we love almost everything from the first moment, very near the Central railway station but still quiet, 10 minutes walking from the Duomo, many restaurants nearby.

The only negative remark relates to noise from corridor (1 morning) at 7 am ............... someone was very loud ..........

We just returned from Italy and one of our highlights was staying at Hotel Angelica in Florence. The owner was so kind and went out of her way to make sure we had a great vacation. We were in a predictament trying to book a tour for Monday because everything that we wanted to do was full. She was determined to find one that we were interested in and there was availability. She kept calling until she find the one in Assissi which turned out to be a wonderful day. The location was perfect close to everything. .

Limited WiFi access, a curfew was imposed as main door entrance had to be locked by midnight, noisy beds.

The lift is small and slow. Although it states there is free wifi, but we are only given free 2 hours of wifi daily.

Location just a few steps from the train station and not far to the city center. We had an unusual room in the attic, it was worse than standard rooms, but we had a private terrace on the top floor only at our disposal.

You always feel yourself under the control of an elderly lady in charge of hotel, you can't carry your key with you, you have to ring the door bell every time you come to the hotel. Breakfast is very modest, coffee is bad, limited choice of food. If you come at the end of breakfast, dirty dishes are washed by the lady under the water tap without any detergents and dried with kitchen towel which seems not very hygienic, it's much better to use the dish-washer. Only one chair in the room and no bed-side table on one side of the bed, so you have to put your stuff on the floor.

Breakfast choice very limited, once finish no replenish. therefore breakfast sucks! Room so small, wifi unable to connect well.

Very nice staff, convenient location close to the SMN station and at walking distance to all points of interest, you can have tea or coffee in breakfast area any time (one of the hotels in Florence charged even for a glass of hot water). Breakfast was decent enough compared to italian standard.

The room was smaller than the one presented on photos on booking.com. Heating is turned on from time to time (by timer) - sometimes it felt a little cold (early March). For internet connection you need to get from reception a printed login/password with limited time and you need to get another one when the time is expired. However there was another hotel's wifi available in our room with was open for connection.

A small hotel with very nice, friendly and helpful owners. The location of the hotel is excellent, it is 100 meters from the train station and a 20 minute walk from the historical sites. Being so close to the train station means not having to walk very far with your luggage from the train or airport bus. Although close to the center, the hotel is located on a side street, so there is not too much noise or traffic. Rooms are relatively spartan but comfortable and very clean. In this price range, I do not think one can find a better place in Florence. I highly recommend it.

She ask us to use other Hotel free wifi which I think is not right to do that. However my iPad unable to locate that particular wifi & she just said I can't help u on that. (Which I able to find the wifi for Hotel Angelica) Until we show her the booking.com confirmation about there is wifi in the room, then she only print out the password and gave it to us. Which only allow us to use for 1 hour.

Excellent location, particularly if travelling by train

Two staff (owners?) operating the place were very nice, but would hold your room key so you were obliged to come and go at times that suit them (they were quite elderly). The woman was very nice and very helpful, but the man turned rather nasty when he couldn't operate his credit card reader. My card is a credit card which does not require a pin, but this man accused me more or less of having stolen the card (which obviously had my name on it!). This really soured the end of an amazing trip to Tuscany
