The hotel is very well located in Rome. Many of the most attractive spots can be reached by foot. The terrace, though small is beautiful. Our room had a balcony, which was a great plus The rooms facilities are really outdated (old and small tv). The bathroom facilities simply did not work. After every shower we had a true flood in the bathroom. At the reception we were simply told that they had no solution !!!! for those who wake up early, breakfast starts only at 7h00!! Any attempt to get there before is bluntly rejected. At 10h25 (even on sunday) there was no food available and the breakfast room was inaccessible.

The hotel was in a good location and clean. The Hotel is old, dated and in dire need of refurbishment. The beds are rock hard. Most of the service staff at breakfast are useless because they cannot cope under pressure and lack of food coming out. Asked for fried eggs which were gooey and cold when I got them 15 minutes later. Food quality was generally well below par. Staff were no help and 1 man even walked around ignoring people. This is by far the worst 5 * hotel I've stayed in, 3 star at best. Rome was fantastic but take plenty of euros and a big pair of balls as you will argue with the Italians alot when they try to rip you off on already very expensive things. Had a meal in a bar down the road who tried to charge for things we didnt order, service was poor, food was average and they tried charging 15% service. They didnt get a tip but it took alot of work. Im generally an easy going person and would take it rather than argue, but this was the straw that broke the camels back. Great city break though.

The room was not according to our expectation, I.E. worn out furnitures and the bathroom needs refurbishment. The beautiful photos of the room on your web page does not correspond to the reality. The web page refer to antique furnitures and some (unique?) chandeliers. The expression "antique" is pretty far streched. I consider the reference as a joke espescially conserning the minibar cover and the wardrobe cabinet.

What did we like about our stay St the ambasciatori "palace" hotel? Nothing!!! We feel deceived by the 5 star luxury rating and "ripped off" by the room rate we prepaid. The Ambascidtori "palace" hotel pretends to be 5 star luxury hotel we rate it a 3 star with a 5 star price tag. When we arrived there was no porter and were told by reception that they no longer have porters. We were given our room key and were left on our own to manage our bags, find our room and discover the amenities. When we settled imto our room we discovered that the decor was sadly worn. The paint was chipped, the wall paper peeling and there were stains on the wall and ceiling. The furniture was old and worn, scarred and damaged. There was just one robe in the bathroom no extra pillow or blankets and a general "down at the heels" feeling for the look of the room and the amenities offered. During the course of our stay, they removed the very inadequate glass shower protection and we were left to shower without the water barrier and after each shower use were left with a significant pool of water on the floor that created a serious falling hazard. We feel strongly that the star designation for this hotel and the tariff we paid deceived us. We feel "ripped off"!!!

After trying to stick us with an ugly old dirty standard room instead of a deluxe triple room, they upgraded us to a beautiful 2 room suite. Good thing I had a print out of the description of the room from booking.com. The check in staff even told me that ugly smaller room was what I ordered! Not a good feeling for a first day in Italy. So base I the small ugly old room they try to give us--the ratings are all poor. The breakfast staff and breakfast were great. Order American coffee, espresso or cappuccino from the staff. Tried to cheat us by giving us a smaller, old, dirty standard room instead of what we reserved. Might want to have them show you the room and email them ahead to ensure what you get. They should not be renting out that ugly old with stained wallpaper room under a 5star rating!!! Overall if they update all the rooms, then this could be more of a 4 star boutique hotel---NOT a 5star!!!

Every thing was exceptional during our stay at the hotel the location is perfect ,the building is fantastic ,we stayed at suite that was very comfortable clean and spacious. The food is excellent. The staff is very professional ,very polite ,very helpful. Every time in the future when I come to rome i'll stay at that hotel. Nothing except that the tv is very old and very small.

Well after reading some reviews I was a bit skeptical, but decided to give it a try. Honestly this place has nothing bad to talk about, the building itself might be old, but bear in mind well kept and updated standard; this is Rome after all! Very clean, location outstanding Via V Venettto the best locations where the rich and famous hang out. USA embassy is across, HardRock Cafe next door and of course a platoria of fancy hotels along that same street. Bottom line, yes I will recommend this place and will stay here again. Breakfast buffet included it is a splurge, as much as I am not a big eater but for those who like eating you will be catered for. Nothing

location was fantastic. Could walk to everything. Room was very clean every day and comfortable. Bathroo was great with great showers. Breakfast was good, something for everyone! on departure we were charged for a dinner we didn't get. When they found their error there was very little apology. Shower trays are blocked causing the water to overflow. No iron or ironing board. You have to pay money to receive those facilities.

The hotel staff was very attentive and helpful. The hotel is centrally located with many good restaurants within walking distance. We walked to the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain. Taxi cabs were easy to obtain one block from the hotel. The breakfast that is included in the hotel rate was very good with many choices. The breakfast was the best hotel experience during our stay. The bathtub did not drain well. The air conditioning was not very cold.

Very friendly staff and great value for money F&B prices in the bar and minibar are ridiculous (as in many other hotels in Rome). We went to the SPAR supermarket around the corner instead where you buy >5L of water for the price of a single bottle in the (mini)bar.

Good breakfast. Majority of the catering staff is highly professional. Rooms are done well and on time. Reception staff is absolutely unprofessional. Hardly understanding (not speaking) any foreign language while pretending to, so make sure they understood you if you ask them for something otherwise you may find yourself without a reservation for dinner while you think it is all fixed. Staff has worn out clothing thus making the impression of the faded elegancy. Room service food and drinks leftovers in the hallways are being matured for two-three days before taken away.
