Hotel Amadeus

Good location, near central station, it's convinent for us with our luggage. It's not hard to find. And the price is worthy for such a small but clean and comfort basic hotel in Milan.

The hotel is located near the Central Station which makes it very comfortable for those travelling around. The expresses for Malpensa/Linate airports also depart from nearby. It takes about 10 minutes to get to Duomo by undeerground. The only drawback was the unpleasant smell in the bathroom which appeared from time to time.

The breakfast was good, and its staffs had been polite

The building of hotel is very old because of it, its room was dirty, and they charge my credit card before I arrived there !!!

The room was depressing. Hotel staff was not very friendly. There was not Internet in the room. The door to the room felt unsafe.

Very close to the Central Station and metro, short walking distance to the center (1,5-2 km - for those who like walking), clean. Though very thin walls (were woken up by neighbours in the bathroom and their little child)

Poor breakfast (flour products), would like ham/cheese. And would like tea-coffee machine (not to ask the waiters).

The hotel was very good, but you have to think about again arranging breakfast. Two girls were running there all mornings because of serving coffee. You have to buy there simple coffemachine.

Location was really good. Rooms price was good. Staff was friendly.

Noise from the street.

We were 3 and we had a very big room. The location of the hotel is really good very near to the Central Station.

In Breakfast almost everything was sweet not much savory food.

It is very close to city main attractions, metro and central train station. Staff are very helpful and friendly.

I expected much wider lifts in a hotel. I couldn't fit my buggy in.

Despite I indicated a non-smoking room as my preference I was placed to a room smelled like an ash-tray. And there was an ash-tray in the room so this room was definetely for smoking people. The staff could have been more attentive to the clients' wishes posted during online reservation.

It was relatively cheap.

The breakfast was not good. The head waitress at breakfast was like an angry school teacher, barking orders in Italian even though I couldn't understand them; extremely rude. Most of the hotel staff spoke virtually no English. The air conditioning was too cold and could not be adjusted in the room. It could be turned off by calling front desk, but not turned back on!

Helpful and friendly reception staff. Position close to .Milan Centrale station. Large spacious room and bathroom.

There was a very strange unpleasant smell in the room. Advertised as having air con but this was not switched on during our stay. Breakfast was meagre. For instance, one day they ran out of croissants by 9 am. There was no chese or cold meats which you would expect from a continental breakfast. Italians are very noisy and as the hotel is situated on a busy street, take your ear plugs.
