About 20-30 min with city transport from Roma center.
Windows oriented to the busy street.
It's really near the tram station that take you to Roma Termini. We were given 4 towels and 4 soaps and they even made the room with new towels, awesome! I think I left my towel in the room. The staff was super friendly and really helpful. Parking was available, if you are lucky you can get the free spot.
The signage was not clear,on top of the building there was a 'Hotel' sign but no AMICO. then the reception of the hotel was on 7th floor-I didn't know that so I just tried my luck.Wifi is good, not on peak hours. If you wanna upload pics on FB, wait till 1am onwards.
We liked the friendliness of the staff, the nice old elevator and the short trip to town center. (20 min to central station) The hotel is in an area that is quite hip and therefor perfect to spend the evening also in the area surrounding the hotel. Especially for young people, it's a perfect place to stay. It's a 2 star hotel, so don't expect too much luxury.
The doors are quite old and you often have the feeling, someone entering the hotel is already standing in your room.
outside view is good
Room is small, 2 bedroom is not comfortable for 2 People. Location is very poor. We went in summer, very horrible to stay there as there is no Air conditioner and weather is also to hot and humid.Very difficult to sleep and stay.
nothing wrong with the facilities ... it actually had character
the part of town was a little rough
The staff was great and very helpful! The room was just what we needed for our short time in Rome.
The location was a bit hard to find and the neighborhood was really sketchy. The hotel sits on the 7th floor of an apartment building so it wasn't very clear we we're going into a hotel. The neighborhood was fine during the day but at night was really unsafe in my opinion. Nothing happened to us but we were almost speed walking through to get to our hotel.
- Close to Termini train station - Quiet cheap - Possibility to pay with cards
- Smell of smoke in the room and on the blankets - Issues with the credit card given for the booking
