Hotel Amleto  

Good location for visits to attractions. Hotel good and friendly.

I picked the hotel because they have a triple room (I travelled with two kids), a garage for our family car, we were able to walk to the Pompei ruins in 5 min, and it is located near shopping and restaurants. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The room we had faced the street and was a bit noisy at night.

Staff were all very cordial and family friendly. Great breakfast bar! Very convenient to the Pompei ruins. Parking garage a definite plus.

Our rooms were on the first floor on the west side of the hotel over a main route for the city. Early each morning we were awaken by the garbage truck picking up trash.

My Husband and I stayed here for only one night for the purpose of touring Pompeii. The hotel staff are lovely, the breakfast suitable and the rooms are very Italian in decor and comfortable. The location to the ruins is just fabulous! This Hotel is a few minutes’ entire walk to the back entrance and for this - it was a perfect choice for us. There are a number of nice restaurants along the street leading to the ruins, so it was very easy to have a lovely, inexpensive Italian meal for dinner!

My Husband is 6.4Ft so the small shower cubic was a little uncomfortable for him but I wouldn’t worry about this for a short stay. Our room had a small split system air-conditioning unit which did struggle to cool the room during the late afternoon but all in all this hotel is great value for money!

The hotel was beautiful. The rooms were impeccably clean and well appointed. The best thing about the hotel is the phenomenal staff. If you want to stay someplace where you are treated like family, then Hotel Amleto is the place. We have found a second family with Gregorio and Anna. We will definitely return.

The service was good, the staff was friendly and the room had air conditioning and was clean.

The room was extremely noisy. There were young kids outside riding around on motor scooters, racing with cars, honking horns, yelling, and screaming until all hours of the night. I went to the front desk to complain and they offered another room. I went to other room and it was just as noisy.

The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The car parking was very convenient and free. Wifi was also free. The hotel is very well located for visiting the ruins at Pompeii and of a very high quality generally. I would recommend this hotel quite highly.

I think they could make more of the roof terrace, for example sun loungers, a bar and some kind of water feature, although we didn't go up there until the evening so perhaps better facilities are available earlier in the day.

The hotel was located close to the train station as you arrived from Naples. It was very clean and the breakfast was generous.

It was about a 15 minute walk to the front entrance of Pompeii but closer to the back entrance and was a 15 minute walk to the train station to Sorrento, This was a tough walk in warm weather with kids and luggage but would be fine as a couple.

The staff were all really friendly helpful and obliging which made us feel very comfortable and relaxed. The location to pompeii excavation was brilliant. The room well heated as we were there in February. The mattresses very comfortable with enough blankets and well laundered crisp white cotton sheets. The double room we moved to after a change was good. It had a working safe so we were able to leave some valuables that we did not want to carry around in the room. The lack out blinds helped as our room was street side on a crossing that was busy. The breakfast was good and sustaining. Offering a good cold buffet and fresh fruit.

The first room we had was very noisy as all windows opened on a crossroad. The safe did not work and the water in the shower was cold and did not warm up. We asked to be moved and was obliged the second day.

Hôtel à gestion privée, ne dépend pas d'une chaîne d'hôtels. Service et gentillesse, prévenance remarquable. Font beaucoup d'efforts pour survivre et garder leur standing en maintenant des prix très raisonnables. Buffet petit déjeùner parfait avec petites attentions du type salade de fruits frais préparée pour chacun. A recommander
