Close to train station and all the sights. The breakfast was small but adequate. Angelina, the owner, is a delightful lady.
Family owned, very friendly sengora Angelina. It was very comfortable stay.
I Really Liked that Hotel Angelica is So Close to the train station, market and major sites. Great people and breakfast. The private balcony is not big enough to put a chair on though.
A basic accommodation but very close to the train station. Not a huge luggage storage capacity for those arriving by those trains, or leaving on them, but the owners let you store your bags in the foyer which is relatively safe. The room we stayed in was basic, but clean. It also came with sheets and air conditioning which was welcome in the hot conditions. The breakfast is basic but tasty.
Absolutely nothing. Maybe location only but is noisy
Absolutely everything . Do not go there. If there is fire or some emergency better have parachute because the doors are locked at night. Terrible place. Good luck
The location was great for going round Florence.
Not a great welcome to the hotel. Our room was small and certainly not a double bed, uncomfortable sleep. Noisy at night as was woken by other guests. Breakfast ok, not a huge selection.
Because I didn't arrive until 10 pm, I was told my tween bed / double bed room was given away to another costumer. I was left with one bed after having booked this room with few weeks in advance. My friend would not sleep in the same bed with me, so I had to go and find another room in the middle of the night for myself. I ended up paying an additional 200 euros for another room. It was very upsetting. The lady at the reception kept on saying how I should of come earlier!! My fly got delayed!!! Nothing I could do about that. I would never stay at that hotel again!
When we got to Florence, we were surprised at how easy it was to locate the hotel from the train station. We had a picture of the hotel with us so it helped. Once we found the place we were greeted by a very friendly lady whom we presume is the owner as her name is Angelica. She made us feel right at home. Our hotel room was cozy and comfortable and clean. We really like how close it was to the main area in florence. Very nice experience. They also provided a light breakfast during our stay which was a nice addition.
The wifi wasn't always working and we had to ask a few times to get it to work. It was just difficult to contact family for this reason it as frustrating.
I didn't like where the entrance is
Family run place. They clearly take pride in what they do. Having a nice clean and friendly place to return to made our trip thoroughly enjoyable. For those of you who worry about pre-paying, we prepaid for this reservation. There were no problems.
This place is modern, clean, secure and run by very pleasant people. It is close to the train and bus stations, and also to the district for leather goods. Florence being not very large, it is a short walk pretty well to anywhere. Given some of my other experiences in Italy, where hotels and B&Bs hyped their services but did not always deliver, I would give this hotel a 10 out of 10 rating.
Location is very good and the breakfast is great.
The room arrangement is a bit messy. We stayed for 3 nights and the host asked us if possible to swap the room in the 2nd day as other guest reserved. We insisted finally and stayed the same room. It seems the room arrangement is not really good
-helpful and friendly staff -breakfast was good and dishes and eating area were clean -location (close to trains, buses and attractions ) -air conditioning -room modern, upgraded & clean -private washroom with a shower - convenient lift to upper floor -great value *****
Great friendly family run hotel. Really helpful.
Poor outlook from rear window. A bit of noise carried from an adjoining room.
having to hand our room key in every time we went out
great location, family like hotel
no safety box in the room
Location is great Staff very friendly & helpful Facility very clean
The staff were excellent
Your ad indicated that we would have a balcony. Not true. There is a communal roof terrace 2 floors up
The family run business was an excellent part of our stay in Florence. The rooms were clean and spacious and we were well looked after. The staff were helpful, breakfast plentiful, and the venue was close for walking to all attractions - we did not need to use public transport at all.
Welcoming and friendly hosts. Cosy and comfortable. Room was good size with all the comforts one needs when on holiday. Lovely modern clean bathroom. Generous breakfast. Close to station and historical centre.
Excellent location.very nice owners, very helpful and friendly. Excellent value.
Good wifi In The lobby but not a very good signal in the room.
Very close to train station
Expensive for the room, 75% of which is occupied by the bed. Very basic facilities. Not enough electrical outlets to charge mobile phone and tablet. Bathroom is about 50 cm x 50 cm. We are of small frame and find it difficult to turn around. We hope that you do not drop your soap when you take your bath. The bathroom doors (2half-doors) do not close tight and water drips outside. When you leave your room for sightseeing you have to hand over the room key to the front desk. The problem is that the owner enters the room behind you. We came to know this because the air-con was turned off as we left it on deliberately due to very hot room.
Francesco was a wonderful host. Very welcoming and they made you feel quite comfortable to ask. Very quaint and nice place to stay. We loved it.
-near the train station -5-10 mins to the tourist attractions/2-3 to city centre -nice bathroom -quite clean -suitable for friends and familiy travelling together -big room
