Huge rooms Period furniture Quiet
The rooms were boiling hot, air con didn't do much The reception staff, the lady was going on holiday the following day, but her attitude was appalling. Breakfast was included in the rate but the location on the top floor, outside and if it was raining a small marque was erected which could hold 6-8 tables of 2 and was cramped, it was raining!
Great location, cool design, comfortable bed.
Very noisy, not only from the street but one could hear every single sound coming from the other rooms.
The location was excellent for central Rome. The rooms were large and and the decor very atmospheric. The breakfast was basic but served on a roof terrace with great views. The waitress serving breakfast was lovely and worked her socks off.
The air conditioning in one of the rooms was not working and despite reporting it on our first day it was not fixed during our stay which meant the room was unbearably hot and sleep was difficult. Given the cost of the room I would have expected better and more to have been done to rectify the problem. In the end we were told that none of the previous guests had complained and we felt we were being ignored. Without this I would have rated the hotel higher but as it is I can't recommend it.
Really one of the best locations in Rome - 1 minute from Piazza Navona and 5-minute walk from Vatican (just one street away from San Angelo Castle). Trust me, you can be more central and close to the main attractions of glorious Rome than that! Perfectly friendly staff is ready to assist with anything on the 24/7 basis. Uniquely great designs of rooms make you feel like living in the slightly post Renaissance, a bit modernized by coffee machines, sockets and bathroom facilities though, which can't be a minus surely :) Terrace of the Hotel offers a nice view over Rome and its cupols (including one of San Pietro) as well as makes you meet the most common inhabitants of Roma which are the greedy and shouty seaguls. Feeding them during a breakfast is sure a fun, but it often results into broken dishes as soon as you get distracted and let the bird come closer :) Oh yeah, this terrace is open 24/7, so make sure that one evening a take a nice bottle of wine, any food you might need (if any) and pack of cigs (if applicable) and spend a nice afterlunch party on that lovely terrace. It will end some vivid experience and joy to the overall stay and might make you feel like a real Roman dweller! In a nutshell, sorta one of the best options for surely the best city in the world. PS Beware: "saint" guy (if any saint, but corrupt bishop from Medici era) on the picture just in front your bed is watching you. Consider it, if romantic evening with a lover goes that far :)
Rooms are meticulously appointed with cove lighting, oil paintings, floor to ceiling curtains, high wood bean ceilings and situated in a quiet side street near Piazza Navona.
Remote public parking was pricey
Location was fantastic. If you want to be close to everything, and have a spacious, quaint room, this is the place!!!!
The staff was very friendly. Without being asked, the girl gave us a lot of information about the local area. We checked out the hotel for a short trip to Napoli, left 2 bags at the reception. Upon our return, the receptionist had already arranged to put our bag in the room (We were very grateful for this kind gesture as the B&B is about 1 minutes walk from the reception on a bit bumpy street. And we were tired after a 2 days trip)
breakfast is poor. The fruit were not really fresh, some were almost off. The breakfast is on the roof. The view is great however it was too hot to sit there. The staff at the bfst place were very nice people as well.
Great location, good staff, enjoyed the rooftop breakfast, interesting room decor, good air-conditioning.
Via Coronari is a perfect location , staff is very helpful and welcoming, rooftop terrace has a beautiful view
Very nice location. Room spacious enough and clean. Very good air conditioning which was essential in the heat of Rome. Friendly reception staff - made to feel very welcome. Nice decor in bedroom if a little dark. Would use the hotel again despite some faults.
Breakfast terrace - not enough shaded areas to sit and it was very warm even in the morning. Breakfast very basic . No mirror in bedroom. Shower cubicle very small. Had requested superior room and was not given one.
View from terrace for breakfast was excellent. The hotel location was also excellent.
Luggage had to be opened and kept on the floor, very inconvenient.
breakfast was bad as breads and croissant were not fresh. as we have requested for 2 twin beds however we were given a sofa bed instead. the hotel should have informed us of it during our booking that rooms does not have twin beds.
The location was great and the staff very helpful. The suite was spacious and the breakfast was plentiful and served on the rooftop, which was lovely.
The location was fabulous but it was noisy, even with the windows closed and the air conditioning turned on. The suite wasn't extremely well lit either.
Large rooms Location Breakfast terrace Free minibar, coffee machine
Bit of a smell in the bathroom
We had the breast room in the hotel. It was creatively and beautifully decorated...a lot of fun.
The main hotel looked very nice and the rooftop breakfast area was lovey.
Our room was in the other building which was not maintained. Our room was actually located outside of the area managed by the hotel. We were on the other side of a very heavily bolted door. Street noise was very loud all night even with windows and shutters closed. Internet only worked in small sitting area.
Perfect location, helpful staff!
A lot of noise, especially during the night. Bad Wi-Fi signal.
location is fantastic. beautiful, romantically decorated room. Hotel staff are extremely sweet, helpful and service minded! Thanks for making our stay wonderful.
Only two very minor things: The room needs to have a bin (not just one in the bathroom) and the water pressure and temperature in the shower is a bit unstable - but I presume that is the same for most properties in the centro storico.
Location was great.
Internet did not work well Breakfast was minimal.
Excellent room staff- Ricardo - really added to our stay Superb area, easy to walk almost everywhere Baroque decor was an interesting twist from standard hotel rooms, and the room was spacious
Breakfast in the room meant the cappuccino were always a bit cool No real reception area
very good interior decration with old age atmosphere very good location to feel the life in old part of rome
the stairs are really very lean
The staff was absolutely wonderful, very genuine, helpful and lovely to deal with.the breakfast on the rooftop was a highlight for us. We will certainly be back when we come to rome next.
It's a very good hotel! Also very good price! Good area and you have everything near to you, anything you need! It's in the right place so you can see all the sights! Very comfortable and the Staff is nice and young people and they help you with everything!
Perfect situation for a hotel but excessively noisy. The windows are bad and the street is very busy at night.
Location was excellent right on a lane full of antique shops shops. A decorators delight full of old world col,our charm, paintings and fittings. It was very private. staff were fantastic, very helpful and kind.
