The room was nice, but the breakfast was not really a breakfast, so much so, that is a bit of a stretch to call it a B&B. It consisted of coffee (good) and a small store bought packet of tiny dry toast, a packet of jam, a packet of honey, and a packet of either a very small biscuit thing OR a very small packet of some sort of cake. It was all packaged in plastic from a store. I'm not a big eater, but we're talking about maybe 7 bites of food? It would not take much for them to improve in this area and to make their B&B really top notch. Other places we stayed had great breakfasts of assorted home made cakes, cheese, rolls, fruit, yogurt, cereal, etc. We enjoyed our stay very much, it was just a bit misleading to say that breakfast was included.
Angels in Rome is located in a really nice neighborhood near the Villa Borghese. There is a bus right outside the door that takes you to the train staion, where you can get buses anywhere. It was very easy to use. The park is really nice too, and we enjoyed walking through it daily and felt safe there after dark. The room was large, clean and comfortable and the hosts were very nice. We felt bad because we were not able to contact them with our time of arrival due to problems with our phone. I know they had to wait for us, but they were very nice about it. The decor was pretty and the bathroom and kitchen clean. It was nice having basic kitchen facilities available.
