Good sized room clean and staff polite and friendly and helpful-*overall a good hotel and location handy for railway station
Easy to find from termini ideal for 1/2 night stay. If staying longer go central rome
The location was excellent and the 24H reception was very useful for us as we arrived late on a Friday evening (1am).
It's a bit expensive for what you get, but then again that's the case everywhere in Rome.
Lovely, friendly little family run hotel. Rooms small but good spec and very nice, spotless. Triple room only about 90 euros per night which was great for the 6 of us. Location great for colosseum, forum and station. A little further afield from other tourist sites but you would have to pay very much more to stay near them and walking/taxi/metro all good options.
Nothing - we went back for a second night on our way back from hol
The hotel is very friendly, professionally run, and perfectly located. From there you have just a few steps to the Santa Maria Maggiore Basilica, and only a little more to Forum Romanum, Colloseum and many other interesting places. It is very clean, and the breakfast is reach. The room are nicely furnished. There is an air-con and wi-fi. We really felt there like at home.
Good location. Staff really friendly and helpful. Organised taxi from airport for us. Spotless modern rooms. Good value for money. Would stay here again.
Small hotel about 1km from the main train station. Convenient if you are travelling through Europe via rail. Friendly staff. Small rooms but fine as a base. Weird very long flat pillows that are not very comfortable. Breakfast was pretty good in the breakfast room. Would stay there again.
One small issue was when we asked to have a 4 seat table for breakfast, so the family could sit together. The waitress was fine but the manageress/owner?? (not sure) was a bit put out by our simple request (there was room) and made me feel a bit uncomfortable.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Fantastic location, 5 minute walk to train station and close to excellent restaurants ad gelateria. Ten minutes to the Forum.
great location, nice staff, good breakfast.
rooms too small.
Good location close to Termini and easy walk or transport to everything. Good restaurants nearby. Good breakfast and helpful staff across all shifts.
We stayed here on our way south and liked it so much we came back before heading home. No complaints.
Location is good
Room is too small for a triple room Bath room and toilet is too small Water flow in the shower is so low...not satisfactory
Excellent staff, friendly and easy to talk to, they have me all details need it when I asked to go somewhere.
Not much no to like
The room was very small.
Breakfast and staff were great.
Tiny room and bath; Extra tiny elevator. Noisy street at night and had to leave windows open for air.
The location and friendly staff. Great breakfast too.
Nothing at all.
Facilities, very small rome, you cant feel comfortable while you are in the room because the noise of the ladies cleaning and moving around... I didn't like the breakfast.. They don't have toust breads... All in all it is very expensive comparing to it's level...
Perfect location, friendly staff, clean room, good wi-fi connection, pretty comfortable.
narrow corridor, poor breakfast.
great location; very responsive and helpful staff; nice design and nice rooms; hotel more than 3 stars!!
everything was great
Easy reach of Termini station, metro and buses. Walking distance of the Colloseum. Triple room ideal for adult and 2 teenagers, ample space. Wifi. Fridge. Kettle. Safe. Helpful staff. I would stay here again.
I can not think of one thing.
The staff were all friendly and helpful, the breakfast was good and the hotel was very clean.
Breakfast was ok but a little basic
Staff was friendly and the location excellent. Breakfast was good. The hotel had a special athmosphere a chain hotel can not provide.
Hotel Amalfi is a small family run hotel that retains a bit of old world charm. Helpful staff. Rooms well maintained. Located diagonally across the street from the basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore around the corner from Santa Prassede and down the via Merulana to San Giovanni Lateran you are beautifully situated for site seeing. The Colosseum, Roman Forum and Palantine Hill are just a short walk from the Hotel via the back streets. Many nice coffee bars and inexpensive restaurants abound in the area. This was my fourth stay at the Hotel, and I would stay here again.
Breakfast is basic, and a bit tasteless.
Very good location with metro and public bus connection. The hotel was clean, nicely decorated, breakfast buffet was rich and tasteful. We really enjoyed our stay here. To be recommended!
Great location between the station and the Colosseum, easy walking to all the sights. Family run and everything you would want a small budget city centre hotel to be.
