Very helpfull young man
Not anything important. The man is not allways there, but it's not a hotel in that sense somt doesn't matter very much
In the Local area of Florence but 10-15 walk to the attractions! The Manager Antonio Super helpful!
Breakfast was not included
We liked the area, is nicer than the rest of Florence, and is very close to the centre. Everything was great with this hotel and the owner was very nice and also gave us good directions of what to do in Florence.
Styrofoam cups are ok, but would definitely be nicer to have real cups for the tea/coffee.
Great location and helpful staff. Plenty of restaurants and a nice local corner bar close by.
The location was perfect. We were able to reach anywhere on foot max 20 min of walking. The owner was a great guy and he explained us everything about where to eat, the prices and all the places worth seeing.
Nothing at all
Thank you very much!
Fairly close to ponte vechio. Spacious room and bathroom, not cramped like most bathrooms in Italy. Electronic pin access into building in case you can't find your keys. Close to cafes for breakfast.
The toilet is too high, making it slightly uncomfortable. Had to open windows to help with the heat and there were people outside talking loudly (normal volume by Italian standards).
Close to the old town (10-15 minutes of walk). NO parking space available - however the owner advised us a parking about 300 meters away which cost 15EUR/day.
Bathroom tiny; wi-fi very, very slow.
The staff were friendly and helpful. We received very good recommendations for places to eat. The location was handy for the train station and for all of the sights and attractions of Florence. The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious and clean.
The location is very good, on the quiet side of River Arno. There are bars and restaurants nearby with less tourists and better prices and quality than in the neighborhood around the Cathedral. The Ponte Vecchio is about 10 minutes walk, the Cathedral is about 15-20 minutes, The room is clean and quiet. The manager is very friendly and helpful, ready to help you if you need map, suggestions where to go etc. Price was also very good, we get good value for our money.
Bathroom is very small, but it wasn't a problem for us. Be aware that parking is a bit expensive as this is a pedestrian area.
Lovely rooms with everything you need and very clean.Staff very helpful and friendly. Location perfect - away from hubbub of tourists but close enough to walk into the centre within 5-10 minutes.
Everything was great. Parking a little taxing as you can't park nearby because you are in the historic centre - but you can hover and unload.
The location was wonderful. Easily walkable to every tourist location. During check in, our host was incredibly informative and helpful.
The bathroom was a little small and difficult to move around in. We were woken up a few times by people sitting outside our windows talking very loudly into the night.
Kind host. Clean and well equiped room and bathroom. Great location in a quiet street, 2 blocks away from a bar area.
Personal welcome by the owner. Very good value for money. Prime location, and yet without tourists all over. Very stabil wi-fi signal.
No refills on shampoo, once used.
The manager was really friendly and helpful. He gave us map and recommended few good places to eat. Room was nice and clean. We had our safe box for valuable things.
The room had odd layout: shower was installed in to tiny closet-like room. Main entrance had really narrow doors and it was difficult to get in or out with backpack.
Independent, like living in a home from home.
Location a little out of the way. Had a fridge and when requested electric jug and cups were supplied. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. Good value for money.
No lift. No hairdrier
Not too far from town center, quiet area (not easy to find in Firenze), quiet room, good air conditionning, very good advices from Antonio including for driving close to the town center without getting fined.
room was a bit cramped, and dark
Great location, close but not too close to all the famous spots. Good internet and wifi. big bathroom. very nice manager. The restaurant he recommend to us turned out to be the best one we had in Florence, very nice food and not crowded and good price.
If you drive to there, it will be very challenging as the road is very very narrow.
So close to Pitti Palace and short walk to Ponte Vecchio
Directions on internet bit confusing. Illustration would be better.
Perfect location close to the Pitti Palace and other sightseeings. The staff is very friendly (and speaks English). Good facilities with everything you need (and could expect from a hotel in a city centre). Anyway, reaching the hotel by car is a (unskilled) driver's nightmare - the traffic in Florence is heavy and chaotic. The hotel is also located within the city limit (entry by car is allowed only for residents) - but there is no need to be worried - the hotel staff asks for the plate number and solves it. We have been also provided with an useful information about local restaurants and cafes. Very good experience with Althea.
Friendly staff gave us all necessary tips for Florence
AC out of order but owner make a discount :)
Antonio was great. Very friendly and helpful. Whole staff was great. Let me keep my belongings on site after check out. Was given access code to the
Door was a little thin, could hear people coming and going. But this wasn't a problem for me, but could see how it might be with loud neighbors. That's it though. Otherwise great.
Friendly and helful owner (thank you Antonio for all your help and advices). Clean rooms. Computer in the room. Great location (5 min to Ponte Vecchio).
