Lack of Space
- Every single one of the staff is quite helpful and kind. They did everything to make us feel comfortable and to help us enjoy our stay. - The location of the hotel is great. Didn't use any means of transportation to go somewhere in the city, walked everywhere.
- Really Clean - Cosy room with minimal & modern decoration - Very friendly stuff - Close to center
- Not a real disadvantage, a limited variety of breakfast.
the staff was really helpful and friendly, room was very clean and the location was perfect.
try not to take room 301.It was a little bit noisy because it was close to the breakfast room
Very central location - you can walk to many of the important sites of Rome. The staff is very friendly and will take good care of you. The room was very quiet and although is was compact, it had everything we needed. The hotel is located in an area that has many interesting small shops and restaurants.
thanks to personnel of the hotel which was highly polite, hospitable and welcome my week holidays in Rome became fantastic journey. It is very important to emphasize that reception in the hotel was cordial, administrators were ready to satisfy requests and do it on time. Wi-fi connection was stable and fast that was important for my Instagram and Facebook pictures which I wanted to share. Rooms are small, but it is usual situation for historical downtown of such cities as Paris, Rome etc. Location was best - bus stations and main sights were at a walking distance. Breakfast was simple, but variative and was adorn by beauttiful and positive administrator. I was fully satisfied with the hotel and Rome!
The sfaff were lovely, very helpful, were excellent in communicating prior to arrival and were happy to wait up to let me in after my long journey from Australia.
Bed could have been softer, but this seems consistent across all hotels in Italy
Small room Breakfast choice
Hall ways and rooms were beautifully appointed Breakfast staff very accomodatingAll staff were excellent
Rooms were too small, no room for luggage or storage
Location in a mice neighborhood with lots of restaurants, cafes and terraces. The room was very clean and the staff was helpful.
I missed some sort of place to put my bag on, although there wasn't really much room left for it in the room.
Beautifully decorated rooms, very good breakfast, extremely helpful staff, especially Mariana. Walking distance to the Vatican and other iconic places. Felt very safe in the hotel and also outside.
I missed not being able to make a cuppa in the room. But it was the same in Paris and Venice, so perhaps it isn't usual for tea and coffee making facilities to be in the rooms. Not a problem though, there was a small shop nearby and an excellent cafe almost opposite.(Pappa's)
- location was excellent - staff were very helpful and have gone out of their way to make our stay a very pleasant one.
- price is perhaps a bit high
Small Rooms Not so clean Wifi wasn't working
nice building excellent location
small room poor breakfast
- Friendly hotel stuff. -Location is elegant.
- Rooms are to small and a wardrobe does not exist.
Small boutique hotel - our room was very small - though most other rooms were bigger !
Great location and beautiful old house nicely renovated. Very friendly helpful staff.
Bathroom small and some issues with wifi - it wouldn't stop me returning however!
Clean rooms, yummy breakfast, friendly staff.
Rooms are small.
the location of this hotel could hardly be any better, just two blocks up from Piazza Navona. The staff was truly friendly and helpful.
It's a bit confusing that the reception is located on the second floor, but we knew this was usual for hotels in Rome. Still, the only thing that identified the hotel's location was a note on the door bell. This is only a drawback when arriving for the first time.
I liked the friendliness of the staff and the location.
great location by Piazza Navona & v helpful staff
tiny rooms with no sound insulation between them.
L'antica Locanda Dell'Orso was the perfect spot to stay in Rome. Not only was the location fantastic, but the hotel was very clean, simple, nicely decorated and very updated. In addition, the staff were wonderful and very welcoming. As it was my boyfriend's birthday when we arrived, they even put a bottle of champagne in the room for us free of charge. I have stayed at many other places in Rome, and this was my favorite, especially for the money!
Room was very small
