggle with the tiny elevator to go to the 3rd floor check in. Very strange. The people are not friendly or warm. My room and bed were small and so uncomfortable. The bed was awful. How anyone didn't write this before, (maybe they did and I missed it) but it's just not adequate. The hotel felt marginally clean. The breakfast wasn't great at all. average.
Very close to Piazza Vittorio Emanuele. There would be even available parking at the hotel, but I didn't know and so I didn't call to make a reservation. Extremely gentle staff.
Good location to main piazza and other places of interest. Excellent help from courteous staff, Pavel and Lucca. Lift for luggage very useful. Breakfast good.
Beds a little hard and woke up with sore backs. The glossy photos over rates the reality, but it still is quite suitable albeit a little aged now.
The staff. Breakfast. The location.
The moquette on the floor... so old... the two beds put together...
Great location, Great breakfast, Efficient staff, Supper clean!
The room was a bit noisy at night
Friendly staff, flexible check-out time, storage of luggage.
Limited parking (only with reservation), in the near area limited alternatives.
Everything else is good.
I think the 'caffe americano' for breakfast was made with instant coffee not coffee beans. Is that a standard expectation in Italy? It isn't in France. The lift (to the hotel, which starts on the 3rd floor) is antiquated but OK as long as you expect that.
Lady at reception was unwelcoming and said she could not ffind my name on the booking.com confirmation.
Being near centre of turin and close to local family (corsa cairoli) for a one or two night stay this was a nice small hotel reasonably priced
Furnishings were a little tired but a major renewal would bring higher prices.
+ ride up antique elevator to get to front door + location in town + modern room in old building + helpful staff + affordable parking near
- ride up antique elevator to get to front door - have to reserve parking, limited availability at hotel
Very central location Friendly staff
Very helpful staff.Everything.
The description of the hotel breakfast and the rating at Booking.com for it are not even close to the reality. Ok, the facilities are not so great, but at leaf the service during the breakfast should work. We had to ask twice before the coffee was served by a very bored girl who was chewing the gum all the time. Sorry to say, but probably next time we choose another hotel just because of the breakfast.
Friendly staff Very central in town Near beautiful square with terraces Good cappucino at breakfast
Smell of the room can be better Only Italian channels on tv Small showercabine
close to piazza vittorio veneto & mole antonelliana, and the historical city. very clean.
For what it was, it was a bit expensive. Almost got overcharged by the staff, who also managed book us twice and then chase us to pay for their own mistake. Or perhaps this was because of Booking.com, we don't know. Our room was very hot, and opening the windows was not an option due to the noise outside.
it s location and the friendly atmosphere
The graffiti when you arrive at the area round the hotel is a bit of a put off, and the coffee was not that good.
The hotel is located on a very central spot in the city.
The hotel is located near several cafés. Therefore it was extremely noisy in the rooms until 3/4 am. Furthermore the furniture in the room and bathroom was quite old (but clean!).
This is a charming, small hotel on the third and fourth floors of a classic Turin nineteenth-century town house. You enter through an old-fashioned elevator inserted into the stairwell. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was bright and pleasant, with tall French windows facing the street. The breakfast buffet was fine, simple Italian fare, no frills. The location is excellent, backing on to the River Po and just south of the Piazza Vittorio Veneto. I stayed for five days and would definitely go back.
Great location within walking distance to all main tourist attractions.Good choice breakfast.Very helpful staff ,especially Giorgia at reception. Will choose same hotel if in Turin again.
WE had a big room with a double bed and a single, two windows and a balcony ,but overlooking the main road and very noisy youngsters and noisy tram.
One of the best hotels I ever stayed in. Good location, clean ans spacious room, very helpful staff, excellent coffee at breakfast and an elevator you just have to see!
Well located hotel, just 300m from tourism sites
Too expensive for what it offers. Room standard is more a 2*, then 3*. Breakfast buffee is very modest (few pieces of cheese, salami and ham, few croissants, apple and orrange). Coffee is good though.
Awesome location near Piazza Vittorio Veneto that's central to great tourist and local sites. Fabulous character property with a quirky lift that's a fun ride, at least once! Super breakfast. Spacious and well appointed room. Accommodated our dogs with a reasonable charge. Helpful staff.
Parking was tight, but no worse than anywhere in Italy!
