Enjoy reasonable rates at this 4-star hotel, positioned in the historic center of Milan, near the Sforzesco Castle and the Sacro Cuore University. Stay in simply furnished rooms at Hotel Mentana.

A real find of a small hotel with excellent staff and a great location. Breakfast selection varied daily for a good combination of authentic Italian and 'international' tastes.
Some rooms rather more standard than imagined but overall no detriment.
Location was good. The room was at the back of the building and was nice and quiet.
I believe good new mattresses would improve the stay.
We only stayed one night but wished we were there for longer
Located outside of the hustle and bustle, quiet location, friendly staff, large and beautiful room, close to tram/metro
Lovely courtyard Excellent breakfast 10 min walk to city center Had a room with a beautiful private garden patio
The place and service was above reproach. We arrived late and they met us at the door. Their attention to detail was more than expected
Staff was fantastic
breakfast is very good.
can not store our luggage.
Located behind huge locked doors in a quiet and lovely residential block of Milan. Location is perfect for Leonardo's "Last Supper," the Cadorna train station, and the Leonardo Museum of Science and Technology. (Take the subway or tram, both close, to the Duomo area.) Very kind and accommodating staff, creative breakfasts, lots of lovely touches in the room and public areas. Small but comfortable and pretty room.
Outer shutters didn't close all the way, so it got light at 5 a.m.
The embroidered linens, feel of the sheets. The bathroom amenities neatly tucked in a tray lined with florentine lace. The silver tray for the chocolates. The warmth of the staff and the owner. I love peace and quiet in the waiting room which reminds you of home. The decor, it's rustic appeal and antiques.
Maybe add a bit of concierge service most esp for the famous Leonardo da Vince screening or ticket. Maybe they can do tie in with operator as it is such a pity to be so near yet not have a chance to see the masterpiece. The people at the museum nearby were incredibly rude.
Where it was. I was about to object as we had to take a five stop Metro ride from the train station but when we eventually arrived we found we were in the historical centre. The place was very quaint and the staff were friendly. It was very clean. The breakfast was good.
Although we were welcomed into the elegant reception it would have been nice to feel we could use the area - but that wasn't the feeling we received. There was a bar for our use but at 15 euros for a half bottle of wine we thought it was a bit too expensive (we didn't find out the price till the following morning).
Location right next to the church of The Last Supper, within easy walking distance from the metro and train station with direct link to Malpensa airport. Tram stop a few metres from the hotel gate. Quiet hotel in a courtyard. Nice breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff, cozy room.
The single room is on the tiny side. No coffee/tea making facilities in the room, but staff will gladly prepare tea for you at no extra charge.
The staff was extremely helpful. The location is easy to access and the atmosphere highly inspiring.
Nice location, near Santa Maria delle Grazie (make sure you pre-book for the Last Supper) and an easy access to the Duomo and airport train. Great breakfast. Good wifi.
Tiny room - it was a single but had an uncomfortably small layout. The bed was quite uncomfortable. The hairdryer was no good. There was a funny smell (old carpet?).
Great location to Cardona station, easy walking to Duomo etc...
Location-close to Last Supper, walking distance to north tain station (malpense express) Best hotel breakfast we had in Italy Friendly staff Very comfortable room (minor problem with internet)
They claim hot chocolate in the room which is not the case Funny rules of not drinking, writing, eating on bed;)
Excellent location for visiting Santa Maria del grazie for the last supper. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Bed was comfortable but hard.
Lovely receptionist let us check in early and then agreed to look after our bags at the end of our stay whilst we visited 'The Last Supper' just round the corner at Santa Maria de Grazie.
Nothing - it was a lovely hotel
Lovely quiet location with friendly helpful staff. Easy to walk to most attractions.
Only minor complaint would be lack of bars/restaurants in the immediate vicinity. About a 10 minute walk for some variety.
Highly recommended. Ideal location, very close to the stop of the train from Malpensa, close to the two Metro stations, just a side of Cenacolo. Good breakfast, comfortable bad, clean bathroom.
The location was very handy, easy to walk, take the tram or metro to take in historic Milan and shopping district.area around the Duomo. or to go to the La Scala. There are great places to eat, very close in both directions from the hotel, including a gelaterie across the street and an upscale confectionery (or patisserie) that served decadent desserts around the corner from there. The staff at the Hotel were very helpful with all requests. This hotel, inside its enclosed exterior wall, with it's small garden was like a little oasis, especially in the hot weather. We would definitely stay there again.
The beds were hard and the pillows thin, which made it difficult to sleep, and that was even with the extra pillows we were able to get. The bathroom could benefit with a better shower curtain than one that wraps around you when you shower.
Generous, variegated breakfast (included). Elegant touches, such as monogramed linens.
Wifi reception in the room was weak to nonexistent.
It's walking distance to the Cadorna express shuttle to airport which makes it ideal for flying in and out of. Almost next door to "The Last Supper" painting. Charming old world feel. Clean. On my outgoing visit, the room air conditioner worked wonderfully (different than incoming stay).
Room for solo traveler is a bit small.Mattress too soft.
Liked the cute exterior of hotel, LOVE the included breakfast, bathroom was very clean, staff was extremely helpful!
Antique furniture is not my preference in the room.
