Hotel Amalfitana    

Staff were friendly and welcoming. Located halfway between The Leaning Tower and the river and very convenient for most of the sights.

Some difficulty in persuading the manager to lock our luggage away securely in store as we had an evening flight and didn't want to carry our luggage all day but in the end he found a storeroom with which we were happy.

Staff were lovely, location was great and the rooms were really clean.

Location, ONLY, five minutes or less to the tower and free parking nearby.

Hard, hard mattress, no decent towels, no tissues, broken faucet handle, no elevator to our floor at first, thus moved to a different floor, shower across room from bathroom, breakfast not included and the smeel of burnt toast made us happy to be able to leave.

Friendly, helpful and always smiling staff. The location was central, in walking distance of the main sites of the city, close to airport and railway station. The room was of good size, clean and comfortable. Breakfast consisted of freshly baked bread & croissants and coffee was just the way we liked it! Definetely staying in this hotel again!

On quite a busy road. There is double glazing at the windows but it was still noisy. The website said there was a garden, after a long journey from the UK I was so looking forward to a beer in the garden but it was not ready yet, this should be made clear on the website.

Staff were brilliant, helpful and friendly. We received a complementary bottle of wine when they found out is was a friend's birthday. Excellent choice at breakfast including fresh fruit, yoghurt, croissants, fresh rolls, ham and cheese. Fresh coffee. Good location for sights and restaurants. Good amenities in room and v clean. Quiet location.

My single room a bit dark and no view. Garden wasn't ready but will soon be and plans look great.

The staff were wonderful, both friendly and helpful! Facilities commensurate with price. Quiet, good location close to main attractions. Very clean. Good bathroom. Breakfast is not included but convenient & worth the price. Small bar was handy. Will be even better when the lgarden is refurbished; the plans look great!

The hotel came under new management in January so a few things are still being refurbished eg the garden, and the first floor access to the lift. But nothing impacted on our holiday. Our group had three rooms and there were only two very minor issues: the shower head in our room was functional but was stuck on one setting and the wardrobe door in another room kept sticking.

Very new and clean hotel, excellent, friendly and helpful staff. The location, the tower is literally 5 minutes slow walk up the road. Good value

The bathroom was a bit small but not a problem really. Breakfast is a bit limited but for 5 euros fine.

Friendly staff ready to help. Great location, 3 min walk to the tower. Although the hotel is not new, renovation has been done recently in most of the rooms. Our room was very nice and clean. Good value for money.

Central position (a short walk from the Tower of Pisa, and Santa Chiara Hospital), cheap, with avalaible bar and lift, reception 24 h 24, possibility of breakfast (not included in the price).

I was in this hotel three nights, and twice I had to ask the hotel reception for clean towels and shampoo to have shower, because during the morning round they did not provide them.

The hotel is very near to famous Piazza dei Miracoli and the Leaning Tower. Hotel staff was very polite. Rooms were very clean.

We stayed in this hotel at the end of February. During our trip, we stayed in 6 hotels, but this was the coldest one. It was extremely cold. There is not a central heating system. They are using an air conditioner and it was old and not working. We have seriously suffered from that. Consider this, if you are planning a trip on hot or cold weather. The breakfast area was very narrow. It was containing 3 tables. When we stayed in this hotel, it was low season and there was not other guests, but it may create problems.

good location, easy to get to most things within Pisa by a 15 min walk, with the tower being less than 5.

Just not the most comfy beds, but fair for the price. Little shower pressure and tiny shower, but not a surprise for a budget hotel in europe.

It's a clean hotel not far from"piazza dei miracoli"e "torre pendente". My room was small but with a bathroom and tv... Cute! It is well connected by "lam rossa" at the central station

The hotel is newly refurbished so the rooms were lovely and fresh. The staff were amazing! We needed to contact a police station in another town, they made all the calls and translated to English for us and even drove us to the airport to rent a car when needed. The most helpful hotel staff I have ever come across. It is also in a great location within the city.

Very friendly & helpful staffs. They are actually family business and just under new management since end 2012. Recommended and value for money. It is about 5-7 minutes walking to Pisa tower.

It didnt have parking, so if you drive to this place, during peak season, public parking space may be a little challenge.

Lovely little find in the heart of Pisa. Friendly service, great at pointing out the well know local sites as well as some other less know attractions.

Little bit cold in the room, but there was a lovely Donna to add to the bed, making it cosy!
