the location was beautiful. overlooking a bridge and canal. it was easy to get to from piassa de la roma and s.l lucia station on foot. the breakfast room was very shoddy and the breakfast very average for the price of the hotel. the cofee was not up to the great standard of italian coffee. |

The hotel was situated in the heart of Venice. It was very picturesque and right next to one of the canals. We stayed on the 2nd floor and although the room was fine we were disturbed late at night and early in the morning by the sound of people walking across a wooden floor - our ceiling. |

The breakfast If our room was a superior room with a garden view, what was the classic? Superior is a stretch of the imagination. |

We had the loveliest stay at this hotel. The reception staff were very very helpful and arranged a private water taxi for us to get to our cruise boat. Breakfast facility in garden is lovely - view of canal. We had a room with soaring ceiling and a great view from the window onto the bridge over the canal. Loved Venice and loved Al Sole. A few mosquito bites - but this is probably because of the proximity to the canal. A small price to pay. |

Location excellent for nearness to transport. Quiet location. Disappointed room was not as pictured on your site, especially as it was a superior room. |

The kindness and courtesy of the staff and the excellence of the breakfasts. Also the free trip to Murano by water taxi arranged by the hotel plus the tour of the glassblowing area and the magnificent collection of glassware. The canal view was particularly delighful. I don't know if I read about a bird problem on your site or on Trip Adviser but this certainly has been solved with wire netting and the garden is now a lovely place to breakfast The beds and pillows could be a bit softer |

Very convenient to bus/rail staton. Both a cheap and cheerful restaurant and a good more upmarket restaurant almost next door - very handy. Hotel very quiet at night and good breakfast included in price. Room (103) was described as superior but was very small, with very limited storage space and dim lighting. OK for a few days stay and when you are out and about during the day and only really require a comfortable place to sleep! |

The location was excellent. By the side of a canal and although only a short walk from the Grand Canal and railway station, situated in a very quiet and relaxing part of Venice. Very comfortable room and excellent breakfast facilities in the garden. Very polite and helpful staff. Wish we could have stayed longer but we'll be back! |

The hotel itself was just wonderful. The area around the hotel was problably the most pleasant that we came across in all of Venice. |

I liked the antiquity of the original structure, and the fact that architects were able to preserve some of this, in the renovation and convertion to a hotel. Also the location was quite but excellent for travellers requiring railway or airport services. Did not have porters to handle baggage |

We had a superior room for the first time - and it was lovely! Tea and coffee making facilities in the room - most unusual for Venice! |

Breakfast in the wonderful garden. Cleanliness. The lovely building. Nice and friendly staff. I liked everything, except hotel prices seem to be rather expensive in Venice. :) |

The hotel is located at a former palace with nice spaces and excellent surroundings. The price is high for a 3-star hotel, but everything is expensive in Venice. |

Built in 1875, Villa Igea is located in Campo San Zaccaria, surely one of Venice's loveliest squares, only steps away from the hotel's main building. |
No matter how you arrive in Venice Hotel Arlecchino is perfect! Set just off Piazzale Roma it is close to the train and bus station, and the ferry port. |
The Best Western Hotel Ala is set in a quiet corner of a little square. The nearby vaporetto stop (Giglio) provides great connection to all of Venice. You can walk to Saint Mark's Square. |
Best Western Hotel Olimpia is situated in Venice's historic centre, close to the Grand Canal, the Chiesa dei Frari and Piazzale Roma. |
