Hotel Ambasciatori is in central Palermo - perfect for sightseeing. Breakfast on the roof was lovely and drinks on the roof in the evening was beautiful. Great hotel. |

They have a lovely terrace on which to have breakfast with a great view of the city. There is only one lift that is very small and old. We were waiting for it and a member of staff arrived in it with about 8-9 rubbish bags which meant the lift was very smelly and unpleasant to use. In particular the rubbish bags had leaked onto the floor of the lift. Also staff were not very friendly. |

The location, the public areas of the hotel, and above all - the roof terrace. Breakfast was good. Most staff members were kind and helpful. The room was very small with a narrow window that opened into an inner space - probably the smallest double room on the 5th floor. The same room was given to a couple after we checked out, and replaced as they didn't like it. (we did not ask fo a different room as we checked in in a hurry to return our rental car). |

Excellent position in the centre of town Reception is on the fifth floor - on a couple of occasions the single lift was blocked by other occupants of the block, which meant a good climb. Finding the parking was difficult - on the first occasion I missed it and spent over an hour trying to get back to base in the nightmarish traffic of Palermo. I wouldn't recommend anyone to arrive by car. |

The young and enthusiastic staff team were exceptionally friendly, informative and helpful, making us very welcome and providing excellent customer service during our stay. Please don't say "just park 'round the back of the hotel", as there is very little space and lots of double-parking and it is not suitable for a hire car, even if you could find a space. |

beautiful city view if you stand on their roof garden after breakfast. No parking! but you can find place to park in the narrow back street of the hotel. |

We stayed at the same hotel a second time during our trip because it was so good. The staff is excellent and the rooms are comfortable. Also, the location on Via Roma not far from the train station and within walking distance of good restaurants as well as the monuments and sites. The bathroom in the newer room we were given this time was excelent, large, clean, great shower. They are undergoing a renovation and some rooms are better than others. Ask to be placed in a "newer" room (ours was on the third floor even though reception and most rooms are on the fifth floor of the building. Finally, the wi-fi still did not work for us this second time. |

Great location near train station, good security, staff were very friendly, spoke good English, terrace view of city the Wi-Fi did not work as advertised. Could not get the network on my laptop list. The stafff were courteous but could not solve problem. Gave me a cable to connect with my laptop but it required that I unplug the public use computer (could not be done if busy). |

Beautiful view of the city at the breakfast area and friendly staffs Bathroom has a strange smell and the water does not drain too well in the shower. On the first night, there was noise from the generator affecting our sleep but it was gone on th second night |

The staff was friendly and helpful, and since we first stayed at Hotel Ambasciatori two years ago, they've made several improvements: an additional desk in the lobby as you enter, ethernet in the rooms (bring your own cable), etc. The real reason to stay, though, is still the amazing breakfast terrace, which affords the best view of Palermo we've seen. This will keep us coming back every time. |

Hotel Garibaldi takes its name from Palermo’s famous theatre, located directly opposite. Modern and stylish, it is one of the only hotels in the city to offer free indoor parking. |
The hotel lives up to its name as it is located in the centre of the city, close to many transport links and is just 150 metres away from the central train station. |
Located in the heart of Palermo, just a few steps from the magnificent cathedral and the famous Via Maqueda, this hotel was once the noble 18th century Palazzo Tarallo. |
You could not find a better location in the heart of the historic centre of Palermo. Grande Albergo Sole is set next to the piazza of Quattro Canti. |
