Madison Hotel is right across from Rome Termini Station for metro and bus services across the city. There is a daily buffet breakfast, and staff is available 24 hours a day.
Score from 1500 reviews Good
Hotel Camelia offers great customer service from its English-speaking staff, plus a generous buffet breakfast; all just a 10 minute walk from Termini Station in Rome.
Score from 312 reviews Excellent
Occupying a beautiful 19th-century building, the hotel is in the center of the Eternal City, just a few steps from Piazza di Spagna and the wonderful Fori of Imperial Rome.
Score from 213 reviews Good
The Worldhotel Ripa Roma is a smart and modern hotel in the trendy and friendly area of Trastevere, 165 ft from the tram stop to the historic center of Rome.

Great air conditioning. View of St. Peter's dome. Close to everything.
A bit small at times for all of our luggage. Bathroom very small.
Comfortable beds, plenty of wardroble space and coat hangers. Charming hotel overall. Would definitely stay here again & will definitely recommend the hotel.
Shower curtain too short
I liked the location, which is close to the historic centre but with a local feel, the room was clean and comfortable
The breakfast was rather poor and not tasty and the breakfast lounge was a very small room, not a place where I wanted to start my day.
The location is great for an early morning tour of the Vatican.
No toiletries. Of the 8 hotels we visited the breakfast and breakfast room were far below average.
The staff are very kind and helpful!
From the outside, this hotel looks huge, however it only occupies 16 rooms, which is the reason for the small breakfasting area. There were 4 in our family and the size caused no issue. It was a typical continental style buffet, with enough choice to satisfy individual tastes. Those who have left negative feedback need to embrace local culture or stay at home! The junior suite booked was roomy, clean and fulfilled the needs of a family with 2 older children. The mezzanine floor was different not what we were expecting and was a pleasant surprise. The master room was large with the en suite shower room, 2 sinks and toilet facilities. It had 2 working tv`s and 2 air conditioning units and a small fridge, perfect for the cola and Peroni`s. It overlooked the courtyard and was surprisingly quiet considering the location was so close to the Vatican walls. The lifts was silent and were a period feature of the building. Room 112 is one I would book again.
the location was excellent. It's about a 10 minute walk to the Vatican. There are many good restaurants nearby. We didn't hear any street noise from our hotel room. The room itself was very spacious and fit all 4 of us very comfortably. The staff was very accomodating. When I told them that my son had a gluten allergy, they told me not to worry. They provided free gluten food for him There was a nice selection for the breakfast.
This is the second time we stayed at Amalia Vaticano. The room we got this time was on the first floor, smaller than the ones in the fourth floor, but had a much better bathroom with a good size shower. The room faced the street and had a nice view of the Via Germanico. It was nice and quiet. No noise came from the street, which was our initial concern. The staff were very helpful and friendly as in our first stay. The WiFi worked well, although their system of logging in and out is a little strange. The location is ideal. Close to the Vatican and also less than 5 min walk to the Metro (Ottaviano). Excellent restaurants in the neighborhood, just walk a little away from Vatican and towards the river.
Staff was very friendly and courteous, and willing to go the extra mile. The continental breakfast (included in the price) was a great spread of both US and EU foods. Room was decent size (for EU standards), beds were OK. Great location (2 blocks from the Vatican and Metro stop, and bus terminal) Lots of great eateries and restaurants within walking distance. Thank you to Leonardo, Claudia, and (sp) Milcia for making our stay so enjoyable.
The Showers were too small (but normal for EU standards). AC didn't seem to keep up with the heat of the day (room 314) and was noisy at that... Elevator is a normal EU small elevator.. but at least there was one!
the cleanliness of the room; the professional, very friendly and helpful staff (notably il signor Leonardo at Reception desk and the sweet lady serving breakfast). Value for money! I would not hesitate to recommend it!
the rather limited options available at breakfast
The location is terrific. Right near Vatican City, St. Peter's Square and the Vatican Museums. It is also less than 5 min. from the Ottaviano metro station. Many wonderful restaurants in the neighborhood, just don't stick to the touristy ones. The breakfast was good value at 5 Euros and the service very friendly. The rooms were huge and our room had a king size bed, which was great!
The shower is tiny, but functional. Early mornings you could occasionally hear some noise from the hallway.
The staff was very helpful and concerned about our needs.
Better communication regarding the facility would help such as elevator capacity and the buzzer to get to our room.
The cleanliness and position of hotel
The staff is not too friendly. Almost no disposition to help.
Great place, location, nice room, good staff.
The noise in the streets infiltrates into the room.
Location, bathroom and service.
Beds were hard and breakfast area was too small.
A disgrace. They put me in a lousy room, that looks nothing like the one on your website. One of the the worst value places I have stayed in. Room, white, phone old, bed old, cupboards old....a dive. Passage was more of a old boarding house than hotel. I think you should take them off your site.
Staff was so kind and helpfull. Especially, Luigi is so nice person like a family member. Thank you again for hot B-day organization. Perfect location, nice people.
Walking distance to the Vatican, museum and the Sistine Chapel. Take the Maya Tours and you don't have to wait in line to see the Vatican, etc. . It's worth the extra Euros. The Limousine service from the airport to the hotel was a plus since parking space in Rome is non- existent and it is so crowded. Great cafes and restaurants and shopping very convenient.. Staff was friendly and helpful.
March was off-season but it was still crowded. Fountain of Treve was a highlight but it was so crowded. Not like in the movies and I didn't get a chance to throw a coin in the fountain!
Close to vatican centre
Friendly staff, excellent location, rooms are very clean.
Very pleasant staff. Comfortable beds.
The smell in the hallways - like a sewer - was unbearable the night I arrived. While this abated by the morning, it was incredibly off-putting.
Good location and decent value, just 2 blocks from Vatican, staff was available on-site and helpful.
Traveled as a family of 4 (2 young adult children), a bit cramped but spent little time in the room, only to sleep (2 nights). One bed was a fold out couch, very uncomfortable, very thin unsupportive foam mattress on wooden slats.
