Het elegante Hotel Ambasciatori bevindt zich naast de Santa Maria Novella kerk in het historische centrum van Florence, op 10 minuten lopen van de Kathedraal. Wij hebben genoten van ons hotel in Firenze, de buitenkant ziet er niet zo mooi uit, maar de binnenkant is zeer modern in de lobby+ bar. De kamers zijn net en wij hadden een redelijk grote kamer met een balkonnetje. De ligging is super als je met de trein reist, wij kwamen van een zakenuitstap in Milaan en Firenze was een verademing. Het ontbijt is zeer uitgebreid en gevarieerd, het personeel is zeer behulpzaam.

ontvangst en parkeergelegenheid Hotel had (2 dagen) geen warm water (a.g.v. koude temperatuur buiten) als ook problemen met de verwarming. Om deze reden vond ik een prijs aanpassing van 30% gepast. Zij kwamen met voorstel om de touristenbelasting niet te hoeven betalen (4euro per dag). Ik werd hierdoor behoorlijk geirriteerd en heb geen overeenstemming kunnen bereiken over de prijs.

Prima hotel,mooie kamer( junior suite),op loopafstand van alle bezienswaardigheden van Florence, dichtbij luchthaven (taxi), prima ontbijt. Wat wij jammer vonden was dat er op het mooie, voor een hotelkamer grote, balkon geen stoelen en een tafeltje stonden om lekker van het avondzonnetje en het mooie uitzicht te kunnen genieten. Tevens misten wij een kapstok en wat ophanghaakjes in de badkamer. Ook was het douchen in het bad(jacouzi) niet optimaal. De douche hing te laag en erg dicht op de muur, zodat mijn man die toch een normale lengte heeft, er maar met moeite onder pastte, plus het feit dat de halve badkamer een waterballet werd.

The hotel rooms were updated, clean and comfortable. Good location if you need to get out early to take the train. It's really right across the street from the Santa Maria Novella Train Station. The hotel is also walking distance to everything. While the rooms have been updated the hotels exterior needs to addressed as well. The way the outside looks one would not expect the interior to be so nice. So don't let the exterior turn you off.

I loved speciality, because its near central station ( train and bus). Only a few 15 minutes walking you can meet the city. The service room was not very good. Our T.v room doesn´t work, and missed role paper in bathroom.

The location is great because is close to the main attractions and it was easy to find by car. Plus, is close to the trains station. The staff was great and helpful. The hotel is not cheap but after staying in different places in Italy I think that some ammenities and comfort are perks that you have to pay for.

The location of the hotel was amazing. It was just about 10 minutes walk from center locations and if you choose to travel, it was 30 seconds from train station and bus station. The staff was very helpful and sincere. I would suggest everyone this hotel and definately i will stay here again at my next trip to florence.

Location is very cloest to train station. Break fast was good. Bad smell in the room. Very very very small room. The bed is split not double. Price too much for this room. Chooese other hotel, please.

The hotel stuff is horrible, which you might think they are customers and you are the service provider. But what I disappointed is that they over charged me two more nights price as I only stay three days. If you have ever stay this hotel, please double check your credit card statement to see if you got unexpected trash. This unfair payment is still in process of refunding, but I dont know how long it will take.

This hotel is located in an ideal central location for a city break. It is opposite the main railway station, the bus station is two minutes away,city bus tours stop is across the road and together with this all the main places of interest and shopping area is just a ten minute walk. Despite being in such a busy central position the room we had over the main street was very quiet and we had no problem at all sleeping. The hotel staff were so helpful and courteous and the breakfast buffet was excellent. The restuarant next to the hotel we found to be good value and served very good food. Not one of the cheaper hotels but, we felt it was worth the money.

Great food variety in the breakfast. Free and fast wi-fi internet. Good room size. Elevator is undersized for the hotel, too small and too slow. Poor room lighting. There is a parking next to the hotel, but too expensive (but that´s across Europe). The room was hot and the air conditioning doesn´t work.

The room was spacious and comfortable, bathroom was large for european standards. The staff was courteous was also wonderful that the staff spoke perfect english. Negative sides of the stay was the breakfast buffet was geared to processed food, only hot item was the eggs and they were overcooked, grey in color. My suggestion would be some sort of breakfast meat, and fresh . also upon check out we were charged for a city tax.

Nice bathroom Absolutely no place for car parking, not even to take out the baggage; room is extremely small, I couldn't find a place where to open my suitcase, I don't understand how it is possible to rate it as 4*; slow elevators stopping at every floor for at least 30 seconds without a button to close the doors at once

It was clean, modern and had a good buffet. Our room was only half cleaned on the third day. Also a member of staff let them selves into our room without knocking.
