Perfect location, just acrros the street from Boboli Gardens, 2-3 min walk from Pitti hotel; authentic Palazzo style, bringing back the flavour of some centuries ago, beautiful surroundings, very friendly staff, quiet and cozy, in walking distance from any of the beautiful attractions of Florence. Annalena is the oposite of a standard hotel with no personality, it is great for spending a city break or even a holiday. being in the city of the center, parking is quite an issue; it has nothing to do with the quality of the hotel, but it is worth to keep in mind when booking anything in Florence.

Everything! The staff was gracious and helpful and the gentleman most often at the front desk was informative, funny and always a pleasure to talk to. The location is great, across the street from the Boboli Gardens and just down from the Pitti Palace and the Ponte Vecchio. It was so nice to be on this side of the bridge, less touristy, quiet for sleeping and lots of cafes, restaurants, bars and shops to choose from. Will defintely stay there again!

The staff really makes the hotel worth its value. They were friendly, attentive and very helpful. The hotel itself was a sight to see. The decor was nice mixture of old and new. The room was the perfect size and had all the necessary ammenities. If you're looking to get away from the noise of the city then I recommend the Hotel Annalena because it's in a quiet part of Firenze. It's a bit of a walk to the bars and clubs but there are some very good restaurants within a five minute walk. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is in a beautiful building and we had a lovely view over the garden. Loved the balcony also, and the furnishings in the room were lovely. The gentleman on the front desk was fantastic! Great service. Good location as we really enjoy being on that side of the river. Not as touristy but fabulous restaurants! Breakfast was nice, but quite basic. Good coffee though. The shower/bathroom gets really wet from the shower. Just put a lot of towels down.

It was competatively priced against similar hotels. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location was good, but not ideal. Very Dated. Plumbing, furniture, electric, security. Badly in need of updating. Shower would slow to a trickle in the morning. Soap dish came off the wall. Toilet seat was broken. All minor inconviences but not something you'd expect at 120 euro/night. Balcony overlooked park, but also close to street with a lot of noise. I do not have any other experience to judge this hotel against in Florence, but we will not stay there again should we ever go back.

It is a very quaint with beautiful decor nicely tucked away on the 2nd floor of a building that you would never suspect there is a hotel in it! The location was superb across the street from the Boboli Gardens and just down from the Pitti Palace. Easy walking to main sites. Breakfast was good and the staff were very hospitable and helpful. The room was clean and the airconditioning was welcoming. Over all we had a very nice stay and would definitely return!

Excellent location for the centre of Florence, without the crowds or noise. Boboli gardens opposite. Palazzo Pitti only 3 mins walk, and Ponte Vecchio 5 mins. Good choice of restaurants and cool coffee, snack bars nearby. Good value. Breakfast perfectly fine and they even gave us breakfast when we were late! Helpful reception staff. Lots of character and impressive lounge and breakfast room. Balcony in our room was well used in the hot weather. However, rooms do need updating - ie lick of paint wouldn't go amiss. Bathroom and shower was good.

Me and my girlfriend absolutely loved this hotel! Granted, it's not top modern, but it's very charming and genuine. It's located in a very relaxed area, but still only a five minutes walk from the city center. In addtions, we had a nice porch outside our room, which althogh available to several rooms, was only used by us. We highly recommned this hotel - charming rooms, inspiering architecture and excellent location. It did not have a safe nor a refrigiator, but we were allowed to use the one in the hotel's kitchen.

This charming hotel is perfectly located in quiet arei in the historic center, but on walking distance to all major sights. The staff was very helpful and room was clean. The breakfast is mostly basic, but completely enough for "recharging the batteries" and discover the city

A great location amongst rolling Tuscan vineyards! Perfect for touring the region, with a welcoming pool after a long day in the sunshine! Nearby Siena is a beautiful town. Would have appreciated basic tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms. The "superior" room only had a balcony in addition to the standard room which was not worth the premium paid. That was the only downside!

Quaint and eclectic. Fascinating decor. Good coffee. Bathroom is small. Air conditioning didn't work therefore the window needed to be open to cool room and this allowed mosquitoes to enter.

“The Villa is a really nice old building which was preserved during the years. inside the rooms there was old but really well preserved furniture which just added more charm to the place. The garden around the Villa is also marvelous. I can recommend and will definitely go back if I'm visiting Florence again.” Tihomir, Brno |

“The location was great - away from the main sites and crowds, but close enough to walk there in about 15 minutes on a pleasant, pedestrians-only street. Enrico, the owner, was very attentive. He gave us a map and showed us everything we needed to know about the sites and the transit system. He recommended restaurants that were tasty, inexpensive and away from the tourist area. The weather was so good that we walked everywhere from B&B Cimabue 9. The rooms are small and clean with adequate storage and lots of hot water.” Elizabeth, Dartmouth |
