The hotel is close to the train station. It has an intimate feel, being owner managed. It was close enough to the tourist attractions to allow for walking. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The big bay windows, even though it fronted the building next door, was a nice change from stuffy rooms at other hotels. The area was much better than we expected and was surprisingly quiet. We were told that the front door would be locked at 12. Since we did a lot of walking and sight seeing during the day, it didn't bother us, wanting to be in bed at 10:30 in any case. But young couples or people prefering the night life might find it inconvenient. |

we liked a familiar enviroment, with helpful staff. the hotel was very clean and relatively quiet. it has no parking, but we found out too late that the hotel can arrange a reasonble parking for you. it is in the third floor and the lift is too small. |

Hotel Angelica was in a convenient location to get to all the Florentine sights. Also, for our trip, being near the train terminal was a big plus. Breakfast was good each morning, and rooms were spotless. Being only one street over from the train station, there was a bit too much street noise. Several of the tour buses made their turn-around loop onto this street. Just one more street further from the train would have been much better. |

A great little hotel with a fantastic location only a few hundred yards from the train station. We were a group of 9 in three rooms . quad and triple rooms were clean comfortable and spacious, The acommodation has a secure feeling requiring access via two buzzer activated doors, air conditioning was a welcome feature on a very hot August day in Florence. the double room had a small double bed which could be problematic for larger couples. The owners were friendly and accommodating and arranged a great place to eat for us in the evening. Breakfast was continental buffet style -fine although not enough tables for all rooms so consider avoiding peak breakfast time -go early or late. We would highly recommend this hotel and would return |

The location, cleanliness and service were exceptional. The building the hotel is in was wonderful with an elevator straight out of a Bond Movie. A fantastic experience staying in a hotel that made it feel like home. |

The staff were very courteous and kind. Even though the Toilet for a private room was jinxed (just an alcove) the ambience was homely and safe. The breakfast was fantastic. Will recommend highly!! There could have been provision to eliminate the WC foset and instead extend the bathroom a littlemore.. You never could take a shower without banging on the doors.. Almost had to stand still for the shower!! |

I stayed here with my parents and loved it! The family that runs this hotel is extremely nice and helpful. I would stay here again and again. The hotel is located a stone throw away from S.M. Novella train station and can be easily reached by foot. It is on the third floor and the building does have an elevator - somewhat antiquated but it does the trick. If you stay here you will be able to walk to the San Lorenzo market in 2 minutes. We stayed in a triple room. The room had AC, TV with local stations, a small balcony and your standard European bathroom. Breakfast is served from 7:30am to 9:30am so you will need to be an early riser to catch this one - fortunately we did. The only change I would make is adding a mini-fridge to each room. |

The street is reasonably quiet. The location is great. The lack of internet access is a big problem. Breakfast could be better. |

First and foremost the owner Angelina was superb!! Very helpful and very enthusiastic! Breakfast had a good variety to choose from and was tasty. Convenient to the train station. At the top of the hotel there is a nice terrace to relax and enjoy the view. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay again if in Florence. |
