The rooms were adequate. Breakfast was adequate. Close to the subway and train station The room had dust around the corner of the bed on the floors. Bathroom had no shelves to put any personal items on. The second night we were there the air conditioner was not working.

Close to Termini train station. Free wifi. Good continental breakfast. Quad room extremely small - not suitable for 4 people at all. Wished I had chosed other options. Too expensive. Walls not sound-proof, neighbours kept us awake.

Friendly, helpful staff. Good breakfast. Room clean and comfotable bed. Close to main station. Decor of room was drab/ shabby. I paid extra for a superior room but was very dissappointed with the standard of the room. Changed room after first night but it was only slightly better. Rooms need a refurbishment to be classed as four star superior. I was expecting a lot better for 230 euros a night!!

Walkable albeit quite a stretch to the main sites!roof garden bar was lovely to chill out on! Hotel quite sweet and very clean. The shower or lack of it - small bath tub with shower which you had to hold no curtain or place to hold it on wall!! Needed more staff and more seats in breakfast room.

Very clean room and modern bathroom. Comfortable foam bed with good white linen bedding. Great breakfast and friendly English speaking management. Small room, very limited storage space. We had to leave most of our stuff in our luggage. Air condition/ heating thermostat difficult to control. We couldn't put the heating on at night.

Great location, close to many restaurants and sight seeing hot spots. Modern rooms with great facilities. Fabulous breakfast buffet which was well stocked throughout the service. Wifi was weak in the rooms and much of the hotel.

Location. 10 min walking from Termini station. Hotel staff not very helpful. Very arrogant and difficult to get services from them ( specially at night). They speak English, but that didn't really help. Don't stay in the small double room. It is so small I almost felt like I was in a prison. Elevators are annoyingly small. I sayed in 4 star hotels in Venice, Florence, and Rome. While the other two were truly 4 star hotels, I am confused why Alpi has a 4 star rate.

Staff were friendly and accommodating. The room was a good size with excellent bathroom facilities. The location was great - not far from the train terminal. Would have liked for there to be seating in the courtyard.

Great staff... Very happy and helpful. Very nice room with quiet central courtyard. Good location. We walked to the Coloseum in 10 minutes. Supermarket located just 1/2 block away for wines and cheese or any other item. Rooms were well appointed, clean and new. No street noise could be heard with our interior room - just off the interior courtyard. I highly recommend this hotel. Compared to other hotels I think the price was a good value. Bring your own 220v to 110v converter. We burned out an expensive hair dryer. Rookie european traveller mistake.

Staff were lovely. The room and bathroom were fantastic. The bed was the comfiest we had had in Europe. We were only in Rome one night and needed something clost to the main Train Station. We were very happy with this hotel - everything form the bed to the breakfsat!

The gentlemen that checked us in was extremely nice and friendly giving us a city map straight away and insisting out luggage be brought to our room by a porter! We have never had a porter before!!! The shower leaked so badly on the bathroom floor we had to use all our towels to soak the water up after just one shower. They wouldn't allow us any breakfast before we left as we needed to leave 20 minutes before breakfast started. The rooms feel very dated.

The location was great. The male staff member at the front desk of Alpi hotel was extremely condecending and rude. Any request at all which we made, was turned down. Asking for a laundromat he told us they only had in house services even when they had the brochure for a laundromat on their counter (Which they had removed all of by the following day) - When asking for an Iron, he told us that Irons were banned in Rome and various other stupid responses. All in all, a bad experience.

Very comfortable and convenient for Termini, the railway station. Friendly staff Rome is full of good restaurants, but as a solo traveller it would be nice if the hotel offered some kind of evening meal on their roof top terrace - currently drinks only.
