Hotel Ambasciatori    

Central location / very nice room and a very good bed for sleeping!

It is an ok hotel - if you look for special flair you need to book something different

staff were friendly, polite and professional.

a bit pricey compared with other cities.

We was in Hotel Ambasciatori in 2012 and this year we choose again that Hotel for your stay in Florence BUT this time only staff was on the same level like in the past the other things are in the poor position than before.

Location was great. Happy Hour with food was also a nice touch. Located across from the main train terminal. Stones throw away from main city sights and shopping.

WiFi in the room was slow. Worked well though on the ground floor and also at the bar / lounge on the mezzanine level.

Room was comfortable. The location is not far from historical center.

Rooms are very small. Breakfast very poor. The window view and nearby streets disappointed us (there is no any picture of fasade and views on booking.com). The hotel realy overprised.

My room losts power and it takes 40 min to recover. Too slow.

The breakfast choice was excellent. The room quiet, roomy and the air conditioner worked well. Generous toiletries and spacious room.

Being so close to the train station, although convenient, the people that loitered around it were confronting. Also, there was no nice view of the more scenic parts of Florence, being so close to the train station.

I found it very hard to sleep because of the heat, and the a/c couldn't be turned on at that time of the year due to legal requirement not to turn a/c before May). I eventually had to open the window but the hotel is very close to the train station, so I couldn't have a good rest - not really the best way to get prepared for a 2-day workshop with my client.

clean big room that was silent

awkward position of bathroom sink scraped my leg on sharp corner of sink stand very poor value for money dinner and very expensive food that was uninteresting cost almost 50 euro's for a small starter main course of vegetables a nd chhese and rubbery deser... sorry

Close location to Railway Station and all tourist places was useful.

Room 521 too far from lift.Room temperature was too high and there was no way except to keep window open but there was then too much noise of traffic.Actually quite uncomfortable nights for us.

Hotel Ambasciatori was brilliant! I would recommend to anyone to stay. The staff were brilliant and ensured I had a great experience not only within the hotel, but made recommendations and reservations to ensure I enjoyed my last night travelling in Florence

The decor, design were a bit spartan--overly modern, trendy (E.G. in bar, front desk). My room was fine, however. Also--there could be more elevators.

The location was great! Easy access to main train station and walking distance to shopping streets, etc. Rooms were clean and decor was modern/contemporary. Will definitely stay here again if we return to Florence!

- Very central location. Easy to do everything by foot. - Lounge/Restaurant/Bar areas were beautifully designed. - Room was small but clean and cosy. - Nice breakfast.

- Wifi connection in the room was weak. Couldn't access internet from bed. Had to stand next to the door. - Room facing station was noisy. - Room got very humid.
