Staff was very nice and accommodating. location is close to train and the downtown core. Easy walking. Breakfast is your basic European and very tasty. The windows could be closed to cut out most noise
Florence is a noisy city so expect noise in the night.
The staff was very kind and helpful. We spent an amazing week in this hotel. :)
Location to train station, markets, very friendly/ helpfull staff (owners)
No mini bar,had to leave passport at reception for duration of stay. Advertised as a/c but no remote to turn it on as considered not required.
Great location to train and everything else. very helpful and friendly staff, made to feel very welcome. Provided gluten free choices for breakfast. Our room had access to a terrace with a view.
The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the room was spacious and clean. We really wanted to enjoy our stay.
The neighborhood was sketchy, especially at night. You could hear everything happening in the other rooms. The front desk kept your room key while you were out in the city, and there was no safe in the room. Breakfast was not very good. Beds were uncomfortable, and the blankets on the bed were very thin for Autumn/Winter.
Friendly helpful staff.
Kind staff and good location
Small hotel and family owned so it's much more personal than bigger chains. Staff was amazing - friendly and always helpful. Location was great - a couple of blocks from the train and less than 10 min walk to all the main Florence sights. Clean, rooms are great size, breakfast has great selection. Stayed here 4 years ago as well and would stay again in a heartbeat.
Front doors close at night. Wasn't an issue for us at all but might be for those who want to be out all night.
Was a bit difficult to find initally as the map from the website didnt take us to the right place but after a walk around we found it. Breakfast had a good selection.Staff were friendly. Close to the main shopping area of Florence and only a 2 min walk to the train station.
Owners went out of there way to assist me with baggage issue I had and were exceptionally friendly - close to railway station and good value for money
Location, security, excellent staff, cleanliness. Owner Angelina and her family could not be friendlier or more accommodating. Proximity it train and all key attractions was outstanding. Would recommend to anyone!
Nothing comes to mind.
the location to Firenze Novella station only
the room was tiny..the breakfast area tiny..the foyer was tiny and the whole hotel is situated on the 3rd floor up an ancient lift from the street.Breakfast was poor selection...there was no English programs on the TV...said they had problems ,but did not fix it within the 5 days we were there.Had to be very quite after 10pm as rooms are on top of each other. Photos on Booking .com are very decieving
- Really nice breakfast buffet with lots of choice - Lovely reception staff who are really helpful - Well located near the train station and all major sites are walkable
- My boyfriend did not like the bed, said it was not very comfortable. For me, it was fine, no frills but adequate
Location Security Breakfast
Very safe secure. Perfect location. Helpful for lots of extras,- ice pack and refrigerator when needed.
scaffolding for construction or cleaning(?) but this was common on many buildings and necessary to upkeep.
Manager was very helpful, provided good dinner recommendations. Breakfast was good, with enough choices for us non Italians wanting more than a pastry.
Breakfast was excellent, room was quite and comfortable.
No tea and coffee making facilities, no chef 1night
Hotel Angelica is a very good hotel stands very near by to the railway station. Staff is so good you cannot compare. Excellent stay over all.
Warm welcome, clean large room, ideal location close to station, but in quiet road.
- unhelpful staff - there's a curfew at 1am; you won't be able to get in the hotel after that so you're stuck out in the streets - poor breakfast, limited choices
The staff were very friendly, I am a frequent traveller and I have not ever just left my valuables in my room. The owner said that it was a family business and there was no need to worry. Nothing went missing and we felt totally safe. He even advised us to watch out for pick pockets. Breakfast was continental and we were allowed to make tea/coffee when ever we wanted in the kitchen. Family couldn't do enough for us. We shut the door and explored Florence which is all within walking distance from this perfect location. Just two streets opposite the train/bus station. I would definitely recommend this hotel and I would use it if I get to Florence again.
I couldn't fault anything.
The room & bathroom were very clan, the staff very helpful & the location near the railway station was convenient. It was a short walk to the centre of Florence.
Access by lift was difficult due to limited space for people & luggage.
Hotel is very near SMN station. Hotel staff is very helpful . Good breakfast and wifi in the room too . Enjoyed my stay at Hotel Angelica eventhough it is a very short stay .
the breakfast is good and the couple receptionists are helpful though English is not so good
extremely bad wifi connection and speed, one of the receptionist is totally non-helpful-poor english and little knowledge about the city
Location was fantastic! Owners wonderful - great breakfast. Would refer and stay here when I am in Florence again! We forgot our converter and they loaned us one. They arranged for wine to be delivered to the room - very personal service! Thanks to all...
