Hotel Amleto  

We really loved our stay here; we were booked for 2 days but ended up staying for 3. Our room on 3rd story was immaculate with cheery (but not vulgar) painted tile floors and a comfortable bed with a nice cotton quilt. It gave out onto a balcony with dazzling views of the Sorrento Peninsula. The staff were friendly and spoke passable English, though Italian is a better choice. Parking was secure and free; there was an in-room safe. Location is literally a five-minute walk from the Pompeiian ruins and right in the town center with shops, restaurants, etc. The apple cake at breakfast was fabulous; everything else adequate, plentiful, and fresh ( but see below).

The water pressure was not of the best, at least on the third floor, though one could have a perfectly adequate shower. I'd have loved to see some fruit at the breakfast spread; the offering were OK (the usual fare: breads, jam, cereal, meats, cheese, yogurt, cakes) but a bowl of oranges or something would have make me very happy. Wifi was available but only in the lobby.

This hotel is not a 4 star hotel, optimisticaly is a 3 star ,actually for the lack of confort it should be considered a 2 stars. Poor breakfast, bad room, noisy, etc

Staff were all very cordial and family friendly. Great breakfast bar! Very convenient to the Pompei ruins. Parking garage a definite plus.

Our rooms were on the first floor on the west side of the hotel over a main route for the city. Early each morning we were awaken by the garbage truck picking up trash.

The hotel was beautiful. The rooms were impeccably clean and well appointed. The best thing about the hotel is the phenomenal staff. If you want to stay someplace where you are treated like family, then Hotel Amleto is the place. We have found a second family with Gregorio and Anna. We will definitely return.

Breakfast till 10:00, but at 9:30 was the buffet quite scanty. Staff does not understand English.

Muito boa localizaçao, a poucos passos da praça principal, da entrada das ruínas e dos principais restaurantes. Possui garagem própria e funcionários prestativos.

Os quartos são pequenos e o banheiro menor ainda.

La terrazza e la gentilezza

L'hotel è ok sotto tutti I punti di vista! La posizione è ottima (in centro storico e a tre minuti a piedi dagli scavi); c'è il parcheggio sotterraneo privato e questa è una gran comodità perché, se ci si sposta usando le linee della circumvesuviana, è possibile lasciare la macchina nel parcheggio anche tutto il week end; la colazione è abbondante e di qualità, le camere pulite.

Tutto ok!

Hôtel à gestion privée, ne dépend pas d'une chaîne d'hôtels. Service et gentillesse, prévenance remarquable. Font beaucoup d'efforts pour survivre et garder leur standing en maintenant des prix très raisonnables. Buffet petit déjeùner parfait avec petites attentions du type salade de fruits frais préparée pour chacun. A recommander
