The crew was very friendly, quiet place, fast wi-fi, very very clean.
Nice personal in this hotel not fare away from metrostation Corco D'Oro, comfortable to go to the city center good breakfast big and comfortable bed
very-very slow and bad wi-fi dampness and mold in the room and bathroom small room and bathroom Absolutely not 4 stars hotel but 3* can be 100%
Our 2nd time at this hotel, 1st time when it opened 5 years ago. Small, neighbourhood hotel on bus route, subway 5 min. walk, and lots of shops in the vicinity.
Hotel is ready for a bit of a face lift after being open 5-6 years... time for a refresh and detailed cleaning. Free Wi-Fi wroks best in lobby (comfy chairs to sit in), but need to improve level of service and router hardware to have consistent coverage in rooms.
Location close to Metro Good Breakfast Good water pressure Comfortable bed
Cleanness of rooms
Very friendly staff, delicious breakfast, good place near metro
breakfast is fine.
The guy on duty in the evening is really bad: no smile, not warm-hearted, not eager to suggest tourist spots, and even don;t know how to go the airport by bus etc.....I feel upset about the service because this is a four-star hotel. In my opinion, it is at most 2-star. Also, bed linen seems not clean. Lastly, the location is close to the subway, but the surrounding of the hotel is very bad. All in all, I will not go back when I am in Rome next time.
Location Room Layout Bed Shower
Accessibility to tourist sites
Very close to metro, in a quiet area.
Unavailability of free parking in the area, limited maintenance, difficult to have a tap fixed.
Comfortable,,good a/c,helpful staff, the breakfast was good but not extraordinary,5 min.walk from the metro station, but not the main line.Value for money.
This hotel must be RENOVATED.Almost all furniture were damaged, the curtain in our room was very dirty and the walls must be repainted. The hotel is far from the center and you need about 20 min.to get to the main line. The suburb is quiet, but it has a lot of immigrants. It is not a 4 stars hotel,I would give 2 or 3.
We liked the comfort bed, the rich breakfast and the new towels and sheets every day. The location of the hotel next to Conca D'oro metro was great! It is generally a nice hotel to stay in Rome.
Our room did not look like a room of a 4* hotel, more like of a 3* one. The walls were a bit dirty and unpaint. On the ceiling there was a trace of a shoe that had tried to kill a mosquito. There was mold in some spaces in the bathroom and for two days, there was not hot water in the shower at around 21.30 in the evening.
Near Metro Station, good breakfast
Not a 4 star hotel maybe 3
Very good hotel with new and modern furniture in the rooms, the lobby and the breakfast room. Value for money compared with other old and expensive hotels in Rome. The hotel was just 5 minutes walking from the Conca D’oro metro stop and about 20 minutes by metro from Termini station and 40 minutes from piazza di Spagna. If this is an advantage or disadvantage depends on your travel schedule. Breakfast was amazing. There was everything you need to start your day. I think it couldn’t be better. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They were willing to help you on whatever you need. Especially a guy named Marco. At our check-in they gave us a room on the 1st floor but we had a problem with the single bed and we asked to change room if it was possible. Marco very kindly helped us and gave us another room on the 5th floor on the terrace of the building.
Hotel Aniene is really a 4 stars hotel compared with other old and without services, hotels in Rome but don’t expect a 4 stars hotel of the others cities. Our room on the 5th floor was quite big but the other one on the 1st floor was tiny for 3 persons. There wasn’t any space for 3 suitcases. Not a chance. During the 2nd night of our stay, there wasn’t hot water in the shower. We were told that they had a technical damage and that they would fix it the next morning, which was true but when someone pays 100 € per night wants at least to take a hot shower at the end of an exhausting day and there are no excuses. They should have been prepared to control situations like these.
clean room, breakfast, proximity to the metro station
wi-fi bad, the room it did not exist even though it was offered, arranged private parking and did not honor the agreement, small room
Hotel Aniene is very good comparing price and quality. Location is OK, you have 400m to metro station and it takes 20 minutes to get to Colosseo. Stuff is very kind and helpful, breakfast is OK, not great but enough selection for everybody. Room are not that big, but they are clean and cozy.
Room window was directly above the street so it can get a little bit noisy during the day. Although we had WiFi in room it was not that great and I think upper floors didn't had it.
Nearness to Metro
Not on the main metro route.
Bed was comfortable, near metro and bus stop
Picked this hotel because of 4* rating, it's location and price.....On arrival the hotel didn't inform us of breakfast timings or give us Guest information like map or bus route etc which is a service I would expect of 4* hotel. Cleanliness could have been better. On arrival day no hot water. There was limited breakfast options. No tea and coffee making facility in the room. Given iron to use but no ironing board. Wouldn't stay again or recommend hotel.
The lobby was nice, Simone was great, and the breakfast was very nice. We liked that the Metro was very close.
We didn't like how far out Conca d'Oro is from most attractions. We also didn't appreciate being put into a strange room where we could hear china clinking in the breakfast area each morning beginning before 7am. I don't know if that was the deal for booking.com, but it felt claustrophopic with no windows on the walls. Just a window in the ceiling. I would never stay in that room again.
10 minute walk to the Metro, 25 minutes into Colloseo. The local district had a good range of bars and restaurants.
The Wi-Fi was not working and no discount offered, parking was €15 per day in a garage which refused to give a receipt to confirm the vehicle was dropped off.
Good service and breakfast. Clear and cosy. Near the metro station.
But the environment around the hotel seems not very secure. I even did not let my girl friend go out individually.
Friendly staff, proximity to metro, excellent breakfast
Nice place, good location near the metro station.
Clean room, cheaper that most of hotels, close to the metro, new furnishing, friendly and helpfull staff
Shabby neighborhood, poor breakfast,
The hotel was modern and near the subway (3 minute walk). The room was comfortable and big enough. We liked the breakfast (not really continental style, but italian style with cakes).
The wifi was extremly bad.
The brekfast was varied. The sheets and towels were changed daily. Regarding the area it is a quite one and we had no problem in coming back late in the room.
First of all when we entered the room it was something else a very very small one, not like in the photos. We had no place to un pack our luggage. We kept the lugage in the bathroom in order to save space in the room. The walls are very thin you hear all the noise from the corridor and from the neighbours even when thy take shower. We had no cable tv and the internet was poor. Hotel room and reception does not like at all like in pictures. Definetely not a 4 stars hotel.
