Hotel Altieri  

Ett toppenhotell med bra service, hjälpsam personal. Bra förbindelser in till Venedig, buss 19, som går var15e minut samt direktbuss till flygplatsen, nr 45, som går varje timme. Kunde inte ha bott bättre:)

The distance from Venice.

The hotel was very close to the bus station(around 30m) from where you can take the bus(nr 19) that will take you to Venetia(Piazale Roma). Unfortunally, this was the only good thing about this hotel

The room was very small and the furniture was old. When I opened the closet a very strange smell came from inside. I started the hitting and it was working for around 15 minutes and then it stopped. We tried to start it again, but it did not started. We were frizzing all night. In the next morning we ask the personnel what is the problem with the hitting and they told me that they will check. The breakfast was was poor( a few slices of bacon and a few slices of cheese), the coffee was really bad. In the evening, when we arrived at the hotel, we received another room but in the end , after some minutes the hitting stopped and we were frizzing in the next nights(we did not asked again for another room). In that particular night also the toilet brooked. It was fixed next day. Next morning, we went for breakfast and we were asked to move to another table(the one picked by us was for 3 persons) even if the room was empty. The guy was very rude. We did not liked at all the hotel, it was very cold and staff was not polite and friendly. I do not recommend this hotel

Breakfast is poor.

Easy to go to Venice and To train station.

1. Worst staff I ever met. 2. We had 3 rooms and all of them were dirty and smelly. 3. Water was not enough hot to have a shower. 4. Poor breakfast. Never come back to this 'hotel'...

Good 3* hotel, room are clean and looks like newly renovated. Even we arrived in late night hotel staff was helpful and pleasant. Free parking, even after visit for rest of the day. Very close to bus to Venice. Good breakfast.

Quite cold rooms. No own heating in the room, just over air conditioning unit, which was switched off and if you dont want to have noisy night, than you enjoy cold night. But if you not travel in winter, you will find this hotel very good.

Hotel was located in a good place with easy access to public transportation. Price was reasonable and it was clean.

Air condition system was not working properly and rooms were cold. Hotel was old and facilities were poor.

Indifference of staff except for one.

We liked the friendliness and helpfulness in answering questions about where to eat, bus tickets and fares to airport. Also calling a cab when we had a group of 5 going to airport. we booked for two but had fellow cruise passengers needing lodging and they took care of them at the same rate given to us. This hotel business cards are being given to our other airline friends for their future travels to Venice.

The hotel staff was very nice and they left us to leave our car at the hotel park the last day, so we could go to the center for the day.

Location with Bus-line connection cirectly to city center of Venice. And it is very cheep Bus ticket, only 1,3 euro. Plus you have private parking free so I could leave car there.

Very bad bed to sleep, room was very cold and I was freezing all night even if I used extra blankets. With this price you would expect a loooooot better room. There is no way I would go there again.

It was easy to go to Venice, only 20 minutes by bus. We had the feeling that it was a family hotel, nice. The owner provided to show us other points of interest in this region. The breakfast is very complete. It is situated in a quiet area. There is a restaurant nearby, under the name of "Del Piero" where you can eat very well and for a good price.

The checkout could be later. Should be a more detailed review to rooms before guests arrive new. The garbage was not empty. One of the shower door was broken. We feel the lack of Portuguese television channels.

Great location for the airport transfer! This hotel is approx. 2km from the international airport reachable by very cheap local bus.

The stuff was inadequate and rude, kicking us out of the breakfast room at 10.35,the rooms had disastrous heating,closing at ten at night,the breakfast poor and discusting, the guy there was actually grabbing everything with his bare hand and serving them the next day,no wireless at the rooms, only at the reception, where you needed a whole ski equipment for you to stand the cold and generally the decoration and the atmosphere was just awful and cold!!i know I shouldn't ask for more when I pay 40 euros a night, but at least they shouldnt say they are a 3 star hotel!!so watch out...

Near from the bus stop to Veneza. Good coffe break, but with just a few things.

The room was smelling like mold, with dust and the bed was full of hair/fur.

The owner of the hotel is very kind and he kindly provides some tourism information of Venice. They offer a free parking that is not common around Venice. The beds is very comfort.

Something should be improved: The breakfast is not good. Only hot drinks and croissants are warm thing for eating. There is no vegetables available for breakfast. It is a little bit for from Venice(30 mins by BUS No.19 ).It is very difficult to take BUS 19 during sundays and festivals(once per hour). The door of shower room is broken. It is not warm enough even I turn on the AC and The AC will be stopped from 3:00AM-5:00AM

It is so near the bus station and it takes 20 minutes to go to Venice by bus. You can also eat or drink near the hotel.

The times of check in and check out is so lunatic. You have to check out at 10:30 am. But then you can check in at 14:00 pm. When we arrived to the hotel, it was like 11:00 am, and there is a plenty of free rooms. But they made us wait until 14:00 pm. The breakfast finish at 10:00 am. You have to wake up too early. It is a three-star hotel. But the restaurant isnt opened after the breakfast. The heating system wasnt working. We have visited for my birthday. And I sent a mail to want a room with balcony. But they didnt respond me and our room was without balcony. The breakfast is open buffet. But it was so weak.

Hotel Altieri has a big private parking, that has matter when you go to Venezia on a car. In Venezia a parking costs 4 Euro/hour. A bus to Venezia stops near the hotel (50 meters), and costs 1,30 Euro. Altieri is a small family hotel, its personell is very helpful and frendly.
