The staff was exceptional. Very friendly and helpful. Parking was included and they parked the car. The hotel was very clean with marble floors and it was a short walk to the Pompei ruins and Basilica dedicated to Madonna del Rosario di Pompei |

Our room was very nice; the concierge/manager was very helpful and courteous, as well as the hotel staff. One of the staff went out of her way to show us the best place to take photos. Breakfast buffet was very fulfilling. We would overnight here again if the opportunity presented itself. |

10 min from excavations; 2 min from centre of Pompei, extremely helpful/ pleasent staff; roof terrace, breakfast buffet; 5 min walk from nearest circumvesuviana station, 10 min from train station; room on the small size - but not a problem as the location was superb; |

We liked the close proximity to the Pompei Ruins as well as closeness to the Railway station. There was a religioous festival on a the time of our arrival, we were not aware of this. It was a real family atmosphere, lots and lots of people and so very busy. We were lucky to see this. The Hotel staff were very good, but nobody seemed to give us any details about the festival. I would have thought there would be a brochure or something we could read, but nothing. Because we had a very early start the next morning, we went to bed early. This was unfortunate, as their were a massive round of fireworks at aroound 9.30pm. They kept us awake for some time, nobody's fault, and a shame we missed them, they were held right in the city square, just around the corner. Oh, don't forget to see the local church, absolutely stunning inside! Well worth a visit. And of course the ruins of Pompei, simply amazing!! |

The location of Hotel Amleto is perfect for visiting Pompeii, close to the back entrance. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly and the price was good value for money, bedrooms were small but comfortable. Lovely breakfast. |

Previous to our arrival we sent an email asking help for train connections, and promptly received detailed advice. Everything was just great, the Amleto is a size-reduced 4-5 star hotel. |

The hotel was nice with beautiful tile work, but was hard to find from Naples as there are 3 train stations and we got off on the wrong one |

The Hotel Amleto was a lovely surprise, decorated in a romantic Italian style without being stuffy or pretentioous. The staff were cheerful and very helpful, from parking our car for us to providing maps and restaurant advice. |

Brilliant location just off the main square in Pompei, very close to the ruins and also close to restaurants, shops and train station. Our room was only half cleaned on one of the days we stayed - although the staff did offer to move us, no apology was given for this and they were quite unconcerned that the door to our shared terrace was left wide open by the house-keeper for a full day. Fortunatley nothing was stolen. |

It was as intended to be near the Pompeii site and convenient for eating at night all this was achieved. basic comfort, a bit noisey in the morning but then it is Italy.what would they do without a car horn. |

staff was pleasant air conditioning didnt work in room, they didnt check it until morning, still not working and they didnt compensate for it. It was uncomfortable sleeping in a hot room. |

Beautifully refurbished old building. Friendly, helpful staff. Walking distance from ruins, good restaurants. Rooftop gardens are a pleasant place to relax in the evening. Parking staff perform amazing feats getting cars into tiny spaces in the garage. Family friendly. Wifi connection works well in reception/lobby area, but not from room. |

The view was amazing, the staff was super friendly, the location was perfect! They have roof access where you can see the whole city and Mt. Vesuvius, private balconies and large, comfortable beds! About 4 steps to the main piazza, and 2 blocks from the ruins. Very good value for the money! |

This hotel was a great choice for visiting the ruins of Pompei. Nice clean rooms with aircondition, super romantic roof terrace, very friendly staff who even parks your car in their hotel garage (this is essential because there is no other parking nearby). Don't miss the gourmet restaurant Machiavelli 100 m from the hotel (we had extremely good food at very reasonable prices). |

Good breakfast, nice staf and clean room. The hotel was recently renovated as we noticed. Close (about 200m) to the Scavi entrance at Pompeii. |
